Question: Been a listener of your Q&A for sometime now and I hope my question gets to be read. My questions is with the ME Andromeda coming, taking the plot instead of going to Andromeda galaxy how about returning from the Andromeda galaxy in their return trip by humans during the golden age unscathed but rather transcended and found out that human civilization regressed to such a state is unfathomable to them. Devised a plan of reasserting itself that would only be realized in the present Warhammer 40k lore? How would they react to that to all those involved?
P.S. They had arrived during the God Emepror's Great Crusade.
Question: So the Eldar are engaging in straight up Necromancy now?

Thank you for the update; as much as I love the Astartes content I also like the Eldar ^^ a part 2 or 3 would be a must watch.

I'm certain they will do extended books that go into further detail of each Gathering Storm book. From what I gather many are the folk that wanted a forward push into the story and also fresh models such as SOB, Inquisition,Adeptus Mechanicus,Avatars,Unification of the Eldar(Aeldari), Cypher, A new Greyknight,and a Primarch. Factions that you could only read about now officially have models: Black Gaurdians, The Fallen. What's not to like? Sure it'd be nice if other factions soon get more models and lore, but imo this is not a bad start.
Yea I agree this seems to be a "start" for the next edition which will (hopefully)s include allot of those fresh models.

Question: What are the emperor's biggest contributions to mankind besides making the astartes? Does the lore note any big technological achievements of his? Surely over the millennia he left his mark; the question is does the lore capture any of it...

Not sure what to think of this book.. doesn't add much beyond 'so you bought one army, now buy two more', a couple of rules and one or two characters. And it is prior to when everyone expects 8th ed which would presumably change a lot of rules (meaning this one will just start behind the 8-ball already and stay there like chaos has been since.. since.. *cries a little*) Neat lore though and potential foreshadowing.
On that note, as far as future episodes... I can't seem to find anything/much on
* chaos renegades (the IG renegades in 40k),
* eldar corsairs,
* whether or not individual daemons (not counting greater daemons / heralds) are supposed to have any kind of sentience and individuality or are they more like beasts that eventually can develop sentience (become heralds)
* if there are any armies out there besides the dark eldar / corsairs that are pretty much chilling, trying to stay out of politics, and generally do their own thing?

That what novel are for, hope theirs at least three to cover each gathering storm book, if there are any novels.

Still not sure why they made Ynnead like Slaanesh, with the androgynous body. Why not just make a female goddess for a change? >.< I suppose a God does not even need a gender, but still!
The models creators discussed it (there's a video of them talking about his/her/its creation on the Warhammer 40k youtube) apparently it's based on both daemons and the androgynous of the Eldari bodies which are very similar between their males and females. There has also been discussion that this new "god" is actually a Slaanesh daemon due to far seer Eldrard that created him/her/it wasn't able to properly completed the ritual and was shit on by the deathwatch halfway through.

ghersh-one or whatever your nickname is... you should be more able in using the voice... you keep a "flat" voice for minutes and minutes... Try to use more variations in the voice or the pace you read / sum up the lores... Otherwise you will make us all to sleep...
