Two Days On Donner Pass | Amtrak | Union Pacific | BNSF | 6/8-9/24

Over the weekend of June 8 and 9, 2024 a group of 4 of went over the hill to capture trains on Donner Pass. While traffic over the weekend was light, there was still a good little bit of variety to be had.
Two Phase VII P42DCs are seen on California Zephyr Trains 5 and 6, and the BNSF trackage rights trains also makes an appearance. Also of note was the abundance of unrebuilt AC4400s out on the hill the weekend, bring it back to how things were around here in the 2009 - 2014 timeframe.
