You might remember an actress named Candace Bergen. She starred in a tv sitcom named, "Murphy Brown." Nothing wrong with that name. Your motorcycle. Name it whatever you want. So enjoy Murphy! And stay safe! 🏍🏍
Ah the joys of owning an older carbureted bike I had to replace my Petcock recently on my honda vtx 1300, I call my bike big red not very cool but that's all I could think of
@@RoadWorrierMoto I am sorry that I did not explain and make my message clear. I was simply trying to give you some comfort in naming your bike Murphy'
I have what WAS an 03 883 Screaming Eagle Sportster, now a 1200 S&S Hooligan. Harley has Iron Head, Shovel Head and others in that name group. So, as a Marine I named mine Jar Head. Seems fitting.
When you pull the choke if your bike is running right it should stall the motor. So if it just revs up that means its running lean or rich . Not sure which lol but that could be your issue.
Your bike sounds so sexy!! It took me several months to name my bike. :) I think Potato would be an awesome name. :D I love the name Murphy! Ever seen Interstellar? The girl's name is Murphy in that movie.. works both ways!
Road Worrier with Murphy's law ... Sounds like a perfect combination 😁
I do what I can. 😅 haha
@@RoadWorrierMoto Road Warrior Moto, how does the name "Black Beauty" sound to you? Is that a hopeful good nickname for a motorcycle?
Okies weird Dutchman in Australia here….just discovered you on the BBB podcast….loved the yellow check shirt
Aww thanks! It's my go to flannel, for sure!
The Spudster was just staring you in the face but Murphy is a good name. 🤘
For some reason I like “human-like” names for inanimate objects. 🤷♀️
Lol I like spudster
Yasss! I love when people name their toys, and Murphy is an excellent name. My fourwheeler's name is Eleanor lol :P happy riding!
Thank you! You too!
Murphy Brown was a strong, intimidating, and smart woman.
I’ll have to look her up!
I got a 2021 royal enfield interceptor glitter and dust
Those are absolutely beautiful bikes. Very smooth and reliable for sure! 😍
I think Murphy is a great name. Thanks for sharing the thought process. It's always interesting to witness how people thing through things like that.
Thanks! I’m just glad my process made sense. 😅

Definitely! Before my Himalayan, all my bikes were/are carbureted.
My bikes get names after a bit. Indian Roadmaster, Geronimo. Harley Road King, Captain Jack, Sportster 1200 Iron, Peanut. XS Eleven Special, Linda.
I love Geronimo!
FYI, from November 14, 1988 to May 18, 1998 there was a t v show staring actress Candice Bergen as the title character by the name of Murphy Brown.
Interesting. I didn’t grow up with TV, so I wouldn’t have known about this show either way. 😂

1000 point turn. Name it Austin.
Hey now, I ended up only needing three!
I’d call your bike Black Velvet.

Many people in UK call potatoes, SPUDS. I think that is a little more uniqe/original than a common old Murphy.
The sound of Spuds doesn’t sound like a nice name for a bike though. Murphy is at least a “name”.

Name it Larry
You know what? Larry is actually a pretty good name. Too bad Murphy has stuck.
@@RoadWorrierMoto Murphy is a great name and if it sticks its it lol Great videos keep them coming!!
Murphy is a good name for a bike ::que Drop Kick Murphy's video::
After all that just stick with Murphy, haha.
Curious, do you film in superview while riding?
Honestly, I don’t know 100%. Sometimes I switch back and forth, I’m not sure for this video.
I would have just called it spud
Spud has a harsh mouth feel. Sppppud.
Ive had my bike for a year, and I havent named it! Will take a couple of solo trips with my bike, and name her! Mine is a she!
A potato is also a SPUD
I just call my bike “Valkyrie” because is it’s given name… boring huh…Goldwing Valkyrie!
Bella for short I wanted to name my daughter bella

I haven’t seen that movie. I’ve had this bike since October, so I guess that’s a few months!
A Harley is a fashion accessory that has the potential to harm you: I think Bella Donna is suitable.
When I hear the name Murphy, I always think of Murphy Brown, and that's a female character. So definitely can be unisex.
It's a Harley
Name her "la prieta"
