I uh, just want to point out that Old Man Zangetsu was the one to teach him Getsuga Tensho, and the way the technique work is very quincy esque, you grab reiatsu from around you, compress it into a blade you can shoot. Similar to how quincy compress reiatsu around them into an arrow that they then shoot. Might just be dumb luck but uh, considering when he tries to say his name it's blur'ed out because of Ichibe...I'm kinda doubting it.
I love SEW a ton, but goddamn he was awful at making negative videos. I'm honestly glad he stopped being an anituber, him talking about things he loves is a million times better, even if he sometimes goes back to my most hated video essay trope: "unlike EVERYTHING ELSE this is good". Still, the worst shit he's ever put out IMO is the "state of shonen jump" videos which are 100% raw, grass-fed, organic misinformation. Each time I think back on them I realise a new, even stupider layer of idiocy that was contained in them. Mofo tried to diagnose the health of f'in Shueisha from the ToC of ONE of their magazines. To be fair the shikai he DID say at one point early that his sword was a constant shikai, I forget which translation, but it's a misconception that sits around for some reason.
To be fair, the people with the conception of constant-release Zapakuto are Ichigo and Zaraki... the two people with the least knowledge on how Zapakuto work at that point in the story.
about the kenpachi thing, i remember watching a video a few months ago (i belive it was an iceberg i put it as white noise so i can't remember all the details perfectly) talking about the theorised constant release bankais and the guy making the video mention how it was theorised that zaraki had a constant release zanpakuto back in soul society, so most likely they read a bad translation where it translated zanpakuto in to shikai
Yea he got called out multiple times and his video responding to his own video was filled with false information. He basically “corrected” his Bleach video with even more incorrect information.
I wouldnt compare JJK to bleach maybe story sure but power system just makes JJK much more enjoyable because of how crazy you can make someone's seemingly useless curse technique become useful
Oh ik this is about Bleach but can about the way people view kill counts in One Piece specifically with villains and how there's a double standard for villains like Kaido or the Gorosei but other villains are allowed to not kill anybody. Seriously, its like people judge the worth of a villain narratively by how many people they kill
56:56 Whenever anyone makes this argument that the reason people don’t like certain ships is because of relatively minor changes made between the anime adaptation and the original manga in how the characters are depicted it always comes off to me as a giant cope and a way to dismiss people with different opinions.
It’s less a dismissal and more like an admission of an experience that lead to their justifiable belief. The anime undeniably made changes that made that pairing seem more likely, not to mention all the filler and movies. It makes sense where a lot of people’s takes came from. Now that said I do generally dismiss IchiRuki shippers because they’re obviously wrong.
Also going off the manga there is still tons of chemistry between Ichigo and Rukia like in the fullbring arc when Ichigo had to activate his powers (keep in mind Riruka said activating her powers for her like a feeling of love) Ichigo remembers Rukia. Or Rukia saying "Thats the kind of man i know you are in my Heart Ichigo" in chapter 196. Like I hate when Ichiruki haters gaslight us into thinking that the manga has no romantic writing or indication, or anything when its pretty clear Ruika Relationship with Ichigo could be read as romantic or at least a deep bond. Meanwhile the Orihime people always use the fucking Orihime confession when Ichigo is asleep as evidence when Ichigo never heard this like its peak romance writing.
@@MEBOLOR The difference is you could interpret Rukia Ichigo as romantic if you wanted to. Meanwhile Orihime’s dynamic is blatantly romantic. If you just prefer IchiRuki because you like it that’s fine, but a lot of people outright say it not happening was bad for the story and thats ridiculous.
Theres one plot hole, we know "old man zangetsu" dont actually become one until later and the actual zangetsu confirms he's the one who initially fused with the shinigami powers. Yet against Kenpachi, even when ichigo isn't there Zangetsu and OMZ act like OMZ really was Zangetsu.
Dont be so quick to call anything plot hole. Omz stop suppressing his quincy powers for some time that explains how his cut from kenpachi closed it was blut vene. He didn't give him soul reaper power boost or something but even the spiritual energy leaking out of ichigo takes hollow form clearly visible. If you are asking why omz came instead of white then ichigo didn't knew about him at that point. As omz said it was always the hollow who always saved his life not him
@@luffys_ Nothing you said had anything to do with what I called a plot hole. I said Zangetsu calls OMZ by "Zangetsu" even when Ichigo wasn't there which doesn't make sense because Zangetsu and his Quincy powers are distinct parts of his powers until the end of the Arrancar arc. This is made evident as how Zangetsu was basically forced into a fusion as a shinigami hollow and couldn't get rid of his shinigami robe, but OMZ actually was never shown fused and constantly worked against his other powers.
I guess the reason people say gin is faster than that is because of the fact that we have seen much faster feats in bleach and later on depending on how you read it you can say that it’s not the speed i have said or you can say it is slower than what i said and too make it so gin bankai matches up with the rest of bleach it’s better to have it faster or people like rukia should just dodge it easily or ss arc ichigo being at least as fast as lighting even if we look at the length 8 miles the blade look to go across katakura town and it look like eight miles ichigo doesn’t have a sense in his head to be like 500 times the speed of sound is too fast or slow he doesn’t have a reference so depending on how you look at it can other way
Maybe I'm remembering incorrectly but didn't the 9th espada literally react to and dodge light that was coming into the room he was fighting Rukia in? I just sorta assumed anyone as fast or faster than him is bare minimum light speed.
@@sweatyfry4217 yeah that is why gin being faster than light makes more sense or else he wouldn’t be able to even touch the 9nth espada or rukia with his attacks
Regarding MHA, I think like half the negativity around the ending is because of people basing their opinions entirely on the bad early leaks, something similar happens all of the time in the JJK and OP communities.

