This is actually the only legit build of ember mage I liked and I tried it and it's a beast. Other video guides always had mods and stuff it's very unfortunate.
Thanks man. Also, I keep that helm because it's part of the Transcendent set for which I need 6pc for the 15% cast speed. I don't know what I would use in place of Boon since this is such a simple build and boon is good for tacking on even more damage. And as for Blazing Pillar I feel like all the pillars converge onto a single target and the damage stacks (that's what the damage output looks like on the training dummies).
If you compare the stat bonuses of the ascendant set with the gear I'm currently using, you'll see that 6 pc is optimal due to the 15% cast speed. The 7-10 pc bonuses don't offer that much and the gear I have in place of them offer much more DPS and survivability.

Only thing to consider u should never leave the portal before relogging Skull of Limoany: best place is ng+ arround lvl 60 search frosted hills for phase portal where u have to protect the crystals from getting destroyed Skull of Riechlu: also ng+ search sundered bf for phase portal where u have to outrun the lava (by far best portal to farm in the game)
TL2 begginer asking: How did you remove that first MUST point in Magma Spear spell? also, those weapons... you have 3 enchantments and 4 sockets in each weapon, did you find the weapons already with 4 sockets? Because the maximum number of enchantments in an item is 3 right? including socketing enchantments... Thanks in advance. Great video btw, kickass embermage.
There two skills that make this really easy, a max frozen fate make almost nothing come near you, but you were killing everything so quickly frozen fate wouldn't matter and magma spear skill with a 4 slot wand put 4 10% chance to blind gems puts bosses in a blindlock
Jesse Tannous What makes you think he cheated? Seems like he used console commands to visit the test room and enchant his gear until it had all focus enchantments but other than that I can't see any indication of cheating.

he wasnt modded, all the stats on the weapon are legit. Yes, all the enchants was crititcal because I did this: First Enchant : Enchant as long as I get a critical Enchant with good amount of Stat. Once I got this, I duped my Item so I can try the second Enchant on the Item and if it isnt critical I try it again on my another duped Item etc. I did this as long as I got my second critital enchant and after that I duped the item again and tryed the 3rd Enchant. (dupe with sharedstash) With other words, yes its like "cheating" but not on a way to get impossible stats, it just safes alot of Time. I also could try to do it without duping the Items over and over again but this would take ALOT more time, but the Result & amount of Stats will be still the same & Legit Example here, max amount of Dex/Focus/etc on a lvl 105 Item is 72. So I can reach Max 216 on my item. Also without cheating is this possible, but it needs like ~10.000 trys. You understand what I try to say? I just safe time like this & the stats will be still legit, not everyone of us have alot of Time to spend. + I saw on your Video also that your Weapon&Rings are Duped, so if you're going to talk bad about that, - you arent on any way better. As next other good example, Humans always want to make something "perfect" right? thats how a human works. You can spend like 50 hours to make something perfect or just spend 5 Hours, what would you choose? Ofc the 5 hour one, the result at the end of the stats will be the same, only the amount of Time is different. Good example here Borderlands, Each weapon have their own prefixes which each makes the stats different. The Borderlands Community is big and it exist ways the give weapons the best legit Prefixes to get the best stats on, Its legit and its legit/allowed to use those weapons to make Worldrecords etc. TL2 isnt different, its here legit too, the end result is the same, just less time spent for this. My gear is legit

How do you get such good enchantments? Even on NG+ the enchantments are garbage, like +10 focus at best

Best way to farm certain skulls is in LAN mode. For instance, you farm Skull of Limoany in Act 1 phase rifts in NG+.

Install Socket Mod v31, up to 5 sockets per weapon or gear.

it's isn't all that difficult once you get the gear and don't go full glasscannon (I did both with embermage and with engenieer)

Jesse Tannous No cheats were used. The gear is pretty easy to come by if you grind enough. The enchants are imperfect as well.
