I am never short of impressed with Matt’s videos. Every single video is crisp, cleanly filmed and edited, very informative, and fun to watch. I loose interest often with other YT channels, but never with this one. It’s just the right balance between fun and serious. Great work Matt.
I totally agree 👍 Matt speaks in such a way that he captivates your attention unlike other YT channels. I always watch from beginning to end, I often skip other YTubers to the end product

It’s weird. I’m not really into cars, I’d rather spend more on a watch than a car, but I find your videos so interesting and entertaining Matt. Keep em coming.
Like the light interiors. As a two car Merc owner where the options are basically black, black or black I'm good to see. At 70k miles and £4k it's good for a young family. Hopefully 10-20k trouble free and a nice panoramic sunroof to amuse the kids on a long run.
My last merc was a B200 in ““desert storm”” trim… I loved the beige interior! (Steppe brown exterior, post facelift, chrome pack, beige over black interior)
Xzibit would be proud. Heard you like mats, so we've given you mats over mats over mats and some aerosol paintwork that has gone matte in a video by Matt
The diesel engines from Peugeot and Citroen are usually quite good, but all petrol engines from 2006 onwards from Peugeot and Citroen (Vti and Puretech) are known for severe oil consumption and internal pollution in the cilinders. So beware of that.
I have a similar problem that many others do on here.. I watch these videos purely for entertainment purposes and not because I was really interested in a used 3008, nor that I ever will. Well done, great vid as always. Love to see these ‘old’ cars come back to life by someone who cares (maybe sometimes too much 💷😅)
Here we go again, all excited to hear someone talk about a car that I have literally no interest in. I mean, WTF? My theory is that before starting his channel, Matt took an NLP/hypnosis course and is pulling a snidey little number on us all!😋
Matt, I think your prelinary hopeful budgeting is somewhat out. I simply can't imagine you buying a 14 year old mass produced car and then bringing it up to YOUR IMPECCABLE STANDARDS for anything less than a Grand!!. Good news is, it has turned out really nice and someone is going to have a cracking 4K car all sorted. Bravo!!
I'll tell you what, Matt, Peugeot should be paying you commission for these videos. Despite being an older model, I thought the interior was well looked after and well spec'd. Although I counted 6 Mats, including you. Whatever small profit you made on this, it looked great when you had the work done and will serve someone well for years to come. So even if your bank balance doesn't benefit too much, you're banking points with the man upstairs and stopping good cars getting scrapped. Win win.
Love you gave your self props on those plates. I did mine. I'm not knocking you either. Measured mine up and down and didn't know you can't back those screws out if you made a mistake. Thankfully I only went in a bit. Pliers out. Every day a learning day
Good evening Matt, another great little car saved say you might not make a lot of money out of it but it will make someone very happy to own such a useful little car. Cheers Phil from Newark
Love these videos Matt, you take a car and improve it immensely. The car looked amazing at the end. Been on your website and its not there so presume you sold it. I know not much profit but if you have quick turn around not so bad. Well done.
Great video, Matt, you are showing us a great view of how things are going to change in the future. The way things are going, 14 year old cars will never happen in the future, with so many electronics/touch screens/online updates modern cars will become unrepairable/unaffordable after a few years and then we will have to go to a subscription model for car ownership, like Microsoft Office. Well done.
As always Matt, you’ve rescued, and transformed another car, I hope it makes a good profit which you definitely deserve, after putting all that effort into improving this 3008 😊.
When you said “ what a beautiful day “ I was expecting a Ken Dodd joke to follow! Interesting video about a boring but practical car with tips thrown in as usual.
Ah, I suppose that wasn't a good enough profit for you, Matt, but as you often say, it's a good buy for someone and it looks hugely better... I really like the bright interior, especially with the panoramic roof!
I hope you get your asking price. I used to be fascinated with the innovative & sometimes quirky French engineering ideas not seen on the run of the mill cars, but having owned a couple over the years, not so happy with the often close & tiny pedals, or the fact that when they do need work, it’s usually costly. You often really put a lot of effort into ensuring the vehicles you sell, are in top condition - as opposed to a quick profit. Good luck with your next one!
I would love for you to come and do your used car thought process and checks on my current car just to see what youd critique. Really like hearing your thoughts on what you pick up, and you express them very clearly!
Wishing you well with the sale. You kinda set the scene in the intro when doubting how long your good fortune could last with these Peugeot cars. Looking forward to your next video, as always.

Future tip for buying Isle of Man cars. Always do a manual regen on the DPF on diesels. I had to make sure I did a “mountain run” each month to ensure it could regen. Most of the time your only doing 15 - 20 min journeys at 40mph so they just clog up
ngl that interior is nice, also FWIW I used to think HUD was a gimmick, but fuck me it's so good. Once you're used to having it you don't want a car without it.
The 3008 is a nice car, pleasant to drive. My only criticism is oddly the 3008 diesel doesn’t give the sort of MPG return that would normally get from the Peugeot/Citroen 1.6 HDI power plant in other Peugeot or Citroen vehicles.
