I dont believe there is a pilot alive that has a comparable passion for flying to this guy. If Skip had been provided, early on, the sponsorship his talent deserved, we mayve never heard nearly so much of Sean Tucker. This is truly one of the nicest humans on the planet to boot. I dont know if hes ever had a bad day, but I suspect meeting him on his worst, youd still think you've just met your new best friend. Ive been fortunate enough to have met him personally many years ago when he flew in some Jackson Tn airshows that a company my wife worked for sponsored, even got to take a ride with him in Greg Byrds 2 hole Extra once. Admittedly I had to lie down for a bit afterwards to stop the world from spinning, but it is still a treasured memory. If youve never witnessed Skip pulling 12 & pushing 7 @ 18" off the deck in Prometheus at a live event, the show is absolutely incredible and worth a few hours of driving to experience it. Rock & Roll Skip!
So Cool Skip! This video allows the viewer to see the incredible skill, concentration, g-forces, narrow margins, etc involved in airshow flying at the highest level which you're the master. Keep up the great flying my friend.
Skip you are an amazing man, this stuff is incredible and you have a new number 1 fan right here. I'll definitely be looking more I to you guys, I'd love to see it you in person. God keep this man safe while he's in the air doing what he was meant to do, Amen.
Awesome video and it reminds me of a late friend of mine Jim Leroy in the Bulldog at our little airport in Northeast Mississippi where you had to be there to believe it. Awesome video Skip. 👍🏻👍🏻
I just saw a video of a guy Paul Bennet from Australia in a Yellow Pitts he named the Wolf and I broke down Brother... I miss Jim. I grew up in Arkansas and grew up with Jim and Bulldog, Skip and Prometheus and Mike Rinker and the SU26 Pink Floyd.
Last time I talked with Skip he told me that he'd never change his style... Jim knew how to put on a show... I'm glad Skip Stewart vowed to keep Jim's flying alive. I know I'll never forget him either Bubba... God Bless 🖖🏻
I seriously don't know a word that I can use to describe how this video left me feeling! Watching a performance like this is one thing but watching from this point of view takes it to another level. You are amazing and your skills aren't too shabby either 😉😉! Thank you for the video. Stay safe!
Impressive to see the amount of g-force these guys endure on an average display, one can't help but to wonder how's the state of fatigue after such a day's work....most definitely a unique skill!
Como me hubiera gustado haber podido volar un avión de estos!!! Con la Bücker y el T-6 hice lo que pude, pero no pude gozar de estos aparatos!!! Sniff, sniff...
Hey skip I hope to looking to see you at the great Texas Airshow in 2024 at San Antonio Texas I Saw your performance at Wings Over South Texas I’m going to Wings Over Houston I thought you were gonna perform there but found out your not I Loved your performance I hope to see you in San Antonio Texas
Thank you! Unfortunately i am booked in Santiago Chile the same weekend as San Antonio. Bummer. Would love to be there! Although I will be performing in Laredo Texas Feb24-25th.
On the ground looking up it looks like a Blast. I was very fortunate to have gone through an entire routine in my friends Pitts. Don't get me wrong on this that was fun but damn it took me hours to get my head and body back to normal. These guys and women are in shape and tough as nails. We pulled 8 G's for a short while coming out of a dive. It takes a certain type to fly this way. Dedicated, Personal expectations which of the highest, and a little crazy.
A guy needs to be in pretty good physical condition to play this game 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🔥 Thank you for sharing this video. Very enjoyable. (I'm an old retired helicopter pilot)
Now That's What I'm TALKING ABOUT!!.... WHOA NELLY!! Can you imagine what WW2 fighter pilots must have felt like flying those P47 P51..P38 F4U must have a been a BLAST!! And with all that power up front Man oh Man!! Great Video!!! 🐦...
Do you have a block heater on the engine to preheat or was the engine recently ran before you started? Seemed there was minimal run-up straight into a full power routine.
This is so cool! Skip, is there be possible for you to record a flight like this one day in a Pitts S-1 or a Christen Eagle 2? When you can come back to Brazil!!!! :D
Wow you can really see the negative G’s in your leg muscles! The YAHHHh was great, I make the same noise every time I barely miss a set of wires or trees.
Excellent video. Watching this I was thinking that "energy management" has a whole new meaning when you've got over 300 ponies stuffed into the cowling of a Pitts...
I think most people don't realize just how insane this skill really is
the margin of error that he has is insane 3-4'
We have people like u to inform us lmao
Your absolutely right!!!
Absolutely nutty! Guarantee almost everyone doesn’t realize how insane this is. The hours this dude has under his belt is probably bonkers

I don't know how the plane flies that fast with his massive steel balls
So Cool Skip! This video allows the viewer to see the incredible skill, concentration, g-forces, narrow margins, etc involved in airshow flying at the highest level which you're the master. Keep up the great flying my friend.
8:39 The snap roll at ground level... Holy moly.

Congratulations you are a master of stunts, simply incredible 👏🏻
I used to think you made it look easy from the outside, now I see you're more like a metal guitar player making his amp explode in epic fashion.

Now That's What I'm TALKING ABOUT!!....

Good Luck forever!🎉
Si t'es pas passé à 5ans dans la machine à laver de ta mère en position " essorage " ... t'es mort !
Is there 2 throttles on these? I see the red and blue (prop I assume) but are these areobats different?
Honestly it looks like even more fun from inside the cockpit.
Do you have a block heater on the engine to preheat or was the engine recently ran before you started? Seemed there was minimal run-up straight into a full power routine.

Is this Insta360 on what kind of mount?
I can't believe this guy is real, saw him at OSH and my mind was blown!
Hey Skip ; this is Roger Smart. Letting you know I am now living back in PNS.
Wow you can really see the negative G’s in your leg muscles! The YAHHHh was great, I make the same noise every time I barely miss a set of wires or trees.
Holy smokes. The takeoff and the low pass he was hauling the mail. I bet he is wore smooth out after his performance especially from the G forces.
👍👍👍👋👋👋💪💪🇸🇪
Inverted low pass is one of my favorite things to see from outside the cockpit, but that looks terrifying from inside at that speed! 😱
👍👍👍👍👍🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
yeaahhh..😜😎💪
FUCKEN AWESOME !!!!
Hi. Better keep at least 3000 feets minimum. Bravoo, thank you! ❤
Balls of Steel
As a 11years experienced helicopter pilot, I even don't understadnd his flight skills. . .
how Keep conscious and make beautiful manuvers
it’s amazing what humans can do
this is beyond insane. speechless lol

Excellent video. Watching this I was thinking that "energy management" has a whole new meaning when you've got over 300 ponies stuffed into the cowling of a Pitts...
Tha plane is?
Wide Open! That motor is singing
at minute one I passed out 😮
just crazy
Skip, what is the purpose of chopping the throttle on the knife edge takeoff since you immediately go back to full throttle?
I asked him this once, he said "Because it sounds cool". Skip is a legend.
Pilot , Plane and Pistons giving it all the gallops.
This is fucking wild!
elite
He's going to bite his tongue off !
Tongue waggling power 😝
sou good
Now this is podracing
How many times have you bit your tongue?
this is legit air Jordan.... i mean tongue in air :)
the type of skill it takes though 😰
'How was your day"?
Tell me you have a grandpa vet of the pacific front without saying it:
But the drink service on this flight is hopeless. :)
Piece of cake
Sir, I didn't see a preflight. lol. jk
And I'm scared of a bit of turbulance on commercial flights smh
Did the same manoeuvre ten times 😂😂
I want to be skip stewart
This performance is literally art
