Fucking right?
If you want to listen to the songs search them up dude

Every time I click on a watchmojo video, I feel dirty. Like I just fell for a mcdonalds add.
jajajajaja, i don't know the reason but the commentary sound funny, at least for me.
I know! Even though the song I was looking for was here, 0:01 second into the video I'm thinking "shit, not watchmojo" lol (was looking for careless whisper)
lol me too
I actually just got a McDonalds ad before the video played...
Musical Stranger rip, we have been played ;_;
RIP Clarence "Big Man" Clemons, the greatest sax player of all time.
😭I know he's playing in the Heavenly band🎷❤🌈

charlie parker
I think Kenny G is better.
@@terrancewyckoff He is great! I just love him for his ssd's soprano Sax but for the alto Sax? Ben Webster is a legend!❤🥰🎷🎶

THANK YOU FOR THE TIMESTAMPS
Thank you
The Gunner' Dream by Pink Floyd is easily the best sax solo ever anywhere!
Come on, no Sunstroke Project?
Epic Sax Guy?
This list is invalidated just for that reason
Ardimo Harsa +1 at least honorable mention (just because it isnt that known)
who would want to know the song - SunStroke Project & Olia Tira - Run Away (Moldova)
Ardimo Harsa It's not exactly a solo, more like a riff (I know it's guitar term but w/e)
Ardimo Harsa Epic sax guy derserves to be here!
Ardimo Harsa I was going to say the same! Where is the Epic Sax guy?!! Not even an honorable mention? buu..
The only one that really deserves to be here is epic sax guy. He even has a meme after him, for God sake.
I've had that Baker Street saxophone solo stuck in my head since Lisa played it in The Simpsons, and I've never known the name. I heard it in 1998 and I never knew the goddamn name. Thank you WatchMojo, for doing this countdown
Montana Goss That's a seriously long time to have something stuck in your head. Congratulations on finally figuring it out.Signed,
KG
Hey watchmojo my mums ex turned up he's a sex offender in a red van he saw my mums house for sale and police came he left it's been 10 years and please give me some advice 😢
Montana Goss Oh my god, you missed one of the best songs in world! What I love even more than the saxophone solo, is Rafferty's terrific voice...
Montana Goss I had a similar ride. When I heard Lisa it blew my mind, and yet it sounded familiar but couldn´t remember the original... I asked a lot of people for years (internet wasn´t that accesible) until a friend of mine suggested that I looked out Rafferty´s song... what a glorious moment it was!
I knew the name of the song ever since I was 15. Lol
Nailed it with "Baker Street". Without a doubt one of the best songs from the 70's.
Definitely
I was watching the list thinking "Where's Baker Street". I would be so upset if it wasn't included
Not just from the 70's. In History.
Can you imagine Baker Street not being number 1? That's crazy talk
This list is not complete without Phil Kenzie's fantastic solo from Al Stewart's "Year Of The Cat".
That song has just the best vibe of all time
Truly a great tune
True and for me also Dire straits - Latest trick
Phil Kenzies solo on the Eagles Live 86. The Long Run is the best sax solo ever.
Damm Right
Dear watch mojo.
When you do top tens if it’s a scene in a movie or music, do not speak while showing said scene or music, speak before and after the clip is played. Not during. Please and thank you

This.
This is the gospel and song of music listeners.
I can’t enjoy it, if they talk over it 😤
Was gonna say the same thing lucky i checked the comments first!! Thank you i thought im the only one
This vid popped up as a suggestion in the "Epic Sax Guy" vid.
hahaha same here

Shown briefly at the very end, sax solo in Tina Turner's "Simply The Best" is what I consider a number one saxophone solo ever recorded. Only a few seconds long, it's self sufficient, passionate, and extremely well played
Edgar Winter is so damn talented, the dude is a multi-instrumentalist legend
yes! also We Don't Need Another Hero. Short but oh so sweet
How could you forget the iconic sax solo from Wesley Magoogan on Hazel
O' Connor's "Will you" it is nothing short of perfection.
Absolutely - that along with the singing and the song lyrics, it is still in my top 10
Baker Street is great, but Will you played by the late Wesley Magoogan is without a doubt the best. Went to see Hazel O Connor just to see the man play it live, he didn't disappoint amazing....
OMG... THANK YOU!!!!
Just what I was thinking.
True, but the problem is that outside of the UK and Ireland it's barely known.
DUDE! DON'T TALK DURING THE SOLO! LET ME HEAR IT
finally found my favorite comment thx
Came here to say this.
Yeah right? I was thinking the same for all the fucking video
Exactly, justshut up and let's us listen
They have to do that to avoid copyright infringement
*The Epic Sax Guy left the group*
the epic sax guy just desintegrated
And he sadly died too

