When you're using the banana technique try holding the natural lash stable and peeling the extension away from the natural lash. I noticed you doing vice versa. Theyll usually pop right off and it doesnt cause the NL to bend. ☺

I LOVE the tape on the outer corner of the eye and then lifting the lashes up and taping them to get EVERY lash!! Great technique...I’m going for lash certification on March 10th and I can’t wait❤️
Thank you for this video! I have a question: the last few times I had my lashes refilled my beautician seems to have used not just tweezers to remove grown out lashes but also scissors ... I found this a little worrying. Is this normal?
I just love watching the skill in applying lashes. My question is that do your clients have to have a patch test just in case they react badly to lash glue?
Robert Wares most of the time there’s a waver you can sign to say you acknowledge that no patch test have been done but your happy for the treatment to go ahead. But a lot of stand alone lash techs don’t really do this but do provide after care should anything go wrong

Do you ever use a small amount of remover for some lashes? I try removing extensions from the roots or banana peel method, but sometimes I’ll have those stubborn ones that just won’t budge (maybe too much glue?) and I’ll put a lil gel remover on my tweezer to kinda shimmy/loosen up the glue. And then I’ll clean it again with an applicator soaked in alcohol and primer. My boss is really against that and says it still affects the retention. But every time I try to remove it with tweezers I can tell my clients feels uncomfortable. What are your thoughts?
Why do you use London lash pro cleaner and primer but different glue? I’ve been having issues with primers sometimes I don’t use any and the lashes stay on nicely other occasions they don’t. I have mixed feelings on primers for the lashes and wonder if maybe it’s the glue.

Yes it definitely can affect their retention! It is something I ask them on their first appointment- what is their skin care routine, do they use oil based products? If they say yes, I make sure to set them up with a Lash Shampoo for daily cleansing as well as tell them to avoid the eye area as best as they can if they want the best retention :)

1. You all should be using a medical grade magnifying lense with a bright light and Medici grade tools to actually grab the hairs better and not damage the natural lashes. Now I know why this ruins the natural lash so much. I have been to hundred of salons that do this and seen the equipment station and no one has proper tools to see the lashes and remove them extensions at a higher quality then this.
That’s what I was wondering too! I actually gave one of my friends a free volume set just so I could experiment with this glue. It doesn’t work as well as other glues. I had to hold the fan to dry for about 10 secs and dip a bit again to attach... the fans fall otherwise 😅 as for retention, it’s been a week and she says it still looks like a new set 😁

Add a note with the lengths you used in your booking software after their appointment! Or on a calendar, then check it before every appointment 😊

3-4 weeks is normal! Usually clients get fills every 2-3 weeks 😊

I’ll be trying this glue soon. They actually are sending me one for free to try out. I was told it works for classic and volume, so we’ll see.
