This car came to me with a couple of faults...
On this video we will be looking at the one causing an engine light ON and anti-pollution faults on the screen, P2603.

There are reports when auxiliary coolant pump is broken that engine ecu can’t be reached by diagnostic..after pump was replaced communication with ecu was established normal

Hi, congratulations for your videos, I hope you answer me. anti pollution system faulty was it giving you an error due to the turbo fluid pump? I have the same problem and sometimes the car loses power when I clear the error with waves the car runs fine for 1 or 2 days, and then it reappears.thank you so much for your help.

The message "Anti pollution fault" is a generic message used by Peugeot and citroen for a series of faults that can affect emissions...
As you might have seen on the video, the fault was nothing to do with EGR or filters...
So basically, if you have this fault coming up, doing what you have said might not fix nothing...
Always better to scan the car and go from there...
Your advice can be a good shot in the dark, if you don't have meanings for scanning the car... As it can be many other suggestions...

Have seem dozens of faulty pumps on these engines Peugeot end Citroen. Ask for guarantee. And skip the ECO mode its worthless.

Hi mate 🫡 If I may ask u one question for my uncle he’s elderly has 2010 Peugeot 3008 turbo petrol ,and what he have is when start his car first it start for 5 minutes then it turn of simply by itself then he go open bonnet take out the Negative terminal off for 1 minutes then mounted it back turn ignition on it start drive all be fantastic only when he stops for about 5 hours then he have to do all again it starts no problem,then today he was on the traffic light it just car turn off completely try to start nothing on only the engine light it stays he do what he do everyday to start it ,and then luckily it starts and he drive back home with engine light on ,the car drive very well not sound kind issue it’s has just 88000 Kms on clock,,,,
If u please what you think it could be just to make it clear to you new battery on since he replaced the battery he start have this problem 🤦♂️😅…

Too much guess work, if I start to give you any suggestions...
But, are you saying, that only when the engine lights comes one, that car starts?
The best next thing to do, is to scan the car when the issue acts up, see which modules are online and offline if any, and go from there...

I never got to it, nor ever actually researched...
I have "heard" that you can carry one doing the reset, but you will not be able to save the details... reason why asks to put the mileage at the time of the reset.
It is possible to reset this, in the eeprom...

That's an immobilizer fault or corrupted immo data... what was done on the car?
LM Auto Repairs i replaced two times the TWICE module control I’ve synchronized all with tech2 but the same result engine start after 10 min go off with the same results I have two TWICE identical, my old one is not responding at all after the water go in sow a buyed one the same number and I’ve synchronized with tech2 and tis2000 all is good but the error is there after 10 min 15 min
Peugeots all have the same problems with Anti pollution, engine cutting out, gear boxes. I have a Peugeot 207 Ive put a lot of money into fixing, and can't wait to get rid of it, Will never buy a Peugeot again.
There is no problem clearing codes after the 40 or 50 limit. The only diference is that you cannot record the mileage, but codes ARE cleared.

Excellent video as always... Looking forward to see the video on how to deal when clearing codes reach max. Like 40 or 50..but I scaned cars that reached the limit.. And codes are cleared with no problem.. But the session is not recorded anymore.

Excellent advice for P2603: first check electrical connections. I solved the problem on a 5008 from 2009 just by disconnecting and reconnecting the small connector at the engine ECU. Fixed the issue in no time. Thank you.

😭Im in tears. I bought Peugeot 3008 1.6 petrol turbo exclusive and second day engine light showed up, anti-pollution system fault . Computer always finds different problems, my car lost power,i have to accelerate to full and play with clutch,this is killer for engine.Ive been searching for same problems but never seem to find actual cause / solution for that. What should i do. I feel like I'm loosing it here. I dont consider seeling it. Can anyone pls advice/recommend anything if having same problems. I was thinking of high pressure pump replacement but checking what part pump takes in engine it seems mine all good. My car is 133k miles no paperwork😟pleaseee. Anyone know anybody' genuine in London?or i should take to Peugeot shop

At this mileage the timing chain need to be changed.

Right, first you said you changed the "candles"... which I presumed you meant the spark plugs?
Now you say you changed the cams... why have you changed the cams?
While the cams where out, have you checked the dephasers?
Was the problem there before the cams changed?

Hye just wondering if you have any ideas my fiat doblo 1.4 petrol has had a fault now for over 2 years no one can fix it is intermittent some times imobiliser light stays on and car cranks but does not start I have had both keys checked by 3 diffrent places I have had ecu tested I have removed the bcm had it tested I have 3 fault codes D602 D600 U1600 the car seams better in the hot weather strange any ideas
Check wiring etc... ground points as well... surely you will find some rusty ones....

I have the same problem on my car, it’s a Peugeot 207 1.6 THP 150, I just replaced the timing chain with all the needed parts and I have also done an cylinder head grinding with new valve stem seals, after running the car I have the exact same problem, engine light on with fault code P0131 & P2603, when I rebuilt the engine I have also changed the water pump of the turbo and the O2 sensor but the fault codes are still there, I have also checked all the wires and they’re good.
Please do you know how I can fix this problem ? Thank you a lot.

No you are not... Brush or brushless should run when 12v is applied to it!

cos the pump help in cooling the turbo when hot and you turn off and ecu advise to cool the turbo more

you need to connect the maxisys to the multimeter and run a diagnosis. i got a citroen in eco mode that bidirecional tests didn't work too. must be the eco mode

I truly love your channel, it's like treasure chest! I have problem with turbo water pump - it stays on and I have p2601. The electrician can't find that short :( This is happening even after placing new pump. Do you have some suggestion what to look next? Pump works - it just stays on too long :)

The economy mode on peugeot and citroen, is when a big majority of the electrical systems are disabled, to prevent further battery discharge...
Limp mode, or also known as safe mode, is when the engine power is reduced due to a fault etc...