Without “Your Latest Trick - Dire Straits” this list is garbage.
Well, this sentece is garbage

Definitely. I just visited the comment section to look for such a comment
True
I was just about to say comment. 0 dire straits or billy joel songs on the list eats ass.
Dire Straits Your Latest Trick, the best solo ever.
The haunting sax of Gerry Rafferty's "Baker Street" is pure genius and whenever I hear it, it still gives me goosebumps...while there are some terrific, memorable sax performances in this list, for me, nothing else is even close...plus, "Baker Street" is such a damn fine song itself...
fuck yeah I started watching the video waiting for it!
Logical song is king
It's actually a sax riff...which takes it to another level
Yes, you´re so right. And i thought i´m the only one with goosebumps because of this sax solo.
And to think it wasn't even written for a sax. The world got lucky there was a sax player to replace the missing guitarist
Roxy Music - Avalon
Roxy Music - Tara

Pink Floyd - Us and them
Pink Floyd - Shine on you crazy diamond
Pink Floyd - Wearing the inside out

What about China In Your Hand by T'pau
that was my late grandfather John's favorite song and it had an absolutley beastly sax solo, though live renditions often had a guitar solo as replacement but the original with it's mega sax solo are just amazing
Pap Hgn Pink Floyd the dogs of war
I like your list better. Especially the Pink Floyd ones. They are all way better than Money
Pretty much anything Andy Mackay plays 👍
Pink Floyd the gunners dream
The heat is on (Glenn Frey), The latest trick (Dire Straits), Shine on you crazy diamond (Pink Floyd)...
I love Jazz. I started playing the sax when I was 8.
'The Edge of Glory' was such a great song. And Clarence Clemmons was a saxophonist I've always admired (he was effortlessly brilliant) and it was amazing seeing him collaborate with a mainstream artist (as it's all crappy pop and rap nowadays)
Was it hard to learn at 8?
Something about watching WatchMojo makes my skin crawl. Anyone else
I hate how they take forever to get to the point and how their voiceovers always cut over the audio
its a soulless formula that prints money.
it's so corporate
Casual Memer Thats one of them

My mums ex turned up in a red van he was a sex offender my mum called the police he's gone it's been maybe 10 years it's shakening
WatchMojo.com Hey That's me! been waiting for this one for a while
Not even an honorable mention for Mr. Saxobeat by Alexandra Stan? Dang, Watchmojo. That was her biggest if not only hit.
Hey you should do top 10 songs most likely to get you laid
The saxophone conveys so much emotion. I really wish the younger generations could hear it in their soulless “pop” music.
You sound like an old chap but I find myself agreeing with this. Modern pop would sound great with more saxophone!
NUCLEAR-LEVEL GLARING OMISSIONS!
Glenn Frey, "The Heat Is On", "You Belong To The City" (Bill Bergman)
Huey Lewis & The News, "Do You Believe In Love?", "I Want A New Drug" (Johnny Colla)
Whitney Houston, "Saving All My Love" (Tom Scott)
Phil Collins, "One More Night" (Don Myrick)
Billy Joel, "Just The Way You Are", "It's Still Rock & Roll To Me" (Phil Woods, Richie Cannata)
Richard Marx, "Endless Summer Nights" (Dave Bouroff)
Hall & Oates, "I Can't Go For That", "Maneater" (Charles DeChant)
Sting, "We'll Be Together", "They Dance Alone" (Branford Marsalis)
These songs were basically MADE classic by the sax solos, and yet none of these even got an Honorable Mention!?
Some more i would add would include
Boy Meets Girl - Waiting for a Star to Fall (Andy Snitzer)
Christopher Cross - Arthur's Theme (Ernie Watts)
Whitney Houston - I Will Always Love You (Kirk Whalum)
Billy Joel - New York State of Mind (Mark Rivera?)
Steely Dan - Deacon Blues (Pete Christlieb)
Bryan Ferry - Let's Stick Together (Chris Mercer)
T'pau - China In Your Hand (Gary Barnacle)
Quarterflash - Harden my Heart (Rindy Ross)
Only When You Leave (Spandau Ballet), The One You Love (Glenn Frey)...
Baker Street
Careless Whisper
Songbird
Midnight City

