Outlaws looks great…but y’know…Ubisoft.
To be fair, massive is one of the more promising Ubisoft studios. The division games aren’t perfect but they show a lot of potential, and this new Star Wars game is strictly single player too which is nice
We know…
It’s important to note that Lucasfilm has a lot of control over development of games in their franchise. It would be a very poor decision if Lucasfilm allowed this to be another ubisoft cookie-cutter style game. I think this is also great for ubisoft, because they could see the potential in spending more time on creating fleshed out experiences within a set universe and could lean into it more with their future games. Hopefully a win-win for everyone involved, and I hope Star Wars Outlaws turns out great!
@@alexm4163a ubisoft single palyer game means nothing they will always force microtransactions and some online connection. I just don’t trust Ubisoft anymore.
A modern "Empire at War" is all I've wanted for ever.
I don't think it's entirely unrealistic considering Age of Empires 4 was released and the last game was from 2005...

There is also an 8th star wars game being produced. It's a simulation game where you play as hello greedo making videos after video about the star wars special editions. The goal is to make the perfect video so that lucasfilm releases the unaltered original trilogy in 4k.

Here's hoping Outlaws marks a new era for Star Wars games, this list sounds great! Then again, if the changing film schedule is anything to go by: we might still need to wait until Lucasfilm decides what it wants to do with the Star Wars universe next.

I am hoping for kotor and the skydance and also the first person and strategy game and the eclipse game as well I also wished that they would have continued the force unleashed series
The fps star wars game sounds awesome since tgey are taking inspuration from Dark forces it could be pretty cool

Id like a Star Wars Republic at War game to rival Empire at War (best strategy game ever). Use of clone troopers, arcs, commandos, commando droids, SBDs, battle droids, droidekas, etc would be epic.
CIS villains would be Ventress, Grievous (who deploys with two magna guards when upgraded and four when fully upgraded), and Dooku. Republic heroes would be Anakin, Obi Wan, and Mace Windu.
In space, heroes would be Ahsoka, Anakin, and Admiral Yuraen. Villains would be Ventress, Cad Bane, and Admiral Trench. Each planet would have soace stations and there would be tech phases.
Tech phases:
Republic-
1= acclimator assault ships, torrent class b wing fighters, y-wings
Clone troopers phase 1, arc troopers, clone commandos, saber tanks, ATTEs
2= arquiton lightncruisers, new acclimator upgrades
Clone jet troopers, AT-RTs, clone gunners, laser tanks, flamethrower troopers
Clones armor automatically changes to match each environment. In Tatooine, they have yellow stripes. On Coruscant, they have red stripes. At Utapau, they orange stripes.
3= Republic venators, arc fighters replace torrent b wings
Phase 2 clone upgrade, Clone troopers with blast shields and pistols, ec grenades for clone troopers
4= V-wings unlocked, shielding upgrades
Shadow troopers unlocked, juggernaunts
5= super star destroyer prototype available, AT-AT prototype available
Juggernaunt upgrades, clone blaze troopers unlocked
Separatists-
1= Droid control ships, droid starfighters, battlefront 2003 CIS gunships
Battle droids, SBDs, droidekas, AATs, hailfire droids, spider droids, dwarf spider droids
2= Munificient frigates, vulture droid upgrade over starfighters
Commando driods, chameleon droids, assassin probe droids, jetpack battle droids, crab droids
3= Droid gunship upgrade (more powerful version in ROTS), dreadnaughts
Sniper droids, jetpack SBDs instead of battle droids, SBDs get wrist rockets, snail tanks
4= range upgrades, droid tri fighters
Ultra droids, grappling droids, carbon freeze gun battle droids
5. Dreadnaught upgrades
Ultra droid upgrades, jedi hunters, CIS anti-air tanks
Can’t wait for Outlaws and Eclipse

Outlaws looks amazing hopefully it has side quests and I hope one day we get KOTOR 3
I didnt know about Respawn FPS, but Outlaws and the "not confirmed yet, but obviously in development" part 3 of the Fallen Order trilogy are my most desired right now (And GOD, i wish HARD about a new ship fighting game, like Rogue Squadron, but my wet dream is an Star wars dogfighting game made by the team behind Ace Combat)
Can we get a game where we play as a member of the council, and our decisions effect the core and outer worlds. A changing environment with multiple endings.
The Respawn shooter sounds interesting
We need a clone wars game where each squad has their own story amd you play through the entire clone wars. Like you play as rex from the start of his life until order 66
The Star Wars ragtag game that got canceled was Star Wars 1313 and I heard that they are working on a game to put some stuff that was in that game in to a game that they are currently working on I would love to play it if it ever comes out
Outlaws, definitely, would mind an Empire at War remake or at least a new game like it
i played kotor1 on the original xbox and just started playing it again on steam recently a remake of the game would be legendary hopefully the actually go through with it.

All these games are either on rails, force you to play as their protagonist, or both. I want a Star Wars game that is open world, create any character you want, and has co-op.

Itll probably never happen but I still hold onto the pathetic hope that we cpuld still get 1313 one day. If the Final Season of Clone Wars taught us anything, its that anything is possible 🤞

We will just have a bunch of narrative driven singleplayer games, that's cool, but something like an rpg open word would be really cool i think

Star Wars Hunters has made me super unhappy on how long Zumba is taking to release I feel like I can’t even trust them with global launch and the longevity of the game with how they handled it
I feel like they should just create a Star Wars game kinda like the division but with fighting all the factions.
Minecraft just released a new VR Star Wars thing..
I just will always want a cross platform game where you make your own character and play in one huge sandbox with all the other players from around the world and you have players just being whomever they wanna be. + try have some Esport aspect in the game where players compete like League of Legends or something, try and bring that League of Legends competitiveness into a casual MMO so the game has something for everybody.
And they should also Carl Sagan the shit out of the 'Space' in Space because real Space as a character is much more fascinating than a lovecraftian fantasy style of Space. they could take inspiration from JWST and modern astronomy the Star Systems & other astronomical bodies that make our varied and wonderful universe & mix that into what Star Wars already has to make the game map the most interesting space game map ever built.

theres a world of smaller units and not as popular stuff like the imperial army and so, imagine it where everyone of your units can fucking die, hope it inst just here buffed out player units vs dumb enemies

Star Wars Explained has already come out with a statement saying they will not be buying or reviewing Eclipse due to the involvement of David Cage. I hope you will understand or even share in that decision.

EA held the Star Wars license hostage for years….they did nothing with it until recently. Glad Star Wars can be used by all developers now….
I can do without all of these games. Give me a sequel or a remake of the republic commando, a remake of empire at war, and a battlefront that doesnt suck.

The KotOR remake should be canceled, because it doesn't need a REMAKE. Remaster at best. Update the engine and graphics and leave it alone otherwise, why ruin perfection?

I loved Star Wars… I grew up with it. I can’t stress how much I loved it…. Disney destroyed Star Wars, I hate everything Disney because of it. One thing you can take to the bank… if Disney has ANYTHING to do with these games, they’ll be horrific. Outlaws looks horrible….. a linear game, claiming to be open world, with a trans main character and I’m positive a healthy dose of “the message”. Hard pass.
