i wouldve kept the low E, A and D strings as single strings. i think it would’ve given it some nice bass with the sparkly and starry high end. i think that sound would’ve complimented the style of the guitar. really cool guitar either way tho.
Thank you Tellurian as the child has been playing around some more with the guitar we have actually made the reverse. Keeping the low E,A,D strings as doubles for thick power chords/melody and going single on the high E,B,G strings for nice bends and soloing. The high unison strings does not really add that much in tone with our style of playing as the low octave strings do. your suggestion would probably suit chordal work greatly thanks for the tip
