As a single dad of 5 kids. Two with autism. I had to quit my job to be home for the kids. Especially my son who has severe autism non verbal. Daycare won’t take him so as any good day would do I quit my job and now as you would guess I’m broke. So I started woodworking to try and make a dollar to survive. I came across your video one day and haven’t looked back. I follow your videos like a lesson plan and write down ideas you share and I build them and post them up for sale. I built my wife a kitchen island for our small kitchen. I cut a bunch of old hardwood from fallen tree limbs into 1" square strips. I made a brick pattern out of it on a piece of 3/4" plywood and then burned it. It looked so good!
I can’t wait to see how much profit I can make from all the projects you have shown. If I saw your videos sooner in my life I would have never wasted my life on the normal 9-5. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I appreciate you brother

I made a bunch of the candle lanterns once. I have about 50 of them at a craft show and a drunk guy fell on my table and broke all but 6 of them. Sheriff made him pay for them all.

Hello Daniel, I just started watching your video, and I have learned so much. I tried to make a box joint jig. It came out nice, but my fingers are very tight what can I adjust to make them fit a little easier. Your help would be great.
Take a business card width off of the piece that is attached to the jig that gives your spacing . It takes a few times to really get the little piece just right , or if your piece is stretched to the jig and is moveable just lightly tap it towards the kerf of the blade ! I hope that makes sense
I’ll never sell out , the only thing I do is put links to the tools I use in my shop . And not getting paid for any of that , I’ll never do brand deals mark my words

Y of u could do bevels on the top before you put them together drill holes put the rope through it tie it up. Then burn and stain. Keep it up buddy.