Songbird is incredible great taste
Original recording of Baker Street had Robert McNeil on the sax. He’s 82, still playing. Still amazing.
Not forgetting Mad Mick (Infinity 1989)
@@lesleymitchell3182 this video said Rafael Ravenscroft. Which is it?
Gotta be Baker Street

Me too, a brilliant mistake, which made for the best number one iconic sax rift!
welcome2havoc my boi
Al Stewart's 'Year of the Cat' has a really great sax riff in it and could have been on this list too. But you guys nailed it with Rafferty's 'Baker Street' as having the MOST iconic sax riff of all time in pop/rock music!
Jungleland....R.I.P. Big Man and the flawless sound of the Sax.
Still miss the big guy. Always remember when he stepped on the stage in Edinburgh, he got a bigger ovation then the boss.
Epic Sax Guy wasn't number one. This list is fake and irrelevant
+Brantopias
That wasn't a real saxophone. It was a symphonizer, but then again, many of these may have used them as well.
because baker street exists.
From a synthesiser player, it was not, Baker street was real. Sax synth sounds back then were dire, but now it's a bit of a job to tell in some cases. I have a very realistic sax sound on one synth, and I can play this solo, but even so, i doubt it would fool you.
You're joking lol. Baker Street is by far the best dad solo and riff of all time. GTFO of here with your synthesizer BS

Yeah, that and Al Stewart's Year of the Cat
Everytime😂😂❗️
Yeah. Me too. I blame The Simpsons for that. 😂
I am not gonna lie, I to came hear because of the Simpsons, when Lisa played it at the end of the episode, I wracked my brain for almost two days trying to remember the damn Song and Artist! So thank you!!
And careless whispers
The sax in The Cars "It's All Mixed Up" is a dream. I wish it was longer.
Sweet sounds.
Check it out!
There's so many favorites to choose from: Sh-boom!- the Chords. Stormy- Classics IV. Tequila- the Champs. What does it take to win your love?- Jr. Walker and the allstars.
Careless Whisper, Bakers' St., Urgent, Smooth Operator, Maneater, Who can it be now?, Soul Makoossa, You're a friend of mine, Just the way you are, Carribean Queen, and You belong to the city rank in the top 20.
I like everything about this video expect for the fact that none of my solos are in it.
+BriansThing Bruh I agree. Lol keep up the nice vids brian.

