Adrian, I watched you produce this engine video by video and I must admit this is by far the nicest model steam engine that exists. Doll engines were so well made, I wish they were still producing engines. It’s hard to find ones that are in good working order. You’d never want to sell this but I’m sure there’s folk out there willing to pay $10,000 USD for this. Amazing work.
No more Mr. Nice-Guy!😂 I find your attention to detail a refreshing change to the "close enough" school of thought. It works very smoothly. I still think you need to build an entire miniature factory for it to power, though. Think about it. Miniature lathes, miniature saws, miniature milling machines. All driven by a steam engine, an overhead drive shaft and a lot of pulleys. It should only take two or three...lifetimes!🤣 Seriously, I'm really impressed with your work.
Well I am quite intriqued by the PM research series of castings for model shop machines - but first, I'll build another couple of steam engines - all at its time
So muß en Dampfmaschin lope. Da häse jod gemat ;)))
Your build is perfect. The engine runs so smoothly at a slow speed, and at a steady pace. Excellent. I have enjoyed the series. I hope one day you will have another steam model build.
Well, the plans for the next one are already printed. Might take a while until I find the time to tackle it, though, as I have a bunch of other stuff to do first
Glad I found your channel - very entertaining - music is sublime - keep the videos coming - especially the Model A stuff- greetings from Virginia Beach 🏖
Thank You for sharing with us -- the Bluing of your screws there reminded me of when I had to Temper / Draw back steel in heat treating --- had to watch closely the color of the metal not to go right by what was needed -- Thanks Again ---- Rodney
great job. i think the burner holes are too large. i have a 362 all Original I can send pictures. Seems they were manufactured as 2 or 3 burner. later manufacture seems to be a 2. i think i posted my burner being unclogged but im sure the holes are too big and its messing with vaporization. great engine u did great
If you can, why not make a video of the engine - Doll 362s are a rare sight on youtube! I've decided not to tamper with this burner anymore, but the next engine I plan to build will also need a burner, so it's probably wise to already collect intel.

Seeing run so slow is just magnificent

Thanks! I hope there'll be something to report regarding the A in the near future.

Nice collection of steam engines.

It's March! Time for Model A engine rebuild! 😉
You’re amazing!
Thanks :)
Hello, what was the piece of music you used in the beginning of the video? Its a absolute jive!
Good question - I don't know!
I found it on this video: ua-cam.com/video/zZ1kOrGNQ-8/v-deo.html
but couldn't find out the name of the song, sadly.
@@AstraWerke I managed to find out what song it is. It is "Hold Your Hat" by Artie Shaw.
@@Thekris0927 Thanks for letting me know! :D
Now that this one is ready to go, time to build a new one:)
You betcha, plans for the next one are already made :D

So how many horse power does it generate?
All of em
2:35 Why not cut gears? The friction fit isn't very good even working properly.
The relation of work needed and purpose fulfilled just wasn't there for me.
Not the approach I would expect from you on fixing the governor. This is very poor craftmanship and I expect much more then a short cut Harry.
Well, what kind of a fix DO you expect?
