I have never read the Bible. I wouldn't read the new testament if I never read the old testament. The new testament wouldn't make any sense especially if you want someone to believe in its stories. Reading the Book of Mormon without reading the Bible would make no sense to Mormons. You can't tell someone to skip the stories that the other books are referred.

......first of all it is not politics or culture that divided us. it is bible versions , for example , orthodox Christian got 81 books bible. yours is 66 books ., Catholics got 72 books.
