I read Dune & DuneMessiah back in the 1970s, when I was a uni student... Now I'm a retired uni prof, and watching DunePart 1&2 at my leisure! Next month, LOTR will be coming back to US theaters, and I'll be there for the big screen!!!

I did look it up before asking, though. I found a show scheduled for January 2025 in Toronto, so I got confused. 😁
I looked it up again, that show would have LOTR’s score performed live to the motion picture. It think it would be a great experience.
I just checked fathomevents website. Looks like the next month thing is only for US & that too, for a day.
I haven't read the novel so when we see that dramatic shift in Paul I was shocked. I love the first one from 2021. Own it on 4k and Part Two I agree is highly elevated storytelling with stunning visuals. Denis Villeneuve is becoming one my favorite directors now. Are you a fan of Arrival and Blade Runner 2049 too? Enjoyed your review and that's great you're diving completely into the Dune material. I'm thinking about doing that too maybe. I've already seen Dune: Part One three times and Dune: Part Two twice. Javier Bardem's character and performance is one of my favorite's too. I like Chani a lot too and how strong she is. Hi @K_LCollectibles_Games I haven’t watched Blade Runner 2049 and I watched Arrival many years ago and don’t remember much. I’ll watch them soon.
Regarding Dune Part two, the turn of events are shocking without knowing what’s in the books. We think Paul is the all noble Hero when in fact he is more of an anti-hero. But, interesting turn of events, nonetheless. I think the whole cast did an amazing job in Dune: part two but I’m in awe of Rebecca Fergusson’s performance too. She was very intimidating. I’m planning to watch Jodorowsky’s Dune (2013 documentary) next. A friend of mine said Dune wouldn’t be today’s Dune without Jodorowsky and jokingly said to me ‘You are a child if you don’t know about him and his passion for Dune’. Needless to say, that was enough to pique my interest and there I’m headed. 😁