Baker Street is my favorite song of all time. It brings back all kinds of emotions and transports me through time!
what you say is so true i was 7 when it came out and this song takes me right back like a timetravel machine, and it makes me so happy.
@@T2tac i was -21 years old when it came out and it's still my favorite song by far! My uncle played it when i was like 7 yo and he took me to golfing with him. I think i haven't heard it since but a few years ago it randomly came to my mind and it wasn't hard to find.. i've listened to it at least once every few months for the last 5 years, still love it :) i wish i could have experienced the 70s and 80s, such awesome music compared to basically everything after 2011
Midnight City by M83 is probably my favourite song ever. When it gets near the end and the whole song is winding out with the saxophone doing huge flairs... Something about it just makes me feel free, young, and sad, all at the same time. Amazing song.
I think that the solo from "Your Latest Trick" (Dire Straits) should have been on this list.
I was waiting for someone to say that! I can't believe they would miss such an iconic sax solo
yeah... it has to be the single most recognized sax solo... in all kinds of movies, as well as romantic scenes on soap operas
Shit dude I just commented the sam thinking that no one would talk about this as most people from this era don't know about that iconic song. And then I saw your comment.
For sure !!! in 2nd on my opinion
KJPChickenwing Or Hall & Oates' Maneater
Dire Straits - Your Latest Trick
Was looking for this
Oh god yes!
Oh yes, sir
They mention Katy Perry, but no Dire Straits!? Can't believe.
Yes, Michael Brecker. All that and then some.
John Helliwell is easily one of the most underrated saxophone/clarinet players in the rock genre. In all honesty, half of this list could’ve had Supertramp songs. “Baker Street” really is hard to top though...
Absolutely agree with your #1. First time I heard it, I had the radio on in my car. Switched on about half-way through the first lyric. Then that sax line hit me. I didn't know the name of the song. Went to 3 different record stores, and sang the sax line to 3 different clerks, trying to find out. It absolutely blew me away.
1: The Rolling Stones - Brown Sugar
2: Gerry Rafferty - Baker Street
3: The Sonics - Have Love Will Travel
4: Pink Floyd - Money
5: The Doors - Touch Me
Exactly brown sugar is the greatest
Ned D. You completely forgot urgent it has one of the best sax solo’s ever
Bad to the bone
Your Latest Trick by Dire Straits missing
Are you brain dead? Two Suns in The Sunset should be number 2.
This list is incomplete without Hall & Oates' "Maneater" solo.
Milin Patel SO RIGHT! Should've been #1!
I'm guessing I don't get "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant" then.
You have all reason!
What about Tequila? Maybe no one at Watchmojo was born yet.
Milin Patel. And the Rolling Stones Brown Sugar !
Why is "Maneater" by Hall and Oates not included?!
Is it me or nearly all in the top 10 from either the 70s and 80s?
Yeah, and what the hell is Gaga doing in that list?
I have been a musician ( for fun mostly) for 40 years. It was the song URGENT that made me pick up a sax, then I went to trumpet, piano, guitar and bass, with harmonica on the side. I owe my whole choice on learning music to Foriegner, who is great but never one of my favorites. It was that sax solo that shook me.
I think that song should be number 1 on this list. It has a riff and a solo... and both AWESOME !!! Your latest trick number 2 !!!
you forget Epic sax guy ;c .....
the sax is the only redeeming part of the song.
shhhh ;3 .......
OMG ur right!
*SPOILER ALERT*
ok ;v
i was about to say "IF BAKER STREET ISN'T HERE I WILL SMACK SOME ONE!" but its here so its kool
me too
Careless Whisper and Baker Street were rightfully #1 & #2.
Yea but no Tequila which is the greatest sax song and sax solo of all time!
Sir Lance Goodthrust More the reason for it to be on this list. Great sax riff and great sax solo!
WHERE TF IS EPIC SAX GUY 😡😡😡😡💔
this just made me remember my childhood listening to music over the radio in the 1990s and realizing the passion on the heart of music
This list is incomplete without Epic Sax Guy
No its not really good I tried to play and got on my first go
+nicolaas laubscher just cause its easy doesnt not make the epic sax guy a legend
yeah, but how is it impressive if anyone can play it? ;p
+Defitrios It doesn't have to look impressive to be considered good or sound amazing.
***** nah but seriously, he should at least get an honorable mention.
You can’t have a list of best saxophone riffs without Careless Whisper and Baker Street as #1 and #2😆
Not specifically a “pop song,” but Vangelis’ “Love Theme” (from the Blade Runner soundtrack), with Dick Morrissey on saxophone, deserves a listen. Perfect melding of synthesizers and saxophone.
"The gunner's dream" (from The Final Cut album, by Pink Floyd) features a heartbreaking tenor sax solo by Raphael Ravenscroft. And in "4:50 AM (Go fishing)" on Roger Waters' The Pros an Cons of Hitch Hiking there's a sublime alto sax piece by David Sanborn.
yes, Us and them missingdtoo
Could've at least given an honourable mention to the Epic Sax Guy.
Love that sax in Foreigner 4's Urgent! But Baker Street had to be number one. It's a masterpiece!
Paula G Whyte That Solo in Urgent was beautiful, and I’ve learned to play it, it’s just so good!
Although Careless Whisper is a very close 2nd
Paula Whyte.. You're so right about numero uno.
Foreigner is definitely underrated af
So far, sax player at Foreigner's Urgent is Mark Rivera... now playing with Billy Joel
Came here because I knew the riff in Careless Whisper, but not the song title or artist, and was trying to find it, so props to me for clicking the right Top 10 video on the first try.
I get goose bumps every time I hear Coleman Hawkins playing " Body & Soul " !!😂😂
Dang, I was almost mad when Careless Whisper wasn't number 1 but when I heard number 1, I felt ashamed. XD
+Redguy221 It's too easy there is no skill required to play that small motif it is not a solo same with bakerstreet because it is just a little idea (motif) used as a iconic recurring theme however is they ever had an iconic sax moments they would be at the top.
+Bob Marley I thought u were dead since when did u revive yourself? XD
Sirgamer64 The legend never dies peace bradda

