You can check out Under The Fallen Snow here: somefarang.itch.io/under-the-fallen-snow UTFS was made for Metroidvania Month Jam 3. It was created over the course of 30 days by myself, an artist, and a musician. Had a ton of fun making it, just wish we had time to add more depth.

A retro metroidvania on Steam. Researching for the next game. Note: I later found out you can teleport by going to the map and clicking on any save location. This is buried in the help section. You also need to press Y - pressing B doesn't do anything.

people say GW2 isn't about the grind but you literally cannot even enter the main city until level 10 which takes longer than other MMOs.

The girl at the opening i like however she does nothing in combat gets all of the cut scenes beat's the angle like he is a light weight is built as being very powerful but is only there to free diablo and die your main character deserved better your main character does get talked about but even then again very little.

Speaking of COD not having bunny hopping, there's strafe jumping in the original COD:MW series tho, COD4 until COD:MW3.

This video is honestly terrible even for the time it was made around, or should i say, ESPECIALLY for the times it was made around, this fucking nihilistic approach.... bunnyhopping is dead, we'll be only left with dead bunnyhopping servers blah blah... 5:07 got me especially "Call of Duty is essentially born in the watch; the skill comes from memorization of spawns and maps" wtf is even that point? as if games he mentioned before weren't? you can spend tens of thousands of hours on kovaaks, aim maps, deathmatches or just about any other way to train your muscle memory, sure. you fire up quakeworld and hop on a random ffa server. no one cares about your aim, you have no idea about the gameplay of dm2? you'll get screwed. no idea how to use different weapons and in what kind of situations? you'll get screwed. no idea where your enemies will spawn, therefore they'll quickly stack up rockets and armor without you even noticing? you'll get screwed. how about counter strike? let's see: no idea about common scope/sniper spots on dust2 so you can counter their actions effectively? you'll get screwed. no idea about how to call bombsites by their letters, which wrecks your communication abilities with the team? you'll get OBLITERATED. the "memorization of spawns" point is irrelevant to cs though, which doesn't deny the fact of him speaking absolute bullshit (you can substitute it with, like, ANY other afps based on id tech 2 or goldsrc, let's say hldm, xonotic) ROFL, and i know, i know; 2012 was THE year of cod (Black Ops 2, the most lucrative launch in video game history at that point), almost exclusively on consoles, but he pretty much generalized the entire series to the crap activision was releasing at the time, forgetting about that CoDs 1 through WaW were heavily movement oriented from their very inception!! and these games still made a vast part of the franchise in 2012. having been originated from q3, the game which had its ENTIRE movement ecosystem, people really hitting crazy shit on it (defrag!). i might be vague in this comment about important things, but i just wanted to point out that this video is just full of the nihilism and overall negative, unjustified mindset that the ship is sinking and there's no coming back. Bunnyhopping and overall movement mechanics are still fine, many things have changed over these damn 11 years but it's definitely worth trying, it's hell of fun. maybe someone asked and/or needed this and will extract some useful information out of this comment, enjoy reading this chaotic mumble. peace : /\ )

Very different world back then 2012. Guild wars 2 was a little different, but some of the principles are there. I would say that the video itself ends flat, not a full review of everything. People in 2023 play WoW hardcore classic, thus there is an appeal with killing 10 rats with perma death being a thing. Gw2 doesn't have that, you level much faster now, can lvl to 80 under 10 hours with a good knowledge, 24 hours if you don't know what to do. Guild Wars 2 has appeal because it is hardcore-casual system that can pick up easy, money shop isn't grueling like ESO or WoW with subs tokens. It'll never surpass Retail WoW(unless the company completely goes under), nor surpass FFXIV with the amount content & story it delivers. The MMOrpg genre is dying, it will never come back to the Everquest model or World of Warcraft height, as mainstream gaming has too much adhd, nickle diming, day one shitty AAA games that kill old guard talent. The MMO will only be a niche of the thousands, can only be supported by the faithful.

After Diablo 2 Resurrected, I started Diablo 3 on Normal. Uhm....what? My health did not even decrease in mob fights! So I switched to Hard, but again, my health did not seriously decrease in fights except a couple of times. There seems to be no difference between Normal and Hard. However, I will play it on Hard now. Overall, Diablo 3 is very underwhelming compared to D2. Very mainstream, Arcade-like.

I watched some CS:GO frag montages with BHopping. I like usage of BHopping for game advantage and it was the only reason for me to try the game. Not anymore -- shooting on the move is useless, people I watched happened to use scripts and cheats. CS:Sours does not has BHop speed boosting anymore and playing CS as it was intended by developers is boring for me. No BHop -- no fun(at least for Counter Strike).

it's 2022 and i just uninstalled gw2 for like the 20th time while trying to get into it and this review hits perfectly right now! gw2 the game that pretends it's not an asshole like everyone else til you hang out and than it's SURPRISE i'm an asshole too just with less personality and charisma than all the rest!
