add soap if you want to make a soapy scrub ( i use castil soap or black soap)
add pigments and colors

I just wanted to point out that i love how you mentioned that almond oil can cause nut allergies which you must keep in mind when giving the item to someone or selling it better options would be avacado oil or olive oil since coconut oil does harden depending on the temperature so it can be rough on skin in that case and i wouldn't reccomend that as appose to helping with anxiety and depression im sure it has a lot of uplifting qualities but if you do struggle with mental health you should always seek professional help and a little known fact for ALL sugar scrubs even if you add any other exfoliant with the sugar is that most will expire within a 6 month period as to just using salts which are natural preservatives which will last you 1 - 2 years at most ❤ love this video just wish measurements were included for people who might be beginners

How long is the validity of this product?
That could be used as a bath salts as well.
You should add a preserver because some people might get water in the components when they use it in the shower or bath and that can cause bacteria. Also use glass when making products because plastic is toxic.
I just checked you added the salt so you don’t need a preservative be sure to always add vitamin E to this formula and always use glass..🥰🥰

Hi.. I just want to ask.. Since your product is a sugar product and you put it in a jar, which most probably it will be in contact with water, how you make sure it won't go moldy after the 1st use..? Tq! ❤️ I'm curious coz I want to make my own sugar scrub but mold is my biggest concern right now.. 🤭
If there is no preservative then yes you must keep it out of contact with water. If you are unable to do that then you need to add a preservative which you can get off Amazon.
Just google preservative that can be added to homemade products 🤗🌞

Hey, if you want to add a preservative you will add it at the end. The preservative I use is luecidal sf and you use it at 2% of the weight of your product. But there are a range of different ones that you can use. Do some research to see which one will work best for you to work with. Hope this helps.

Hey! I’m pretty sure you can. It just might come out a different consistency. You can always play around with the recipe to how you would like your scrub to be.

Hello, the most important thing is to just be consistent and network whenever and wherever you can. Trust the process love, it’s not going to happen over night. To start off selling to close friends and family is a good start. But you should look into Creating a website and promote that, so that people can see your products thru there, because realistically no one wants to go through messages to buy products from someone. Yes, vitamin E is a good preservative it is also used to preserve things like cereal (:
@@nadiaangel2794 Vitamin E is not a preservative. It's an antioxidant. It prevents/delays rancidity. That being said, this particular product doesn't technically need a preservative because it's anhydrous. I still use a preservative in my anhydrous products because I sell them and prefer to err on the side caution. I use Phenonip in anhydrous products.
