Wow! Thank you so much for sharing this video! We had the same exact problem with a slightly different waterwall model. Tried cleaning the drain hose first etc...etc...almost gave up until I found your video. This is probably the first youtube video I ever commented on. Had a piece of glass stuck in the same exact spot. Now its working! 🎉hooray
I liked the way you covered each potential reason one by one and get to the bottom of the issue at the end. I also realized that this can fix the water leakage error if you just open the bottom panel and clean the water sensor. Thanks a lot.
@cdogan, yes you are right. IF there is a water leakage error, you can follow the same steps, remove the bottom panel and clean the water sensors. However, keep in mind that if there is some water leakage, it is better to also check the hose connections that I showed in the video. I recently fixed a Samsung Dishwasher that was leaking water and saw that there was a loose hose connection that was dripping. Actually it is easier to fix that problem than 5C/5S error. Thanks for the info.
Thank you very much young man! You saved me a new dish washer. Mine was only a few months old. I had a piece of broken plate or cup in mine. I just don’t know how it would get passed 2 filters??? But it did. Keep up the good work. God bless!
Thank you for this video. Sister-in-law had the same error code. Did all the first steps myself, even changed a piece of drain line and snaked the main drain line and still showed the code. Then she found this video. I never would have thought I could open that pump that easy. Popped it open, and there was a purple asparagus rubber band wrapped around the pump turbine. You are my hero dude. Thank you very much.
I am so happy that it helped you fix the problem. As a side note, if you happen to experience a water leak error (common for Samsung Dishwashers), you should follow the same steps and check hose connections inside the machine, and clean the water sensor you have seen in this video.
Great video and solved our problem! The reason for the problem was resolved on the last and most difficult part of what could go wrong, but we fixed it and now the dishwasher is running perfectly! Thanks so much 👍
Ookay just to clarify. Did you find the piece then backtrack the video to show how and where? I just couldn't help but notice the planting of the debris at 7:01 and its bothering my brain!
@christremie873 Haha:) Good catch! I can assure you it is the same piece that came out. Before recording that step, I had actually opened that part, took the piece out, and closed it again to show you how it is opened. So, the repair is 100% genuine:).
Excellent 👌, I enjoyed watching your video. From a professional appliance repairman with 25 years experience you covered all the bases.

hey the turbine is broken on the motor on yours shouldn't look like that.
The turbine is not broken in this video.
@@cdogan look here at 7:28 part of the video when you open the drain pump the propeller has brokened.
