i just saw this recently (October, 2021). It was pretty good! I kept with it and didn't do my usual flipping around at different channels.
Do you recall the scene where the thesis scene with the fake disemboweled dog? The starlet actress who was to go to Hollywood for a role in ER was hamming it up with some bad acting and the crew and director were becoming frustrated. The slate girl said "TAKE FIFTY F*ING NINE!" I thought that very funny!
I like the whole movie. Not an Academy Award winner, but a decent flick that was entertaining.
@@jas22 Yes! It is so good. I think that this movie is forgotten or belittled because there’s a stigma around horror movies in the 90s that any slasher besides scream was bad
@@jdiegoskinny and a totally unfair stigma. Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Urban Legend, Valentine, Cherry Falls, H20.... and some of their sequels... all amazing.
@@yoni5570 I saw Cherry Falls and all I can say is you must've seen a totally different film to me lol. That being said I agree Urban Legend 1 and to some degree 2 are classics.
Though I like the outfit of Brendas better I do have to say this outfit does have an odd charm to it. It’s different . Makes the killer feel like he isn’t human almost. And it’s cool seeing his breathe through the mask. Adds to the creepiness of it.
This movie haunted my brain during so many years! Because I loved it so much and I was just not able to remember the title since, but always remembered the whole plot, the school looks and many many scenes, but when I was talking about this movie to many horror movie fans like me, nobody was able to found the title.. now I finally found it on a Wikipedia movie list setting in schools!! And Im so happy Imma watch it again tonight, I happy now I know I wasn't crazy haha!
Professor Solomon's costume is iconic. Goes so well with the fencing mask.

I don't understand why that Star monster mask wasn't use as the Killer mask cause the killer mask that was use in the whole film is lame and not scary. But the star monster mask looks more intimidating.
The simplicity of the actual costume is actual better in my opinion the clown mask in this scene is too much
The darkness and the blankness of the mask makes it unnerving and kinda creepy for some people
The fish mask and overall costume in this scene would probably be considered a little too similar to Ghostface's costume in the Scream films if this costume had been the main one.

That mask was always scary to me and the way he was just standing there made it scarier
Yeah that mask has always been scary to me fr! And then to discover people use it for fencing I was like 😮😮 but I seen this so young
And this scene alone the piano play is terrifying and reminds me of the scooby episode with the creeped in a way.
His mask look like a microphone or a fencing mask the one you acting like playing sword fight.

Why does he keep playing with the piano? And the star monster mask gives me the chills it's so creepy looking
To heighten the loudness of the sound in the room and therefore lure Amy out of the darkness.
That part gives me CHILLS!!!! It was the reason why I loved it so much that piano part 🔥🔥🔥🔥
