I like to imagine this is how Ichiban is going to get as times goes on, would be awesome to have another fight with kiryu in later games where Ichiban gets to shine
Ichi isn't portrayed as a character that will become a Yakuza legend. His entire story is way different, I doubt he'll ever end up like kiryu or majima/saejima. How do I put this, he doesn't exactly have the same mentality of getting to the top and stuff. Nor is he a beast like them. His entire character is about loyalty and friendship and it's kinda like Josuke from Jojo part 4, y'know, the friend character. And that's why I love him so much, Yakuza 7 was such a fresh change. I adore ichi and how his story progressed
@@brandonmorris3746 I’m not gonna lie I despise turn based combat just in my opinion I miss the days when you were having a simple 1 on 1 with a boss and it would be so much more skill based like avoiding damage and stuff here you have healers or character that can heal you anyways
@@THEPISSPALADIN lol how is that any more skill based than a turn based game? In the old games you can literally stock up on items, pause the game and abuse them on-the-fly. In this one, you have to use up a turn to use one health item.
@@kaisersaucy6503 there are ways to cheese any system, with the beat em up you have the option to dodge and not get hit : hence the many no damage boss runs on youtube which make for good shows
Ichiban is definitely one of my favorite yakuza protagonists. I'd love to play as him in a beat em up style game someday although I doubt it'll ever happen
Wasnt part of the reason the Y7 games are turn based because Ichiban is a big dragin quest fan, and also a really fast and tactical thinker? In that case, we might never play as him in a traditional style, but we might one day get to fight him in one

Did anyone else find this fight harder than Kiryu’s fight? Also with Kiryu he doesn’t hit females. Such a gentleman cause I had Eri doing damage, and Saeko as a healer, while me and Joongi Han were getting our asses clapped. Ice attacks melted Kiryus health bar.
This was the first and almost the only fight in this game that made me really use all the resources I had and strategy, in addition to leveling my entire team up to level 55.
Im stuck on chapter 12 fighting majima alone then he clones into purple bastards. Whats the beat team and jobs also that arena with floors when do we gwt checkpoint
All jobs leveler up. Level 99 and not on legend (or ex hard. Whatever its called). It'd be impossible to do this fight on Legend difficulty like this. With freelancer, its possible with a good team on Legend, but by yourself? Get ready for anal.
I don't know about that dude .... Maybe? Kiryu has wiped the floor with Goro for years and saejima has too. Saejima and kiryu had their fight but I don't think kiryu really was too affected, maybe I need to replay 4 to refresh on it
@@raditzhoneyham In both instances that they fought, 4 in the beginning of Saejima’s story and rooftops in 5, which you even get to choose who you want to control in that fight, they end up in draws. I think they are around the same level of strength
@@Alexyahoo10 I could agree to that actually, but I don't think majima would make enough of a difference to push that over the edge. He's probably tied for my favorite character but he's never even come close to beating kiryu in any game

To be specific, some skills in jobs carry over to other jobs. They are marked in red I believe. You can use Reverse German Suplex from freelancer on any job
