Shadowbind seems to be extremely underrated. It's absolutely amazing at crowd control. Battle rage --> Chainsnare --> Shadowbind --> Ravage = Everything dies. Shadowbind at level 6 gives transfers about 25% of the damage to all binded mobs, which means ravaging 5 binded mobs would double your damage output per mob.
due to the sheer overwhelming number of mobs that love to crowd up, I usually go with all the CC moves for berserker (max stormclaw, howl, and some others to really drop their strength)
I appreciate what you did here, but I think this would have been more helpful if you had demonstrated the skills against enemies of equal level, instead of Level 8 monsters that are at least 90 levels below you (for those who aren't familiar with the game, you have to be at least Level 98 to max out a skill from the Level 42 tier).

That's damage that increases with player level, and you don't get that at Level 8. If he's not Level 100, then he's in his high 90's.

Torchlight 2 is no exception--it follows the same pattern. The only difference is that the Torchlight designers built ways to cheat into the game because they believe people should be able to play a game any way they want, but they hid those ways because it's not the way the game was designed to be played.
That is why you get Battle Standards first before Ravage. BattleStandard have the insane 26 Mana Regen/Sec. So as long as you're within BattleStandard AOE, you can cast Ravage indefinitely. Battle Standards also has a min. CD of 15 secs.
Savage rush is amazing if you get enough mana regen to never run out. I simply run through hordes of enemies and let the DoT do its job. The speed boost makes me untouchable, and I can literally run circles around bosses without them touching me once. Plus, environmental damage doesn't harm you in wolf form. Although, I do need Ice shield to deal with projectiles. Those can still hit you.
Anyone who has cleared TL2 with a Berserker knows that the best skill the berserker needs to get as soon as he can is Battle Standards and Ravage. Get those two along with IceShield and Battle Rage and you'll be untouchable. The other skills aren't good unless you're going for a spellcaster type Berserkes. You only need Savage Rush for fast Traveling.
I can't remember the equips in detail: tje claws I found were rare loot after beating the Griffon boss I think, and then I imbued it with magic and gems. The armor was a rare piece too when I got to the final act. Anything else were just so-so socketed items that I socketed with gems.
I disagree. Ravage is so mana hungry that you can't cast it more than 3 or 4 times until you get to max levels, the same happens with ice shields. On the other hand, battle standards and battle rage are handy buffs, combined with Howl you get insane resist and dmg output. I for example, use Savage Rush + Howl to lower enemies' dmg resistance, between that and your +dmg buffs, the damage you deal with pure physical attacks bestows you 5k+ crits at level 50 with crap gear.
I just tried that and I definitely couldnt hold it for long, 4 attacks at most. Maybe it was possible pre-patch, but right now its impossible, and since you can't proc lifesteal/manasteal with that spell, enhanced autoattacks still seem the most viable config for me. Would be nice if the cost was a bit lower though. PD: That sound... totally reminds me of the harpies encampment and Act 2 of Diablo 2... good ol' times
I'm sorry. I forgot it already. I've finished this game like 8 months ago, already forgot what I built. :/ But I do recall getting some pretty rare items that made the game pretty easy.
Thats why i dont like the berserker i like spelling many skills and then i really like the embermage but i also like the engineer cause of his robots :D
I'm having this issue right now.. Im full passives and I die quickly when monsters swarm me im playing on veteran creating and deleting for a better build :P
Can someone tell me if my berserker needs focus? I'm level 75, and don't use ravage. I use Shadow Bind and Perma Frost with ice explosion to kill trash, then I Raze the boss down. Seems to work really well.

He has all skills maxed. You can't max out all skills without cheating.
