They did do one thing right with this remake, they made sure you rooted for the main girl to live. I mean its a real testament to her character, that she knew that the other girl in the store with her was sleeping with her husband, but tried to protect her anyways.
Also another thing they did is basically introduced my bloody valentine like remakes like halloween, friday the 13th,texas chainsaw massacre, and a nightmare on elm street arw basically films that everyone knows including kids in specially the costumes in halloween stores but my bloody valentine not everyone knows hell even this film introduced to the original
@@moreme40She pretty much did know. Megan more or less told her right before the shenanigans started in the store. She connected the dots really fast, you could see in her face when Megan said “But he’s not anymore” Sarah knew what she meant by that.
Now that's something you don't see in very many slasher movies. A serial killer who actually runs (not power-walks or shambles slowly, like M. Myers or Jason) after his victims. Also, the audience sees him go down a different aisle when chasing the girl (somewhere around 1:55-1:58), so it makes sense for him to "suddenly" appear in the next aisle in front of her.
This scene was very well put together. 0:32 - a creepy shot of Harry Warden standing at the end, pickaxe at the ready - gave me the creeps when I saw this.
Diego Brooks well, the meat was frozen, that certainly packs a punch, and I guess he just wasn't expecting the mop XD Bet he took a moment to just look at her like, "WTF? Really, bitch, a mop? That's the best you can do? It's a convenience store, there are knives and kitchen utensils in the next aisle." (I had fun imagining his facial expression without the berserk rage lol)
The Miner could have just thrown the axe while all three of them were going through the hallway and killed one of them; he's got good enough aim to do it and they were literally feet in front of him. But no, just have him wait until the door is shut to attack...
I saw this movie at the theaters with my mom & my little sister who was 2 at the time & me being 12 & we were not expecting what we thought cause we thought it was a PG13 movie🤣🤣🤣
I do know about that one guy from the movie called a nightmare on elm Street and he's a serial killer. His name was Freddy and he wore a black hat, a striped shirt and had a creepy look on his face and he had knivess for his fingers on his right hand. And I think he killed about maybe 284 people.
I first heard about My Bloody Valentine when I was 6, and this was the first scene I saw in the film But actually, how I heard about it? Let's just say that I once caught my brother and a friend of his watching this
I don't understand.. I mean the killer wasn't even real.. you could see that at the end of this movie🤔🤔 it was only that crazy guy who just imagined that the killer was after them.. in the end.. no one could see the killer.. or I don't know.. maybe I'm just confused😞😞🙂🙂
It was Tom, he had split personality disorder, I assume whenever he became "Harry" he would put on the costume and when he returns to himself he doesn't remember anything.
I like this scene and movie overall but the little cliches bother me like I get it’s an 80s throwback but cmon now😂😭 and it’s easy fixes… if they showed Megan mopping that aisle earlier in the scene it explains why Sarah’s slippin n slidin into the door and falls on the ground… and builds more suspense and would foreshadow Megan attacking with the mop. Boom! Two issues in this scene solved (and makes Sarah look less stupid😭) same wit her putting her face by the door, whyyyy tf?🤧💀🤣🤣 have her trying to lock the door and it just comes at her inches away, I think little fixes would’ve went a long way makin the characters look smarter and the movie scarier 😭still wouldn’t mind a sequel tho
One TV network showed this on TV yesterday, on Valentine's Day. I watched it. I personally didn't think it was a good movie. The main question I had running through my head throughout this entire movie is that the serial killer murdered so many people in that small town in such horrific ways. He killed so many people, and yet the small town police didn't think of asking more police, etc. to help them out? If THAT MANY people died in one town because of one serial killer, then wouldn't it make sense for a S.W.A.T. team or additional police units from other surrounding towns & cities be asked or requested to help catch the serial killer? To me, this movie just wasn't scary. It was mostly gory, exploitative - the many minutes of nudity, and mostly for shock factor - see how many ways people can be killed and mutilated. It was too unrealistic (I think the most scary movies are the ones that are more realistic) and I was dumbfounded why the small town police seemed kind of stupid & didn't ask for additional units outside of their town to help & assist. I think this movie was more for shock & gore factor - the nudity of one female for many minutes, and the gory way many of the people were killed. It was hard to believe that one person did all of that. Very unrealistic. JMO.
One its not a real story. And two it's happening in a small city and since it's a small city most tend to solve things on their own since other cities may have the same amount or fewer police officers. Plus I don't think many would know of little cities like these and would care to help since there are other serial killers out there.
I figured out why this movie is bad in tht whole scene they probably spent 3/4 of the budget just for product placement do they didn't have much to work with
They did do one thing right with this remake, they made sure you rooted for the main girl to live. I mean its a real testament to her character, that she knew that the other girl in the store with her was sleeping with her husband, but tried to protect her anyways.
I thought they nailed Harry Warden of actually being scary, I never give a shit about any one else but the killer.
I'd say they did better having her know that. So many they'd write as naive enough to not even suspect such a thing.
She didn’t know at this point in the movie
@@moreme40She pretty much did know. Megan more or less told her right before the shenanigans started in the store. She connected the dots really fast, you could see in her face when Megan said “But he’s not anymore” Sarah knew what she meant by that.

