Absolutely, It's important to remember that animals, even those with fur coats, can struggle with cold temperatures. Taking extra steps to ensure their comfort, like providing warm bedding or shelter, can make all the difference
When they are purring it can be hard to know they are also shivering. My cat came up and got on top of me recently. She was vibrating and at first I thought it was her purring, but I could feel her ears were cold and she was shaking more than she would when purring. She lay down against me and I put my arm and hand over her. In a little while her ears got warm and she stopped shivering (just normal purring vibrations). In a little while she got up and went off to do her cat things, nice and warm.
That's such a sweet and attentive thing to do for your cat! It's true that it can sometimes be hard to tell the difference between purring and shivering, especially since cats often purr when they're feeling a mix of emotions, including cold or even when they’re not feeling well. It's wonderful that you were able to notice the difference and warm her up. Cats definitely feel safe and comforted by their humans, and your presence clearly made her feel cozy again. Thanks for sharing this heartwarming moment!
It is winter now and I made my cat take a bath last day and since then she is not eating and seems very weak and keeps sitting in one place. What could be the meaning of this? Please tell me about us 🙏🏻
Thanks.
😍😍
Great advice. Some people forget that even though they have a fur coat, they get cold too.
😍
