Thank you for another great tutorial. Your finished projects always make an already beautiful paper line even more magnificent. Did you do a tutorial for the original 4 x 6 album as well or is it possible to get the measurements for that size album? I would like to try one of each size.
Yes I did a tutorial for the 4x6 size.
Hi ginger, were can i buy the white bone folder your using? also great job your album are amazing.... thanks for the tutorial. that is sweet of you.
Great tutorial - I have it all done except I don't see how the covers and spine are assembled, only how they are cut. is there another tutorial for this? Thanks.
Holy crappola but that is stunning. Please can you share which size paper pads you used for this one and if you used the other 6x6 matching pads in the plains and patterns..I am going shopping for this as soon as I find out what I need to buy
I used the 12x12 paper pad as well as the 12 x12 patterns and solids. I also used the journaling and ephemera cards and the chipboard .
Thanks for the tutorial
Great tutorial. Thanks Ginger. One question though. Could you use the bottom of the large middle pocket to attach to the hinge instead of the small pocket? Is there a reason not to? I am just concerned about the weight of the page over time and use pulling apart at the smaller pocket.
Yes you certainly can. I just wanted to create the project so it was similar to the original. You can do it however you want.
Ginger. I watch u so much I can't remember which video you mentioned Angela Beavers in but I live 30 minutes away from her shop and was just there last Wednesday for class. I am in a group of ladies who make cards and mini albums and she always has the graphic 45 which I love. Oh well I guess u could say I love all paper! It amazes me with all your albums you make. Thank you so much for sharing with us .
Emily Burbage ..thanks! Yes I got the opportunity to meet Angela at a trade show. She's darling!! We took a class together. I told someday I'm going to have to come and check out her store!
Hi Ginger, Love this layout for the pages. One quick question, is SU cardstock to thick to use to make this? thanks for sharing!
I think so.. It would be better to use a lighter weight cardstock for the base.
How do you decorate the add on pieces since you taped them together before you put the paper on?
Thanks Ginger!
Love this book, where did you find paper? Is the name safari adventure?
Terra Moon Thanks, Yes it is Graphic 45 Safari Adventure. I purchased it at my local scrapbook store when the collection first came out a couple years ago.
Do you have video how to make the cover and spine for this book?
Kim Kingston It’s just wrapping the chipboard and add the hinge. If you need a refresher here’s my basic covers and binding tutorial.. ua-cam.com/video/axq9Kz0t6uQ/v-deo.html
My Sisters Scrapper thank you. I found this video. I have another question if I could ask here. I was looking at some of your graphics paper and would like to know which one which set would you recommend for Autumn themed album?
Kim Kingston If you want Graphic 45 then you could use Seasons.
My Sisters Scrapper ok I saw that one but I wasn’t sure. Thanks so much. I will go check it out.
do you have a tutorial on how you bound the pages?
The tutorial for the smaller version shows how to bind the pages. It's exactly the same for this larger version.
thank you for your prompt reply!
Hi Ginger, I made this album just as you described but have not put in into the the binding. Please describe how to do that ok??
Would love to finish it!! :-(
The tutorial for the smaller version of this mini album explains how to add the pages to the binding.
I noticed your adhesive that you can tear n it's a large tool - can you share where I can purchase it? Thanks.
Cindi Hanley I'm nit sure what tool you are asking about? Is it the teflon bone folder?
Is this the same concept as an album you did a while ago Thank yoh
