Lake Michigan Scenic Flight in the Diamond DA62

We loaded up the DA62 with four adults and baggage, and our yellow Lab, Luna. After a fuel stop in Merrill, Wisconsin, we flew over Lake Michigan, the Straits of Mackinac and Mackinac Island en route to spending a few days with a friend at his island camp on Lake Huron.
It was a beautiful day for flying.

i didnt realize how big Lake Michigan was! holy cow!
after going to AMT school and getting my A&P its funny how i just name the different parts of the airplane now lol