Hey sould society and fullbring is next because he actuallxy has something outside soul society, sword guy grat antagonist and we explore the characters, and ichigo. Plus it does the weird superpowers way better than the sternbringer. I remember I used to really dislike fullbring but I came around to it on a reread even if its still not my favorite For MHA admittedly I'm someone that lost interest in the series and checked out the the ending out of curiosity but here are some opinions I've seen floating around but don't really agree with The story would have been better if Deku stayed quirkless MHA has a bloated cast Ending went against the themes of the story and was character assassination for Deku
Deku would have been better as a support character than a holder of One for All. One For All is my biggest problem with MHA. And giving Deku that power was just a bad move
@@trashiki I don't think Deku should've gone from quirkess to having one of the strongest Quirks in the whole series. He should have been someone to use strategy and examination to get himself through situations, to be dependant on his classmates using them to help advance him but also using his mind to put each of his class mates to greater use, bringing the best out in them. And them bringing up his confidence.
@@colonelkenpachi5009Alright but that feels less like an actual criticism and more like you just wanted a different series. Since Deku uses his powers by chapter 3. I’ll be honest I was more interested in the other two you said and should’ve just asked about them since they’re less common opinions. That’s on me. So, by Deku should’ve been support do you mean not the mc or like he should’ve used support tools? If no mc then who and why? And yeah also curious about your one for all problems, I’m not trying to arguing those 2 I just want to know.
@@trashiki it's a critic on the concept of the series more than anything because I feel Horikoshi writes himself in corners because of Izuku having such a grandiose power. What I mean by support is as in he should be someone to support the cast of side characters. I'm not saying Deku shouldn't be a main character I'm saying that because he has One For All he has an answer for most of his problems (yes I know at the beginning Deku doesn't know how to use OFA and hurts himself most the time) Him being somewhat of a support such as being a strategist or being more of the brains for the class would put Class 1A into better use. While showing that Izuku doesn't need to be the strongest hero but he can be the most prepared and most useful.
ok now i know you dont know as much as you think about bleach. Byakuya was literally brought back because the fans sent kubo death threats.....Are you kidding me?
No, he wasn't. It's just another rumor that became popular. The only character that was supposed to die, but didn't was Grimmjaw. However, he was supposed to die after attacking Ichigo for the first time. He was the only such character Kubo ever mentioned

Super grifterpatch wolf only need the first 15 mins of that redux video...because then he laughs at as NANO SECOND later. Fuck em. We just needed the correction nothing more
No it's not. Literally would've cause more backlash with so many plotholes. Ichigo's backstory never explain and how Aizen connected to him. Soul King, Squad Zero never reveal. So I seriously don't know what are you even on about here.
Tbh when it comes to Ichigos Quincies powers I feel like a lot of it isn’t traditional foreshadowing and more so circumstance. I truly believe Kubo never meant all this but he just got to this point in the story and saw that he could loosely connect everything together. Everything but the Rain does a lot of the Quincy heavy lifting
In the data book interview he litterly said TYBW is the first arc he made. Everything else was written later to lead up to it. This is why kubo had french arc planned but never wrote it it had no effect in TYBW. KUBO even said that if bleach was meant to end at a earlier point he would just skip to tybw, so he is fine with cutting the entire arrancar saga and SS arc.
@@pogo8050yeah that's kinda what happens when you're hospitalized and decide to end it on your terms. Also you clearly never read anything that actually messed up
@@SevensDran so the reason he didn’t spend any time setting up the conflict of the final arc, despite claiming to have written everything to “later lead up to it” is because he was hospitalized? You guys have pushed back against the Sanji/Lunarian theories so I’m curious what you think of mine: I think Sanji may be connected to the Lunarian through Sora, not Judge. In volume 7, Oda answers a question about Sanji’s eyebrow by comparing it to the earth, moon, and sun spinning. It’s over the top and comes off as a joke, but Oda mentioning heavenly bodies and the planet being flooded with tidal waves makes me think back to it now that it’s revealed that the Ancient Weapons, named after planets/gods, can flood the earth. Also that the Elders are named after heavenly bodies. Oda mentions that the “twirl” generates power. In Enel’s cover story, the mural on the moon features an image that looks like a bulb filled with things that are identical to Sanji’s eyebrow. It kind of looks like it can be an energy source for something, especially in the colored version where it’s yellow. Which makes it interesting that Oda previously likened Sanji’s eyebrows to spiral power of heavenly bodies. And the mural was done by the ancestors of the sky folk, who have wings like the Lunarian do. And the Lunarian potentially being connected to the moon is obviously based on their names as well. What’s more, Oda drew an illustration of a space alien a long time ago and that freaky thing was Sanji’s wanted poster face with feathered wings. Just like the sky folk, who originated from space/the moon. Those spiral things from the mural that look like Sanji’s eyebrows also resemble the spiral pattern on Devil Fruits, and the Vinsmoke kids’ powers seem to mostly be based or resemble DFs. Ichiji and Glint Glint, Niji and Rumble Rumble, Sanji and Clear Clear, Reiju and Venom Venom. The exception is Yonji, whose power seems to be based on just being ass. The DF-spiral-eyebrow thing isn’t related much to the potential Sanji-Lunarian connection unless you’re also into the camp that believes the Lunarian created DFs, but it’s an interesting observation. Idk what the completed picture would look like together if it comes to fruition, but I do think that Sanji, the Lunarian, the moon and DFs are all related. While Sanji’s connection to the Lunarian didn’t come from Judge’s experiments, it’s still possible it may come from his mother’s side, since her name means “sky.”

