After a 2 week stint in the hospital I lost 20 lbs of muscle mass. It left me weak. I have always been active. So I started small in the parking lot of our apartment homes complex. As I could I walked further and further. I worked up to 2 miles but found that fatigued me throughout the day so I walk 1.5 miles 5 times a week. I'm planning to incorporate some weight training in to build back muscles in my arms and core.
I love that you started small and worked hard to build up, but also that you found your limit and listened to your body to scale back. Sending you lots of love!
yes my wife survived 8 times she always walked after chemo . we always walked until i end up with very bad arthritis now i.need double replacement she passed away im 2018 from yet another secondary in the brain.
