Wow. Just wow. I seen your clouds and I thought “finally someone who paints realistic clouds!”. I never expected to get an art lesson! I am 50 yrs old and I have been trying to paint realistic clouds for years.. I could never ever get it. I have taken many art classes… but I learned more in this 15 min about technique, about light and shadow, depth and perception more than I have in yrs of art classes. I ADORE how you explained the technique, how time of day affects your painting, where colors go and why, everything ! I will be saving this video for reference when I’m painting clouds. Your clouds are amazing too btw… which many many artist cannot paint realistic clouds, and if they can, they aren’t great at tutorials or they make this 2 hour cloud tutorial that’s just ridiculous bc you did it in a small fraction of that time! I am definitely subscribing!
Please make more such informative tutorials! You are the only artist who shares her knowledge completely,that too for free! You don't know how helpful this is for beginners like me😢

So much excellent info! I’ve never seen an explanation of colours and shadows done so well, with so many new ideas for me to consider. And appreciated your fun approach! Subscribing for sure!!!!
Awesome work!! I have always had trouble painting clouds and you make it seem so easy. But, I have tried to recreate this method and it has taken me almost 2 weeks and it just looks so fake. Guess I'm not much of an artist after all . The clouds just don't seem to flow into the background to make it look realistic on my painting. But you are awesome and I will follow you for more hints and ideas

I struggle making a uniform background for the sky. My paintbrush strokes are so obvious. How can I fix that ?
Try wet on wet method. It's really good for blending and creating soft edges

Depends on what you’re trying to do. Look up the qualities of each kind of paint, what artists say about them, how they paint with them, etc.