The Getsuga Tensho is a technique not his ability. Isshin adds his reiatsu and the fire from engetsu to have a slice.
Aizens shikai abilities are invisible so i believe that aizens zanpakuto spirit is also invisible and thats why hes so lonely, hes never seen his spirit and so he rejects it but thats just a theory

The only bad part about the video is all the cover he plays for Kubo lol. Anything other than calling Bleach a disaster of terrible writing is generous towards it.
By the time the series got it’s RuShEd EnDiNg, Ichigo had been fighting Yhwach for 8 chapters, made absolutely no progress in figuring out his ability and getting covered in eye goup while shouting “grr I’ll get you”. Before Yhwach then inexplicably sucks his power out and leaves as the final 5 chapters begin. The epilogue then feature a a whole chapter of nothing at all happening 10 years later. Whenever anyone makes this argument that the reason people don’t like certain ships is because of relatively minor changes made between the anime adaptation and the original manga in how the characters are depicted it always comes off to me as a giant cope and a way to dismiss people with different opinions.
"Relatively minor changes" 😭😭 just say you ship ichiruki and we will be on our way
Your whole comment is a cope and attempt to dismiss real, factual changes!

Super eyepatch wolf is a clear bleach hater we has bleach fans will never let some smoke the brain represent bleach
Aizen states that he was stronger than all of them
I guess the reason people say gin is faster than that is because of the fact that we have seen much faster feats in bleach and later on depending on how you read it you can say that it’s not the speed i have said or you can say it is slower than what i said and too make it so gin bankai matches up with the rest of bleach it’s better to have it faster or people like rukia should just dodge it easily or ss arc ichigo being at least as fast as lighting even if we look at the length 8 miles the blade look to go across katakura town and it look like eight miles ichigo doesn’t have a sense in his head to be like 500 times the speed of sound is too fast or slow he doesn’t have a reference so depending on how you look at it can other way
Maybe I'm remembering incorrectly but didn't the 9th espada literally react to and dodge light that was coming into the room he was fighting Rukia in? I just sorta assumed anyone as fast or faster than him is bare minimum light speed.
@@sweatyfry4217 yeah that is why gin being faster than light makes more sense or else he wouldn’t be able to even touch the 9nth espada or rukia with his attacks

Hey sould society and fullbring is next because he actuallxy has something outside soul society, sword guy grat antagonist and we explore the characters, and ichigo.
Plus it does the weird superpowers way better than the sternbringer.
And ywach and ginjo would be way better if there was more explicit how soul society killed his old friends before his current and show tthat in a flashback,

For MHA admittedly I'm someone that lost interest in the series and checked out the the ending out of curiosity but here are some opinions I've seen floating around but don't really agree with
The story would have been better if Deku stayed quirkless
MHA has a bloated cast
Ending went against the themes of the story and was character assassination for Deku
Deku would have been better as a support character than a holder of One for All.
One For All is my biggest problem with MHA.
And giving Deku that power was just a bad move
@@colonelkenpachi5009 can you elaborate on any of those?
@@trashiki
I don't think Deku should've gone from quirkess to having one of the strongest Quirks in the whole series.
And yeah also curious about your one for all problems,
I’m not trying to arguing those 2 I just want to know.
@@trashiki it's a critic on the concept of the series more than anything because I feel Horikoshi writes himself in corners because of Izuku having such a grandiose power.
What I mean by support is as in he should be someone to support the cast of side characters.
I'm not saying Deku shouldn't be a main character I'm saying that because he has One For All he has an answer for most of his problems (yes I know at the beginning Deku doesn't know how to use OFA and hurts himself most the time)
Him being somewhat of a support such as being a strategist or being more of the brains for the class would put Class 1A into better use.
While showing that Izuku doesn't need to be the strongest hero but he can be the most prepared and most useful.

What boring battles?
There are boring filler but boring battles.
