Something about this video is hypnotizing to my 9 month old! Since he was only a few months old we found that he absolutely loves this video and it has never failed to pacify him.
Now I see-Hilda (my tap dance/singing teacher) must have seen this lady and taught me same motions-I used to sing this song at Stadium Theatre in late ‘40s early ‘50s. Sang to my partner Alice. Im 81 now & I remember it all.
I am 56 years old and this song has absolutely no significance to me, but I was walking my dog this morning and it popped into my head and I was humming it for two miles. I got home and played your version and I really like it.
Man, this brings back some memories. I'm 51 (quick math: born in Nov '71) and grew up watching a _lot_ of the old movies and cartoons. I don't know if I ran into this on Betty Boop, or Popeye, or Tom and Jerry, or Bugs Bunny, probably all of them, but it really does the heart good to hear it again! ❤ (Man, now I'm gonna have to dig up some old Max Fleischers...)
I'm 64 and I totally know that song. Not sure how but probably from my grandmother who was born in 1900 and was 20 years old when this song probably came out
I remember this song being sung by Bud and Kelly on married with children while Kelly was standing behind Bud slapping and grabbing at his face then they get into a fight and rolling on the floor while still singing the song , it was hilarious ….
Thanks to my mother when I was a child, this is the old song that I always hear in my head when I look at pics of Becky. ua-cam.com/video/aIADUKZnRuc/v-deo.htmlsi=HeqCU18mtleUFgSw
I remember my Granny singing this to me as a child :)

First song I sang to my newborn daughter in 2011 at the hospital now she is 11 and listening to this video ❤️
I’m singing it to my pregnant daughter’s belly tomorrow- gently tapping the beat too! 🎶😊
I just thought of this song this morning. It's a tune that I've known my whole life, but I don't know any of the lyrics except the first line.
Just like it was sung and recorded in 1926. Impressive!
wonderful, spry, invigorating!!!!

Sad to hear that the song has no significance to you at age 56. Have you been living under a rock?
@@joeclectic ¿...?
Brings me back to 1926 when dad was seven and this house was being built.
A beautiful voice and a welcome moment of time travel!
Thank you! ✨

A classic I remember hearing in the 60s as a kid. I think Jagger stole some moves off this dude, 2:01.
His sweet little baby face! Awwwwe
Some boy used to sing this to me every time he see me, must’ve been about 15 😂
I'll get justice for you Mama 🙏💗
