What you need to make body scrub :
- Sugar (white or brown it doesn’t matter)
-----> 5 tbsp
get a fork and crush the sugar to remove the clumps as much as you can
- Colors (pigments) of your choice
mix them with the sugar
- organic oils (she used organic coconut oil and organic grape seed oil)
----> put as much as you want the consistency of the sugar to be
mix well
- Use oil from scents (she used lavender)
----> 5 to 7 drops
mix well
Then just put it into the container and it’s done!
ENJOY
@Nur_ Farihah yes ofc! you can do it without them
Can use purfem instead
@Sss Meme Thanks

Add a preservative like optiphen. If a customer dips their wet hands in the scrub it will mold.
I was thinking the same thing...
Yeah-
it was fine for me, idk
but i don’t like taking risks so i’ll add something
how much?
I wannna start a business n do something different other than lashes n lipgloss so I might do this in some care packages and I wanna do something that don’t cost a lot maybe this is the one
Totally! remember to just work hard and there's always a community for whatever you are offering! Also, remember to do all the research you can! I hope I was of some help and I wish you luck!

if you are going to sell this , use a preservative for a body scrub (may not be necessary for lip scrub). wet hands in the scrub will attract bacteria and other gross things so definitely use a preservative.
YES! 100% agree! Especially do research depending on ingredients and what’s allowed in states/countries! Totally forgot to add that info this video!

Hi!! Yes, go all out with the sugar and olive oil. The cinnamon is also good for a cellulite scrub but don't put too much of it especially in case of allergic reactions. I think I answered your question in another comment you put! Thank you!

Hi! Love the video! Every time I make my sugar scrub, it is extremely oily. How are do you assure your scrub is not too oily?
Hi! This can sometimes happen due to the oil mix or just over pouring! It’s ok! If you end up thinking it’s too watery or oily just keep adding little spoons of sugar till you think it’s fixed. If that doesn’t help maybe switch out certain oils! Example castor oil is super thick! So fair warning! Thx for watching and plz enjoy :)
Please im using kaolin clay can i do it your way cuz is really easy and is going to be for sale😊😊please help a sister
Can you use colored sugar sprinkles in your body scrub?
Hi! I never really tried it but I don’t know if that’s a good idea? You can only experiment but anything like that food related has dyes that stain and items that can cause allergies! Hope this helps!
@@SleepyBunn Ok, thank you for the feedback 🥰
I tried it and it works so well!
Can I use coconut oil for hair ? What’s it called & we’re can I get it at
Hello! Sorry for a late reply, these coconut oils can be ordered online under "cold-pressed coconut oil" or in the cooking sections! Hope this helps!
Hiii , we we use food colour instead of pigments ?? Please reply 💓💓
Hello! Please DO NOT use food coloring! It's not good for your skin and can leave it dyed! You don't have to add a pigment but if you want to, use something like eyeshadow! Anything that's cosmetic grade. It's much safer. Hope this helps! :)
Please don’t, it ruins the whole thing
😬what if i dont have any mica powder? What can i use to color the sugar?
Hi! So it’s not important to color it the scrub works fine without color but if you chose to color it, you could use some eyeshadows because those are cosmetic grade like mica powders! Just don’t use food coloring!

What is the difference between this scrub and Emulsifying Sugar Scrubs? In your opinion which one do people prefer Traditional scrubs or Emulsifying scrubs?
So emulsifying sugar scrubs used things like waxes and is definitely better for more of a business scrub or a extra hard working homemade scrub! But I would say for everyday ppl who don’t wanna spend or take too much time the recipe I use is definitely easier! It’s simple ingredients and fast process. I hope this kinda answers your question! If not please let me know I’ll try to add this info into my next video!
So I’m tryna make a business to sell to everyone. Do I have to use the emulsifying sugar scrub or can I do it way

