Memories flowing back to me. I'm around 8 or 10 years old, it's early in the morning and the powers out, me and my brother boot up our new gameboy advances and play Pokemon red and green for the first time. I'll never forgot that. This vid is so under rated, great job!
this is my "born in the early 2000's" story: got the game cube when i was like 5, played spider man when my brother wasn't. my grandma had the ps2 and Jack and Dexter was lit. Every time i went to a holiday party i got to play halo 2 on the xbox with the older kids. 1v1's were so fun. Then, I got the xbox360 for christmas it came with the kinect! i played that for a while until my dad got Tony Hawk's project 8 at a pawn shop. This game i have atleast 5000 hours on it and is still my favorite game. I also had black ops 2 which i was the best sniper at, well of course not as good as faze.
Welcome to 2018 gaming nostalgia. You got home from college/work. Your phone blipped for the 30th time today from a phone game that you downloaded. The same phone game all your friends played WHILE you are trying to have a conversation with them. You downloaded because you felt if you don't play it you'll just never be a part of the same conversation. You logged into BattleNet. Your buddy is online. You guys hopped on voice chat. Buddy: "...ey...man...wassup". You: "not much just got home...you wanna play a quick a game or something?" Buddy: "...uhhh well what do you wanna play?" You: "I can't think of anything tbh...how about Overwatch?" Buddy: "aite....I don't see why not" *loaded game* Buddy: "EY YO! I gotta hop off. One of my friend is on now and I already promised to get on League" *the friend he's talking about is a girl* As your buddy left voice chat, so too the constant humming of his shitty ass mic. But now the Overwatch menu theme is clearer than ever. You thought about clicking QUICK MATCH, but suddenly doesn't feel like doing it anymore. So you got off BattleNet and launch up Netflix instead.
This is such a hidden gem, it deserves a lot more visibility than it has gotten in 3 years

Hey man, just wanted to say I've been watching you for awhile and your content is awesome. It's good to see your pushing out videos again.
Thanks! Mostly working on video games right now though. Just make these when I get motivation.
I come back to this video once every month cause it just feels GOOD

My story is: I never knew any of this console crap and I mastered Quake 1-2, Doom 1-2, Unreal, Blood, NFS 1-2 when I was 6.
More like well-off American middle-class gaming nostalgia, lel.
yep, was thinking about that the entire time I spent making this
too much for zblock...
Tiny meat gang.
No, I don't remember, because I never played Zelda.
