This has got to be one of my favorite builds. This boat awesome!
Ill be picking up a 1960 14 ft alumacraft f7 in about a week! I cant WAIT to get started building something like this!
That was awesome. I just got my boat that I used as a child( almost 40 yrs ago) amd have been wanting to do something like this so I can take my young kids out fishing. I would love to set it up just like this one since it the same size. Keep up the great work
Great build!!!
I've got an Alumacraft but it's much older. Its an F7 from the 1960s with a rounded stern and transom.
Salute @TBNation, I started watching this channel I can't stop. You guys are the best that have ever did it.
Appreciate it!
Love it, man! This is the build that inspired my 12'er!
I NEED those poles man. Absolutely stellar work. I bought a used good condition 16ft aluminum boat this year and would live to have a setup like that.
I really want to add some foam in the front but have no idea how to take the first step.
Alumacraft T14 SF I had one many years ago used it on Kentucky Lake. It would take waves better than many larger boats. And the 25 H.P. Mercury got me up and down the huge Lake very well.
Insane build love it. Can't wait to build my own very soon
this gives me inspiration that i can make my own boat better, i will need a much more open lay out but its doable, thanks
Dude those anchor poles are freaking AMAZING!
I am inspired! Just got a 1996 Gene 14 ft aluminium v hull jon boat. I plan to upgrade it and hope it turns out at least half as nice as the one in this video. My first one
This is my dream build...you guys are amazing.
Damnnnnnnn that boat looks badass! I wish i own a boat like that 😱. My 6yrs old son always wants to go fishing on the boat, i end up renting a skiff in our local lake. He enjoys it and makes me proud.
Wow. Great job on that! I would recommend putting a 25 on it so you can go faster and have more torque
Boat is sick. A lot of storage, steady comfortable platform. I'd fish on that all day.
I gave my boat to my brother 3 years ago. Unfortunately I've been depending on my friends to take me fishing. I pay for the launch, gas and food. Anything to get out fishing. I miss my boat.
He takes his kids and our friends kids. It's worth it to get the younger generation fishing
Where you live man. I’m in Texas I’ll take ya fishing for free
@@fossilcreekkennels1973 That's awesome. Thank you. I'm in northeastern Pennsylvania but I appreciate your kindness
Amazzzzzzzing job i just picked up a 17 ft verion of this with trailer for450 cant wait to get it looking like this thank u
Well I guess that answers my question about the shallow v and stability.
Absolutely awesome!
I wish I was closer to you guys!! I have a 12’ aluminum boat and my kids love fishing. I watch your channel for ideas but I’ve no idea where to start….
Cool video. And awesome little boat. God bless.
This boat looks great. One day I will do something like this.
I got a 1952 lone star in the pasture y’all just motivated my ass that rig looks good
I wish I had the patience to do all that work, but I have the same boat and just have it set up super basic, but very very stable boat
Amazing work
Awesome build
This really has me thinking about ditching my 14' pedal yak and investing in a tiny boat. My son is 2 and I'll want to start getting him comfortable on the water sooner rather than later.
I've got Lowe Craft 14 foot semi V sport, I've been modifying it for awhile now, I'm 71 years old, 6'1" 240 lbs and it's got a 15hp evinrude on it, by myself it will scoot, I just think I need a 16 footer because being my age it's a little harder to move around safely in it. Love what you did to that boat.
That is badass how he reels with his pinky and plays the action at the same time. I just tried to do that... not possible. Stud.
Freakin Awesome build!
I wish y’all made your own line of TBs!
Great build that boats awesome.
Dope video Mike.. Q&A question micro anchors vs power poles, pros and cons? How to figure out whats best for you?
Totally awesome fabrication!! Mad skills-- is there a live well in this build?
Sweet boat!
Absolutely beautifull!!!
Where is the final wiring and finished product im really interested to see how that turned out.
That is a awesome boat love it.
Man I love these videos 💙
got a hella built '58 aero craft 12' with a 2020 yami F15
tiny boats 4 life!!!!!
Exceptional!
That’s awesome, gotta buy a house and then a boat
A true inspiration
If I had the money after losing my job, I would buy that thing from you!
I would love to do this to my 14.5 foot sea nymph v hull but costs way more than I have hahaha
Wow very nice 🙌
Very nice 👍
Curious if you have an idea if how much weight your build added to the bare hull? I have a 14' boat, but I am really hesitant to add anything beyond a small casting deck as I am almost always in pretty skinny water.
WOW! Ive been wanting to by a used Boat to do a Tiny Boat Nation project , but i have no building or electrical skills what so ever lol
Wow now I'm thinking to build my 14 foot mirrocraft 4604
I just found yalls channel, I recently decided to use an aluminum flat bottom to make a bow fishing boat. Is this something yall have done? Any pointers
I've got a 77' 14 ft Mirro Craft what kit would you reccomend if went with pre made hatches
With the added weight of all the decking and stuff, what kind of speed are you getting with a 15?
Im curious what model this is as I literally just picked up a old alumacraft 14ft this afternoon
Do you have a How-To or a kit for these anchors poles. I say a different video but not from TB Nation. Any help will help. Thanks. Also, how would those holdbul in saltwater?
In middle of budget pimping my 08 alumacraft 10footer right now but not sure if I wanna do like everyone else an just make a bunch of storage compartments..
