    Hi
    I am getting 7C error code
    And as per your previous comments
    I might need to change motor for waterwall
    My dishwasher is 2 yrs old
    Is the waterwall parts are covered under Samsung 5yrs parts warranty ?
    And I would like to try your quick fix to put magnet
    Do u have video where exactly I need to put magnet?

    • @BreakFixRepair
      @BreakFixRepair  3 місяці тому +1

      I don’t yet but basically the magnets are supposed to let the sensor on the motor know the position of the vein. I’m not sure if it’s covered under warranty. You can certainly call and ask! I’ll be making a video on this replacement very soon.

    Hey, good morning! Dishes keep coming out dirty on both racks. Every time it ends its cycle the arm is in front of the unit. I found it off one time when we started having this issue and reattached it. Worked well for one time but now every time it’s up front and not washing good. Not sure what it could be. I pushed it back to the back last night and ran it and again this morning it’s up front again. Is there an exact spot it should be before starting the dishwasher to “reset” everything in a way? Not getting any error codes but also haven’t put it in diagnostics mode either as I don’t know. Any help would be appreciated!

    Hey man, your videos have been super helpful!
    I did this reset, and it will work for one diagnostic cycle, but then it will stop in one position and throw the 7c code again. If I reset it again, it will work for a cycle or two then fail again. Any ideas? Is there a sensor on this model?

    • @BreakFixRepair
      @BreakFixRepair  8 місяців тому +1

      First off thank you. Yes there’s a magnetic sensor at the “home” position that weakens over time. You can find a way to temporarily attach a stronger magnet to the underside of the water wall arm (the part that moves) so the sensor can pick it up. Or you could take the motor out (really bad day) and try to attach the magnet there. Or see if there’s any gunk in it as sometimes the seals leak from above. I’d say that’s probably what the issue is since it works occasionally then stops. What’s the exact model you have just for reference?

      @@BreakFixRepair hey thanks! It does seem like a sensor issue as the motor seems to be working fine (the vein moves). Model # is DW80R9950US

      My guess is that’s the problem. Let me know if you’re able to figure it out. I think those neodymium magnets work well for that problem

    I also have this code, but the arm is still attached to the grey bracket that moves the arm. The arm is stuck in the middle of the washer. It seems to move during some loads and not at all on others. Now the bracket will not move with the slow pressure you described. I've been able to move it a very small amount, but it makes loud clicking sounds and will not move to the back. Do you have any other suggestions?

    • @BreakFixRepair
      @BreakFixRepair  8 місяців тому

      If that’s the case I’d say it could be the motor stuck or need to be replaced. You may have to take the motor out and see if something is holding it up. That is quite a job to do that. It could also be as simple as the belt just being stuck or off track.

    Hi I just tried this and my dishwasher will start but stalls out 2-3 minutes into the cycle and won’t do anything else. I ran the diagnostic test and it is the code 7c.Could I get some help with this?

    • @BreakFixRepair
      @BreakFixRepair  5 місяців тому

      Sorry for the delay, I’d say it’s probably the motor more than likely. A lot of times they get messed up and need to be replaced.

    Hey!
    My waterwall is attached but it just doesn't track back. I can't even push it or pull it like youve done in this video. I'm getting a 7C error. The waterwall is stuck at the front of the dishwasher. Any advice?

    • @BreakFixRepair

      Unfortunately sounds like it may be your motor :( have you been able to make progress on it? I’ve been tied up with life the last three weeks and am just now getting around to answering comments.

      I got the same problem. Replaced motor now comes to the front and won’t go back technicians. Haven’t figured it out in six months.

    I ended up replacing the motor assembly (motor, sensor, entire assembly for like 140) because mine sounded crunchy when I moved the arm, the arm moves perfectly now, but I get error code "C1" in diagnostic mode like within the first 5 seconds. However, the washer will run through a cycle just fine... I even opened the washer with the waterwall going and got sprayed in the face so I know it's running... Should I worry about anything with this c1 error in diagnostic mode?

      I’m kind of in the mindset of if it’s working don’t touch it 😂 is it still doing good?

    • @stevetrimbo1064
      @stevetrimbo1064 7 місяців тому

      Yeah it's still cooking. I actually pulled it out again really quick just to double check my work and everything was bone dry underneath so no leaks by any means... However, at this point if it breaks again, it's getting the 12 gauge buckshot treatment and I'm getting a Bosch. These Samsung appliances are about as nice as a soup sandwich...

    I’m having to go through this process every couple of times I run the dishwasher. It’s the worst when I open it and everything is still dirty. Could something be going bad?

    • @BreakFixRepair
      @BreakFixRepair  8 місяців тому +1

      That’s not the recipe for a good day lol is the water wall arm ever off or just needs to be reset back to the home position? If it’s not off and just needs to be moved back there’s a magnet that loses power over time that lets the sensor underneath know where the vein position is. If that’s the case you may be able to attach a magnet underneath the vein so the sensor can pick up on the position better. if the arm keeps coming off check for the tines underneath the bottom rack to be stuck down or spoons or straws / knives pushed down below the silverware rack. Hope this helps!!

      This sounds crazy but have you checked to see if a spoon or knife or something has stuck down between the slots in the silverware holder? Sometimes that happens and it’s hard to see unless you’re looking for it.

      On some of the older models there’s a magnet that weakens with time. It’s right underneath the home position. You can try placing a neodymium magnet under to see if that fixes it
