  • We've made a very detailed video here showcasing all of the new features we've added to our CNC3D Commander suite.
Our objective has always been simple; Create the most user friendly and feature rich GRBL control software possible.
If you have any suggestions on improvements or to report bugs, click on the help section within Commander to give us any feedback via our forum or via our dedicated Commander Facebook group.
For those interested in trying it out for the first time you can view our CNC3D Commander page here:

We did miss the part about our extremely handy probing wizard in this video as we have a separate video on it here:

      Hi Aaron,
We have made a blog post regarding this,
      www.cnc3d.com.au/post/important-notice-commander-update
Please see the updated post afterwards where Microsoft has cleared our software of any issues and approved our program as safe.

@@Aaron.A22 It has always been a challenge in the last 5 years for software to emerge on the market, there are so many restrictions imposed by Microsoft and apple to ensure their users are safe. It can be difficult to predict a new threat which is why Microsoft had flagged our software as the updater downloads another file from our web server and then renames it on the back end. They interpreted this as malicious. Now that we have been approved this issue should be resolved.

I know there are tough times, and there are also many problems with security.
I just asked the question to find out.
For my part I will share your program with friends so that more people know it,
there was really a need for such a program, where everything can be configured.
      Thanks.

Merci. Il prend déjà en charge le 4ème axe. Allez simplement dans le menu "Paramètres" et choisissez Afficher le 4ème axe. Cela fonctionnera alors automatiquement. Bonne chance et profitez-en :)

Hello again, I was able to test the software and it detected my cnc which is a Proverxl4030 from Genmitsu .
The software worked fine I only used it to move the cnc, test the parameters, the sensors etc.
But I would like to tell you about a problem that I had with my cnc controller, It seems that my cnc controller is sensitive to voltage changes because if I disconnected or turned on any equipment in my house, the cnc machine would stop working ... and the work had to be thrown away.
I tell you this because maybe you can add to your software that in case of a g-code error or if the power fails, the software gives us the possibility to start the work where it left off.
I think that would be a plus point in its software since because of my experience I began to search on this topic and discovered in various forums that many people have had similar problems ... Well it is just a suggestion.
Greetings and thanks for the work you are doing.👋🏼

      Hi Aaron,
If you have homing enabled it may be worthwhile taking advantage of G28.
G28 is a fixed position based on machine coordinates that lets you have an exact place to go to. If you are at your job zero after homing and send G28.1 it will save that spot in EEPROM. When you want to travel back there from a failure, simply home the machine and send "G28 X0 Y0" then send "G28 Z0". this will safely travel above the work piece on X and Y and then the second command will drop the Z to the Z zero starting position. Alternatively, if it's safe to do so, you can issue "G28" on it's own and it will travel all 3 axes to the G28 saved position.
This may not be the ultimate solution regarding resuming from exactly where you left off but at least you can air cut your way back through the job.
      I Hope this helps!
      - Dave