Spent the last 30 years working in a 14 ft Alumaweld jon with a 25HP Merc 2 stroke. Been wanting to upgrade to a jon capable of running duel 25's. A jon boat version of a center console.. sort of. What do you guys think?
Could you rock a 10hp motor in most of these builds or do you think that is too small? There are two lakes thaT I live near that has a 10hp restriction and I am thinking about doing one of these builds.
I’ve got a 1956 Montgomery ward sea king 14ft I’m converting, very similar shape
Nice job on the boat. What's the width. Looks narrow
How wide is the boat? I have a 14 ft v bottom and Idk if it would be stable enough to put a deck on. Mine is 62 inches wide in the middle
Really wanna try building a jon boat and I’ve got a good 16ft, but I don’t wanna chance ruining a 4th generation handed down boat
Nice!
Man nice little boat am 61 now and can’t fish anymore do to my back but I’ve been fishing so long I got started in Kansas back in the 60’s and had to stop about 4 years ago and I fished out of boats way smaller then that one I went Through about 7 boats and have been selling my fishing Equipment but I still have a 1958 Johnson3 hp motor I redid and am sad I can’t fish anymore to hard to get around 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hey I'm from Canada (Yukon) and love old fishing gear. I am 30 and just getting into it. Could I buy some old stuff?
any idea what the draft is?
i just remarked that there is an hydrofoil on the 15 outboard. It should help ti keep the nose down. Now I'm curious to know what you guys think of smart trim tabs? Do they work on that small of a boat?
could be a nice addition to the next project!
I wish I could afford an boat like this
I wish I could afford a boat😂
My Lund DLX is wider deep and longer than the Aluminuma Craft 14’ boat . Wish you could tell me best way to me to do your great modeling
Will those power poles be for sale?
How wide is this boat? I gotta build one
I need that boat
Just got a 1981 16 foot alumacraft that I’m starting to build. Just curious what do you think made this boat so stable? Was it all the foam or just the height of the deck you put in? I would like to have a really stable fishing boat like that, because my fishing partner is my 4 year old and I have another one on the way. Thanks! I enjoy watching and learning from your channel!
Thanks anyways.
Super clean build.. what is the life span of the poor foam b4 it becomes water soaked
Awsome.. thanks for the quick reply on that question.. my wife may divorce me but I'll eventually end up with a nice boat.
What is the purpose of the foam does it make it more buoyant? I have a 14’ lone star and I’ve had 3 200 lb guys in it but it sets to close to the water will the foam help give it more weight capacity?
the purpose of foam in a boat is to add bouncy if the boat ever takes on water, think of it as a life vest for your boat, a life vest doesn't make you lighter but will keep you from sinking.
Would this boat be ok with the 3hp electric motor you showed in another video
It would push it around 5-6mph
Whats the foaming for ?? Tho
Have you done any 14foot Grumman flatbottoms?
What was the original person and weight capacity?
How much does it weigh?
Are those homemade power poles ???
Do you think a 14 foot jon boat can have 2 people fishing on it? Thanks
Heck yes you can even fish 3 in a 14 foot
As you change my 14-foot aluminum jar
What are yo getting for top end speed with that small outboard and that boat?
The owner reported 25mph
Wow, thanks
I can only dream. I have to have a couple right. :-)
i just got a free boat tiny boat and i so wish i could do this myself
@@TinyBoatNation I'm taking pictures of my boat and emailing you all tomorrow. I've watched about 3 more of your videos and i think i maybe ready for that pro set up. 7 door will be more then enough for me.
Go simple, get it powered first (troll/outboard), fish it, see what you like/don't like. See what you need/don't need, then build it based off that.
why is there never a driver seat? the seat is the best upgrade of all time.
I am jealous
I have a 1962 Alumacraft 14ft.
The old Alumacraft hulls are incredibly stable for a narrow boat.
BTW,
What's your address so I can drop off mine for a little of what your boat's got?
Did you give to some one yet...??... if not I take it over... nahhh ... it's you tube... just for fun can't be real... 👍👍.. but hey it's a beautiful build..
WICKED!!!
Are you gonna do a video on the gen 5 framing? The video was so sped up I couldn't see anything you were doing. I actually have trouble seeing whats going on in most of the videos. I could really use an actual step by step framing video instead of sped up, quick cut and saying "Then we framed the live well, and then the rod locker, etc..."
The decals on the carpet is it vinyl?
@@TinyBoatNation thats awesome, thanx for the reply
link to the power poles
TBNation.net. search Royz shallow water anchors
Man he’s lucky 🍀
Michael Lopez, you rock man... I have a boat that might draw your interest... how do I email you some pictures?
Tiny Boat Nation I don’t have IG... and do not plan on ever having IG or FB
Need a bigger motor
How much do y'all charge to customize someone else's boat, similar to this build?
He doesn't do it.. but he sells boat in a box kits check out the website tbnation.net for the supplies and tutorials
What kit does this boat take?
Tiny Boat Nation so that $200 kit has everything I need just to frame it correct? I’ll need to either buy the materials or purchase another kit for the hatches and such? Pretty serious about this. I’m building the 14’ for my uncle and I just bought a ‘63 16’ crestliner admiral that I’m going to build for myself.
Tiny Boat Nation that 14’ Starcraft is nearly identical to this boat.
i want it
