    Just wanted to let you know (to whoever is doing it...), THANK YOU for keeping Ginger's channel alive. I purchased an album featuring this tutorial many years ago and I am just now getting a chance to put it together. Crafters are still enjoying Ginger's projects. RIP Ginger. We miss you.

    Ginger I have to say that I just love you! You don't go so fast that someone can't follow along, you don't make us sit through real time taping or gluing, and the lighting is always perfect! Great job!

    Hi Ginger, I wanted to tell you that I completed a book from this tutorial. I started the book when you put the tutorial out (made the cover, pages and binding). I was busy so I never finished it. But I went to an all day crop at Scrapbook Cafe, by my house, and finally completed it this weekend with the Valentine paper from Simple Stories. Everyone loved it!! I told them all about your fabulous tutorials and I'm not surprised that some of the ladies have seen your videos already. But the book came out so cute, perfect Valentine's Day gift for a friend. Thank you for investing so much time for us. I make your books all the time :)

    These are addicting and you’re a sweetheart for teaching us so patiently and completely how to make this fabulous album. I’ve made 3 in less than 2 weeks! They practically put themselves together! Thank you for sharing your talent with us! I just love your how-to tutorials ❤️💕 Hugs from Cathy in Illinois 🤗

    I've taken a class in bookbinding and watched many, many videos on making these types of memory/scrapbooks and I wanted to tell you that you are by far the easiest teacher to follow. I've had more "Aha" moments watching your video than I've learned in all the other hours I've spent trying to figure this out. Thank you so much for taking the time to video this and share it! The acronym 'TFS" just didn't seem to do my depth of gratitude justice.
    Another thing I realized is that this version, with the tabs, of a memory book is A LOT of work. That being said, you explain it clearly and concisely or at leadt the way my brain works because it clicked for me. I'll be subscribing and watching more of your channel. Cheers.

    Ginger, I love your videos! I was happy to see you using Tamra Merrill's technique of applying the 1/4" ScorTape to the edges for spacers. I've been doing that for quite some time as well after seeing her video showing it. It really does help give extra hold to the album. Looking forward to seeing Part 2 of this video, love your work.

    Hello Ginger - This is Robyn. First let me say that I Love, LoVe, LOVE your mini albums and tutorials. Your work is beautiful and you make the instructions fun and easy to follow along. Over the months, I have made a few of your scrapbook designs, and would love to video record them to share with you and my friends. Typically, when I make cards and other small projects, I take photos and stream them together; however that is not ideal for showing off the details and interactive elements of a mini album.Can you please provide guidance on how you create your UA-cam videos and the equipment that you use? At the beginning of your Graphic 45 File Folder Mini Album Tutorial Part 1 video, there is a still shot of the base of a tri-pod, an iPad and some round blue device. I sincerely appreciate your assistance. Warm wishes, Robyn

    Ginger, thank you for sharing your vidéos witch are fabulous. I wonder what you used kraft paper in A4 size. They have the most pliable that cardstock "bazzill" that we use en France and also the thickness of the chipboard sheets.
    Thank you - Congratulations for these beautiful albums. I looked all projects.
    merci merci merci
    Sorry for my English (for videos i come back lot) LOL

    Sorry to interrupt, but just started watching and was wondering what paper did you use at the beginning that you scored them all at 5 1/4, or does it matter, as long as it matches all of your papers ?

    • @mysistersscrapper
      @mysistersscrapper  8 років тому

      I used the Kraft cardstock which is what I am using for my base pages. You can use whatever color of cardstock matches the design paper you are using.

    • @mysistersscrapper

    What else can I use if I don't have the envelop punch

    • @mysistersscrapper
      @mysistersscrapper  8 років тому

      You can just score the papers and then add separate file tabs from a die cut if you want.

    would it be hard to add more folders for a total of 12? I'm expect a little girl and I am looking for a craft book for her first year

    • @mysistersscrapper
      @mysistersscrapper  8 років тому

      Nope you could add 6 more hinges.. Keep in mind that it would double the size of your spine and if you want your hinge to be one continuous piece you would need to piece it together. You could always just make two books.. One for her first 6 months and the second for months 7-12. 😀

    Even though I leave enough space between my chipboard, my cover always cracks and tears. Do you know why it would do that? :(

    • @mysistersscrapper
      @mysistersscrapper  8 років тому +1

      What brand of card stock do you use? I only use Recollections from Michaels.

    • @TinaBLike
      @TinaBLike 8 років тому

      Not sure, I buy from the big three, Joann's, Michael's and Hobby Lobby. I'll make a point of using Recollections next time. Thanks for the response! I greatly admire your talent! You are an inspiration!!

    • @mysistersscrapper
      @mysistersscrapper  8 років тому

      +Tina B well I do know that I haven't had any cracking with the solid cardstock from Michaels. It comes in a pack of 50 and its Recollections brand.

    • @TinaBLike
      @TinaBLike 8 років тому

      Great! Just bought a pack. Looking forward to making another mini after I get done sewing all the purses I promised for Christmas! Yikes!

    • @sharon94503
      @sharon94503 2 роки тому

      All paper and cardstock has a grain to it. If you bend it lightly in one direction, then in the other you will feel some resistance on one of the sides...that side goes against the grain and can crack.

    I have a 12 X 12 pad I'd like to use. How would I calculate the measurements? With minimal waste?

    • @mysistersscrapper
      @mysistersscrapper  4 роки тому +1

      Elmeda Gemes Good question. The measurements would be the same. I usually cut the longer measurement first. But to be honest, if you have a directional paper sometimes it doesn’t work out better by cutting the larger measurement first.