+Redguy221 me 2
Lotta Love- Nicolette Larson, Candy Dulfer- Lily Was Here,Carole King-Jazzman, Quarterflash- Harden My Heart,Al Stewart-Year of The Cat,Sade- Smooth Operator, Billy Joel-Just The Way You Are, Average White Band- Pick Up The Pieces.
David Sanborn Lethal Weapon III soundtrack "It 's probably me" w/ Sting on vocals and Eric Clapton on guitar
I've been looking for this song (6:33) for 1 months 🥲. Thank you.
Thankfully Junior Walker made this list. His solo in "Urgent" runs more than 45 seconds, first mirroring the dynamic drive of the song, then fantastic improvisation. Unlike several solos listed here, Walker doesn't simply repeat a short phrase. He literally blows away other sax players. Certainly his solo surely outwails Ravenscroft's "Baker Street" solo!
It's my favorite on the list
The Logical Song is a song composed by Roger Hodgson, who became famous and indeed with the album Breakfast in America (Supertramp).
The reality and the truth is that Roger has a wide repertoire of songs filled with great Saxophone solo, in which Aaron Macdonald sublimely executed the composition.
Best of all is that today, we have Roger doing a great tour around the world, and we can see live a large part of the musical work created by this great talent in the history of modern music.
Sax solos in his great songs:
Breakfast in America, Give a Little Bit, Take the Long Way Home, It's Raining Again, Don't Leave Me Now etc ....
I will be in Germany this month August and September, to enjoy two of his live concerts, a privilege, an experience, pure magic !!
Hey Cándido Pérez, agree with you and it is a "small World" .. seeing Roger Hodgson in Germany too, this week :-) !!
Hi Erik Tresler, perhaps we can see in some of the shows of Roger in Germany next week !! :) ... Best Regards from Spain.
+Cándido Pérez Dad got me hooked to Supertramp around 4 years ago. I had the opportunity to watch two of their shows here in Brazil. God, it was so perfect.
+Cándido Pérez I seen Roger and Aaron 2 years ago. He sounded just like 1979 with his voice and sax by Aaron. It was the concert of my life. I paid $8.00 to see them at Artpark in Lewiston, NY. What a thrill.
+JuniorHoppy - Hey !! I'm sure you enjoy a great show of Roger Hodgson, now begins the tour 2016. I hope that people who have not yet had the opportunity to see it live, to attend any of them, and those who know him, sure repeated. The best time to enjoy one of the "big" talents and composers in the history of modern music, live, a luxury !!
wheres epic sax guy?
+♋NightcoreღIsღForever♋ i know right?
I consider the sax solo in Billy Joel’s New York State of Mind one of the greatest of all time. I think it should deserve at least an honorable mention...
That moment when you find the song you’re looking for before the video even starts. 👍
I find a lack of Epic Sax Guy disturbing...
Chris Aita Yeah, can't believe they left that one out :)))
Its ridiculous. Epic sax guy is a legend
Yeah i have made few videos using the awesome infinite loop. Is like everyone has actually seen or hear something with the epix sax guy!!! Not even a honorable mention?
Yea i'm sad too. I miss dat hip movement
Chris Aita I clicked on the video while thinking "epic sax guy has to be #1". Read your comment. Bye.
The #1 song could be nothing else.
Are you forgetting the sax bit at the end of Shine on you crazy diamond parts 1-5
^I was saying the same thing. Plus "Old and Wise" by the Alan Parsons Project.
What I expected to be on top, happened to be on second place. But #1 is also a classic tuna, brings memories with it so I don't mind it being first that much...
No dave matthews? A top ten list that includes sax, but no dmb? Clearly they have never heard them before
Your #1 and mine are in agreement.
There are many good sax riffs on the Motown hits of the 1960s & 70s.
Not me needing this video to remember Last Friday Night 😭
where was Robbie Rotten
Its a trumpet not a sax
OCTAVIO CONTRERAS no it's a sax
+OCTAVIO CONTRERAS he played a sax
WE ARE NUMBER ONE HEY!!!!
Seems to me very much alive.
Where is Epic Sax Guy?????😠
