You do know that this is the entry that shows hollowing doesn't mean losing your mind right? That's the only thing really relating to amnesia in the series.
Plus, the only way to hollow is if you go through a convoluted process and don't mess it up.

Just listened to this for the 1st time after listening to Undead lullaby, Noticed that this song sounds a lot more Heroic and More optimistic than Undead lullaby.
Kinda make sense. Undead lullaby was made for the remake of Dark Souls but after Dark Souls 3 we know it’s pretty much meaningless to let the age of fire continue so we just say fuck the fire right in the beginning.

I'm returning to all of JT's Dark Souls songs for the release of Elden Ring, and honestly, this is the one I was the most excited to come back to.

At 3:58 he is talking about each game. "Hollowed, empty stoke these embers" Gwyn became hollow and you had to kill him to continue the cycle. "Lost my memories won't remember." There was a thing in DS2 known as soul memory and of course if you die you lose your souls. "The flame is fading, I'm the lone defender." This is for the darkness ending and how your entire journey through DS3 is to stop the fading of the flame. "I know I'll have a dark soul forever." This is for all three games. I just figured this out and not sure if anyone else has.
I love how the bridge near the end is the chorus from your Dark Souls I rap, while the chorus here is the outro from the OG rap. I like how it ties it all together ❤

I really love JT's lyrical flow. I'm not good enough at music to say why, but It's just so much better than almost every other rapper I know of. On top of that, the topics they rap about are almost always relevant. I remember loving their minecraft raps back when I was too young to be watching youtube without parent supervision.
