Great video man. Recently got into figure collecting mainly for anime resin figures and def agree with you on the whole value perspective of these cases. We're already dropping ludicrous amounts of cash for each figure, might as well spend a fraction of those for each case

Yesterday I said on you're video, that it's highly unlikely that I'll get a Moducase, in part because of the stress of putting one together. Then looking at this finished product, I'm thinking, my custom Spidey and custom Green Goblin pieces that I've PO would look sweet in there together, along with some art prints. Think I'm reversing course and gonna get one. God keep me calm when I have to put it together. 🙏
Very interesting video. I'm torn between the cost vs quality. They look absolutely amazing. They make the statues look more like art pieces in a gallery. The lighting is fantastic! But damn... that price adds up quick. They do seem worth the price. Just out of my range though. Thanks for the vid!
The assembly video wasn't a complete disaster. Especially when it will help me to avoid my own disaster LOL. Sweet review these Moducase videos have been suuuper helpful. Can't wait for your room tour.
I think you made a good decision my friend because I have custom built display cases that are all glass and stationary to the floor and wall for stability reason. The con if I decided to sell my house they would come with the house because it'll be a pain in the azz to take it down the way it's done. If they had these cases available at the time I got my display done I would've went this direction for sure. Sell home and take your diplay cases with you!!!lol
Ok I got your point with the led stripes. Makes sense...but I will still go with spotlights. My plan is to have an 8 statue setup in a 150x80x80cm cabinet with 12 spotlights and have more than 1 spotlight to highlight each. Some from above some from below. I hope it will come out how I think it should...:D As always, thanks for the vid! Great job mate. If you're on holiday, enjoy!
Interesting concept for display. Just keep in mind the felt bottom, while it looks great, will leave marks from the statues. A bit like when you move your bed off carpet, it leaves the outline. I've got heaps of statues I need to get off the floor so I'm looking for ideas at the moment. I think shipping to OZ won't be cheap.
Been humming and hawing over what to do, seen videos on ikea stuff which ive seen some really bad results on, then moducase, after this video ill save up and go for moducase. I have 2 grail pieces atm that I really want to show off, prime1 fugitive predator and the t800 endoskeleton and those would look superb in those boxes. Have loads more on order so will need to get a super nice setup. Checked prices and yeah, pricey, but you pay for what you get (my rule anyways lol). Great vid!
with the Max 70 you can pay a little extra and get 6 spot lights instead of just 4, actually with all the cases you can spend 10-15$ extra and get more than just 4 spotlights
I plan to buy a single DF60. Sure it isn't cheap (imo) but I have a single $1,300 figure coming. It's the most I've ever spent on any single collectible and I want the case 100% airtight, so I figure it's worth it. There is no way I would openly display it because I have had too many "touchy feely" guests and pets that break parts off in the past, not to mention the dusting nightmare.
If you have multiples of these beside each other, attached, can you take off the side glass so it’s open through? Can the units lean up against the wall flush?

I use a 72inH 36W 16D wire Shelf gloss black its nice and a endal storage shelf I just bought I'm painting the shelf boards red a buying a 6 pack round leds 24.99. Good stuff! I definitely need to buy some of these for what I currently have and what I have on order. I have a spare room dedicated to gaming and collectibles that I’m working on but need to find a good way to display them in a case like that. I don’t want to just set it on the floor. Thinking of making custom shelving to get them elevated off the floor somewhat. Is that something you could show with your collection as far as what you have done when we get a grand tour?
I think those are good for statues but not for hot toys. Update: After looking at other reviews, these seem great for Hot Toys. Looking to buy some soon as I want to get rid of my detolfs.

Question. Why did you go with the DF series and not the Max series? I ask because I ordered the MAX2103 since I ordered some XM/Prime 1/4 and 1/3 pieces. I would think the extra strength would be future proofing the cases just in case you get some heavy pieces you want to swap out/in.
I actually have quite a few of both. You want to use DF for Premium Format and smaller otherwise they look lost in Max cases. For anything bigger, you have to go Max simply to make them fit.

Overall I think moducases are an awesome way to display your statues. They look awesome, light up well, and keep dust off (hopefully). One thing I don't really like is displaying stuff on the floor. A possible solution that would also solve the plug/gap problem would be to put them on top of cabinets. Just a thought. Thanks for the vid
Pretty new to statue collecting and just picked up XM white magneto. Thinking of getting a moducase for him but he’s like 30 inches tall so I’m not sure if I would have to get a custom. I love the white magneto and want the best display for him bc he’s going to the grave with me😂would he fit in a single cube because he’s huge?
I seen a review of these from Singapore and the owner or the guy that rep them was saying these where more for 1/6 models like hot toys or similar sizes.. they look nice but I seen how you have them set up with your throne pieces👍🏼. What’s the most you think it would hold . You think a quarter scale can be housed in 1? Given the weight and ect.. ? I see you had the hulk in one so height I see and width isn’t really an issue. But would you put that higher on another one of these cases?? Much respect ✊🏽...

The Xtreme Channel I’d love to show you my diorama setups I make. Ive made two predator ones that have sold now . There’s very few decent dioramas online and I think a good backdrop can really being statues to life. I plan to do the same with the prime 1 jungle hunter but for keeps 😛. Your video reviews really help me with my statue decisions. I want to get Dutch at some point too after seeing your review

So, I've decided to buy one or two statues less but display them safely ... and in a cool way which will make them stand out all the more.

I think they look very bulky with that black frame and poorly lit, not worth the price at all. Take a look at Vitrinexpo to see a better alternative, although I don't know if they deliver worldwide (note : I have no ties with them)

@@timonx11 oh man I was just about to order a bunch of DF60s and realized the inside is only 24" tall... I have a local store that will order off sideshow for me and I have points with them for discounts but the Max70 isn't on sideshow site
It’s been a year already the China virus screwed up shipping still waiting for my cases there in the LA somewhere on a ship for the past 2 weeks so maybe sometime in March idk over 3k in cases and still waiting lol funny I got 2 from sideshow 123
@@TheXtremeChannelMrX i was lucky I only lost $4000 worth of figures and lucky it wasn’t my statues. Mind you these where the reinforced 30kg moducubes. Rubbish product that will eventually fail due to cheaply made parts used. I had a contractor build me full room custom display cabinet that hold 500kg per shelf. Good luck.

A good option to have. I'll stick to my cabinet guy but you're right it's a great Idea and accentuates the beauty of your piece(s).

I said the same thing Danti Legacy, it looks amazing but these cases can scratch easy because it's made of acrylic.

this seems to be lite up very nicely with that strip light, but I think im going to go with the spot lights when I finally get some
Use the plug outlets designed for tv wall hangs. They inset about an inch just for this purpose
Also I ended up with a ton of pieces that went nowhere, I’m not talking double ups but bits that simply don’t go anywhere

Ok I will say that the Doc Doom and magneto box for 300. That is not bad. LED is def the way to go.

I wouldn’t say airtight but greatly reduces dust
I found the design great however the instructions were completely backwards and I found myself double handling things.

Juan Lara I don’t. Most won’t fit as it’s 28” tall and most 1/3 are around 30”+

Yeah.. they are pricey but remember if you have 3-4 statues in one you have $2-$5K inside of it.