IM SAYIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
+Ethan Durant Epic No sax guy here dudes.. cuz we have Baker Street..
You when the guy from "Careless Whispers"?
Hazel O'Connor's 'Will you?" didn't even merit a HM?? That's sacrilege!! The Sax solo in this song is Eric, possibly after Baker Street, as the best Sax solo ever!!
Me and my brother have been mimicing a sax tune for a few days now. I remember hearing it when I was a kid. I searched and watched this vid in hopes to find what it was and sure enough... #1.... Thats awesome. Gave me a little proud tear to hear this song again.
The main sax riff on careless whispers is one of the sexiest pieces of music ever.
“Smooth Operator” by “Sade “´has this ultimate, especially SAX “smooth”!!!
Not too slow, not to fast just that powerful resonance it should have!
Agreed
I love the song, the sax and the bass are the two best bits of the song IMO
I swear by all-4-one has the best saxo solos that brought me to search for more
*Me:* 1:13 hmm, she's kinda cute.
*Video:* 1:14 deep starts singing
*Me:* 😐
How the hell are no Billy Joel songs on here!
Agreed
because he is the piano man not the saxophone man
ViperHD6 that makes no sense... billy joel had a band that had a sax player he should have been on here. if thats the case springsteen shouldnt have been on here bc he didnt have a band name either...
ViperHD6 too true
Cuz this channel makes bad top 10 lists
Not even an honorable mention for Your Latest Trick of Dire Straits?.. that sax solo is pure gold!!! But for me the best sax solo is Careless Whisper.. is the most sexy moment in pop in the eighties...
Juan Carlos Barbosa Para mi, Careless whisper y Your latest tick son lo mejor que he escuchado salir de un saxo fuera del jazz y bandas de bronce. Son hipnóticas esas melodías!
Not a single dave matthews band song? What?
Juan Carlos Barbosa That would not leave room for Katy Perry's masterpiece. Let's just feel good thinking about all the people who will enjoy "Last Friday night" for the next several decades. :)
Jonas Rosenven to be fair, it`s about the sax, not the song itself.
Jonas Rosenven to be fair, it`s about the sax, not the song itself.
Missed the best one from The Lost Boys movie. Sax Man. Nobody in human existence has owned the sax more!
This list can't be taken serious if it doesn't have "Lily was here" on it as one of the greatest saxophone hits ever. Written by David Stewart from the Eurythmics with Candy Dulfer doing the sax.
Like the great Prince once said, "If I want good sax, I call Candy".
"Lily Was Here" - Candy Dulfer w/ Dave Stewart
"Songbird" - Kenny G
thank you :)
came here because that one solo popped into my mind out of nowhere and i couldn't remember the song... going through your list i threw around 5 songs into my sax playlist just to find out the song i was looking for was your no 1... understandably ;)
THANK YOU!
I had the same song in my head and came here looking for it too haha
All of those mentioned here are great players for sure. However, may I suggest that you check out the recorded work of Dick Morrissey. Dick played with If, Morrissey Mullen Band, and worked as a session player with Shakatak, Average White Band, and also lead his own jazz quartet. A superb player, with maximum tone and technique, and zero ego. Lovely guy - I knew him well - and wonderful player. May he rest in peace.
I've been humming "Baker Street" for weeks but couldn't remember the name of it. This video was a lifesaver 😂
Why isn't Clarence Clemons number 10 through 1? there is no one else . RIP Clarence
Love Clemens, but Phil Woods & Alto Reed stand out too
I said the same thing. I'm cool with Careless Whisper being on the list as it IS iconic. But otherwise... the other 9 should be Clarence Clemons. There just isn't a sound like his.
Jr. Walker all day!
Edge of Glory belonged at 9. Just about all the other songs on the list are classics. Born to Run should of been 1 or 2. A little higher at least it's in the top 3 though. Jungleland at the very least should of been an honorable mention.