Ghostface runs
The killer in Prom Night (1980) also runs
@FollowerOfJesus 101 Jason also runs in part 2 and 3
Sounds like we need a compilation of killers that ran. 😂 you know, I think Freddy jogged a little in the original movie too.
@@yellowpsychopath he also runs in the remake
I love this chase scene. It's got a Scream vibe
Same me too
This scene was very well put together. 0:32 - a creepy shot of Harry Warden standing at the end, pickaxe at the ready - gave me the creeps when I saw this.
That is a fairly large man ladies I'm surprised you damaged him with meat and a mop lol
You can count on a lady when it comes to food and cleaning products.
So a ghost shoved her into the freezer door as she was running and made her trip? Lmao
Solid meat is a lot tougher than you think
"There's nobody here..." *power fails* You was sayin'?
Harry warden, tough as nails, and one of the only few serial killer that are not supernatural powers
I'm making a costume of him
Not Supernatural watch the movie again
@@cnarhatrnaz3561He specifically said he is not supernatural. However, the killer is not Harry, so his comment is still off base.
Supermarkets always freak me out! This was such a great scene.
Same here lol
Why do they freak you guys out?
Frozen meat is heavy and hard, you can definitely hurt someone with a large piece
They were so close to the door at the beggining they should've scape when they had the time !!! knowing That was a serial Killer in the Town
That's why I don't like working at grocery stores
There is always the wierd guy at the end of the aisle!
This movie really struck gold with the chase scene
They should make my bloody valentine Part 2 😂
Exactly they need a sequel tom survived at the end Jensen ackles
Yes but I hope not with dumb characters like the ones in this video smh
It was canceled
It's funny see Jensen Ackles as the bad guy.
Landon Turner Movie’s been out since 2009....
He also played a bad guy on Smallville.
@@Deathstroke3K and he also become red hood
Watched it first time yesterday and I was shocked he was the killer
One of the few villains I’ve even seen actually run in a chase seen
When she hit the fridge while she ran away like if gravity pushed her lol
Isn’t it funny how Harry cuts Megan’s mop in half I almost die every time
Oh my god! Harry warden looks so scary in this scene.
This remake may not be that good, but I can’t even deny how awesome this scene is!
it had so many amazing scenes and I will never take that away from it
Not sure what you mean. This was a pretty good movie even for a remake.
@@FreshSpecimens I personally don’t think it’s that good. It feels too much like a soap opera to me.
@@adalynnshorrorworld2242This one and the original both definitely had a lot of love drama going on. 🤣

An Megan who safed a life of a other surviver? Im proud of you meg thomas
2:20 Mop vs Pickaxe! XD
2:18 why in every horror movie people always trip over nothing?
My favorite scene
I could watch this movie for this chase scene alone. The one at the end is pretty good too.
Hates the scene where she gets killed.
I’m so glad I watched it. :)
I actually LOVED IT. I don’t care if it contains blood scenes. XD
I haven't seen the original MBV but i watched this (the remake) a while ago with my sister.. Thought it was pretty good!!!
The original is really good too. I like them both.
Your stuck
I bet rob zombie would say . Harry warden is no Michael Myers but he’s still a crazy killer
As a person who works a night crew in a grocery store I always think of this scene at night every night
BBYGURL runs fast like me
My bloody valentine Part 2 Please 😣
I'm sorry but they can't.
1:51 I always cracked up at the way the camera focuses on him.
I love this movie 💜💕😍
As cheesy as this remake is, it is a fun one to watch. This scene made me laugh when the skank chick kept screaming 😂
Saaame
I like it
2:28 , awesome idea to have him slash the chocolates
2:18 what a surprise basic horror movie girl trips over nothing clichè
Jason Rhodes yea this movie has a lot of clichés
It’s to draw the suspense they do that on purpose
What? Did her legs decide to just stop for no reason? That really is Cliche. A Banana Peel would have been allot more convincing.
@@TM-rl1nsThey had been mopping the floor.
Why couldn't they just ran out of the store lmao I would even if it means getting fired
Heather Vandergeld what are u doin?that is not your family
She’s a mix of Emma stone and Lindsay Lohan
Got that right.
Running from killer sees a serpent room stop turns around and looks back
i was hoping tom would come and save her. but turns out tom was there to kill her
As opposed to the original where Tom was the good guy
If she threw a piece of meat at him why couldn't she have grabbed a big ass frozen turkey or a pineapple LoL!

It was Tom, he had split personality disorder, I assume whenever he became "Harry" he would put on the costume and when he returns to himself he doesn't remember anything.
use a mop to attack the guy with a pickaxe real smart
Well it stalled him for a couple of seconds didn’t it? I’d rather use a mop than a bottle of Coke or something
it worked pretty well…
That part had me dying 😂
It’s what she had on hand. Not sure how that makes her stupid. She took action and saved the other girl instead of running away.