Could I use food dye, will it stain? (Not for personal use)
Hello! Please don't use food dye especially if it isnt for yourself! It stains and can even cause skin reactions! Preferably use a makeup pallet as a cheap diy alternative. If you are selling please do research whats available in your country/state!
What are those colors called you put in like those blue and green color is called , so that I can search 😁😁 😍 well loved it thanx it's really easy
Hi! Those colors I put in are mica powders you could buy online, but you could use anything like eyeshadow as long as it’s cosmetic grade. Just please no food coloring! So search mica powders or cosmetic grade powders! Hope this helps :)
@@SleepyBunn thanks
Hi! This scrub is amazing!!!! Can't wait to try it! One thing, if I want to add preservatives, which one to use and how much to use?
Hello!! Thank you I’m so glad you liked it! I would say if you don’t or can’t use a preservative to use a air sealed right container away from the water. Can last you to a month. If it’s a preservative I would say do a bit more research but I’m remaking this video this week with more info on that!!
@@SleepyBunn thank you! I'm excited to see the new video! Also, please do mention about the preservatives since I generally use scrubs and keep them in the washroom. So high chance that scrub may get in contact with water.
Thank you for your time! 😊
Can you add different olis ?
Hey what preservatives shall l use. Please tell me. I want to make for selling. And how long will it last after adding preservatives.
Hi! So I can’t really say for sure about either of these cause some states/countries allow certain chemicals. So definitely do your research about what’s allowed and works in your area!
Can we use vanilla extract for the scent (im making this for my body not my face :)
Hello! I can't say for sure, but I wouldn't recommend it as it has a sort of dark tint and kinda sticky. Craft stores sell flavors and scents so maybe try those!!
do i have to use the podwer or do i not need then
Hi!! You don’t have to use any mica powders it’s just to make the scrub look pretty or for some glitter on the skin! The scrub works just fine without any pigments!
@@SleepyBunn Ok thanks im making this for my moms birthday
@@ariella2828 Aw ofc! I’m glad it was of some help! Good luck!! 🙃🙃☺️
@@SleepyBunn Thanks! im making it right now you got a new sub 😌
Hey does the pigments make the scrub shimmery on your skin?? I tried making my scrub with pigments and it left a lot of shimmer😕. And do you have any tips on how to remove it??
Hey, thanks for your question! The pigments vary depending on what you buy, some have shimmer some don't! It's best to find ones with not a lot of shimmer if that's not what you want, you can find them on Amazon and local craft stores. MAKE SURE ITS COSMETIC GRADE! If you need removing I would try dish soap I used PALMOLIVE or possibly washing with normal soaps, if not alcohol. Hope this is of some help, if not feel free to dm me on my socials!
Elysian Vxbes or okay thanks I’ll try it
What about a preservative for if people get water in it. That’s important
Hi! Yes it is! I didn’t use one in here as these can be more as a little self care diy or lat minute gift but definitely invest in some preservatives if selling!
Hey! I know I'm late but I really wanted to know like if I don't want any colour will it be fine to use no colour at all? Also is
grapeseed oil necessary? 😀
Hi!! Using no color at all will not cause any changes! It’s just to make it more pleasing to the eye and more fun! If you really wanted to you could use eye shadows! Grape seed oil isn’t necessary as well but it’s just a extra option of coconut isnt enough!
@@SleepyBunn Alright tysm!!
What was the name of the godlish one u put in before the oil
I know im late to this but can I use olive oil and coconut oil with no pigment?
Hi! I'm sorry I didn't respond sooner, yes you can use those without pigments the pigments are not that important and it's more for aesthetic, it works perfectly fine without it!
Can we sell this?? How long it last?? And also do we need to keep in refrigerator everyday??
Hii! Thanks so much for your question! Hope I can help!
So I would definitely check with your state/country rules on if you can sell them! Everywhere is different! That also applies to using certain preservatives that can keep the scrub lasting longer! I know something’s in California can’t be used in let’s say Texas or Florida or New York so definitely do some research! In this video I used no preservatives and I kept it in the bathroom and it lasted a month at most before anything molded. This depends on container and condition of its area and space. I’m sure you can refrigerate it too tho!
Will baby oil work
Can I use sugar/brown sugar, body wash, vegatable oil, and maybe a lil honey?
All of that seems to work well besides the vegetable oil! Try olive or coconut! :)
@@SleepyBunn ok! I'm going to make it for my mom while she is at work! Thank you for responding so quickly 😊
I don’t have pigment but don’t want it boring. What can I use?
Hi great question! If you have eyeshadows you can scape some off the top with a fork and add it into your scrub. Just be sure not to use food coloring!! Good luck!
@@SleepyBunn thanks! I’m actually buying some tommorow and was gonna compare them :) also can I use vanilla extract for smell? Or will it be sticky?

Question can we use Omni oil instead of the oils you’re using will that still work

hii! I really love this recipe! thank you so much! But I have one concern; maybe your should use a different colorant than mica powder because the companies that manufacture them have child labor and abuse. There are a lot of other options and I think you should look into some :)

Hi!! No it’s not important at all! It’s just to give your scrub some color and glitter but your scrub will work just perfectly without it!! You could also use eyeshadows if you really want some but its totally ok to not have some!!
@@SleepyBunn thank you so much this video is literally the best
@@kashvi_kh I’m glad!! A extra tip is if you get lots of strawberry bumps add in some baking soda!
its really great and good but dont use mica
Yeah! The mica was optional it works just fine without it
Hey! What's the shelf life?
Hello! I cant say for sure as it depends on location and container, but mine lasts about a month when in the bathroom! Definitely just gotta try it out and see what works with you, unless you choose to use a preservative.
Great video thanks for sharing👏🏾👏🏾
Can you use food colouring please replie
Hello! Sorry about the wait of the reply- PLEASE PLEASE do not use food dye! It’s really bad for your skin. You can house cosmetic glitters and pigments as they dint hurt your skin and sometimes leave even a better glow!!