MAAAN I WAS LOOKING FOR THE BAKER STREET ONE, BUT I DIDN'T KNEW ITS TITLE!!! SO I STUMBLED UP IN THIS VIDEO AND FOUND IT FINALLY AND IN 1ST...
Exactamente lo mismo que tú.
Hay que anotar el nombre.
My top 3 is:
3: Careless Whisper
2: Baker Street
1: Your Latest Trick
I can't believe 'Your Latest Trick' is not even here.
'Will You' - Breaking Glass - Hazel O'Conner & Wesley Magoogan
Yep - trying to learn that at the moment!
Should have been number one or two
21st century schizoid man puts all of these to shame, especially in terms of technique and originality. A mindblowing piece.
When Careless Whisper plays something dirty is gonna happen
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
YOU GOT THAT RIGHT!!!!!! 💖😂👍🎷
I listen to it all the time (okay, not all, more like once every month or so) , and nothing dirty happens.
@@darklordthomaspie6293 I was just kidding, I do like the song though. It's very smooth.
@@Dragontamer135 Very true. It is quite the smooth song indeed. Sometimes I wonder if it would qualify as Yacht Rock- but it's certainly got Smooth Jazz/Sophisti-Pop elements
I was looking for Baker Street but I didn’t know its name. Thank you so much!
I adore these songs, masterpieces (especially "Baker Street"! 😍) But i missed from this video Glenn Frey-You Belong to the City, and Chritopher Cross- Arthur's Theme (Best that you can do.) 🥰 I can't get enough from this two songs! 🎶🎷
glenn frey is so fucking good
I would have been upset (or shocked) if Baker Street wasn't at number 1. So glad that it is; that solo gives me goosebumps every time.
A lot of people have never heard Hazel O'Connor's "Will You?" that features a two minute soulful sax outro. It's epic.
agreed, i loved Wesley Magoogan's sax on that song
Agree with both of these comments. I posted it, too. Look out for "These Days Are Gone" by Spear of Destiny, from album One-Eyed Jacks.
Exactly why I came to this video. But not here...
Can't believe it wasn't included.
Dire Straits - Latest Trick, should 100% be in the top 3. 👌
That INSX song is what brought me to this video :)
Ahh, Baker Street IS at number one! I was afraid about the remainder of the list when I heard Lady Gaga.... (ughhh!)
OMG THANK YOU!!!!! I also feared Baker's Street wouldn't be number one. I'm so glad it was. But why the hell was Lady Gaga included? And Katy Perry for that matter? There were other songs featuring the sax 🎷 that was way more popular with longer staying power... Well over 20, 30 and even 40 years compared to these two songs which are less than 10 years old. 😒. (Also, I never heard 👂 the track from M83, either. Thank goodness it was just an "honorable mention".) 😂
@@robynsegg Maybe because it featured Clarence Clemons. And maybe because the Katy Perry featured Kenny G. It was like those singles had twice the star power.
@@robynsegg Thankfully Baker Street was Number 1 though.
@@slojinPA If it was about featuring Clemons, they totally botched it, especially the way they mentioned Jungleland as an afterthought when talking about Born to Run. No knock on any of the others listed, but nothing touches Jungleland. NOTHING.
@@robynsegg go listen to it and stop acting like it's bad when it's one of the most acclaimed songs of the last decade
WHERE IS "YOUR LATEST TRICK" FROM DIRE STRAITS?
atumfritu honestly only watched this video to see if 'your latest trick' was on here.
And " GOING HOME"?
This. Honestly i don't understand why people don't know about Your Latest Trick.
Yep, was also looking for Chris White...
Finn Pangrazio me too! Love the band...
I'd put Jungleland as my favourite sax solo. Something about that solo has always torn at my heart.
Surely Candy Dulfer, Lily Was Here, has GOT to be on the list. Number 2 behind Baker Street for me.
Logical song (Roger Hodgson) a personal fav!! Roger's songs are a thrill and his other songs from the 'Breakfast in America' album: Take the long way home, Child of vision, Lord is it Mine plus of course the catchy title track which I love singing aloud ♥ ♩ ♪ ♫
