Hey Geebz, Justin from Eternity's End here! Big thanks for the reaction and the kind words, it's an honor! 🔥🔥 Check out the full guitar playthrough from me and christian, to see all the guitar madness :D ua-cam.com/video/xmVnGfDlHo0/v-deo.html Cheers :)
Hey Keebz, so the lead guitarist in this band is Christian Munzner who is also the lead player in Obscura once again. There's not too many players who come close to his level of skill as far as shredding goes. If you want to see more of him I'd recommend watching his playthrough for "Solaris" by Obscura, simply mind melting
Wow, I was a first time listener too for this band. I was right with you at the first stop glamming on the bass and then about 7 min in the bassist was like yeah I can play all the guitar parts too. 😀
🤘 Aloha Decomposer! I'm so glad you enjoyed Eternitys End! This band is absolutely incredible and kills it with this album. Christian Münzner is my favorite musician, and it's always great to see others appreciate the excellent music he creates. Love it!
I'm just glad they have the bass mixed where you can actually hear it! This kind of power metal can easily get bright and thin sounding but the more prominent bass puts some meat on the bone.
Loving your channel! I have to suggest you check out the band Alluvial. They put out their first album with vocals a few months ago. 40 Stories is an amazing track I’m sure you’d enjoy. Thanks for all you do!
damn son! I'm not always the one who checks out new stuff but I'm glad you did this one and that I clicked on it! completely nuts! new band to check out! thanks Geebz! aaawright!
Check out some of the new post-punk/avant-rock/experimental rock bands like Black Midi or Black Country, New Road. I think they'll be very intersting for you to review, sonically and compositionally. I would suggest songs like: black midi - Chondromalacia Patella Black Country, New Road - Science Fair
Sounds like a mixture of 70's metal and math metal. How the fuck he play that bass so fast.... im guessing tapping but still.... Reminds me of Charles Berthoud from UA-cam. I want to recommend bands you've never heard but they're a little famous (The smiths - What she said) and there are some no one has heard but they're not making music anymore (Sarah Borgas - a ring in the shape of a heart)... but idk if they fit your rules for new music or not.
parts of the solos reminded me of a sound the nes casrlevania games have. was the music in castlevania influenced from earlier power metal from the 80's? i only really know iron maiden and unleash the archers who also do this kind of style.
One of the old guitarists for this band, Phil Tougas, also plays in a band called First Fragment that would be great to react to. "Le Veuve et Le Martyr" is probably the best track that sums up the band's overall sound in a pretty concise package. You've reacted to bands similar to them, but they have a pretty unique twist to their sound.
Perhaps i'm asking to much here...but can you do a reaction on The Stone Roses'.."I wanna be adored"...I know...most young viewers don't know about the Manchester Scene around the late '80s/early '90s....but this band was actually awesome!!
Hey Geebz Happy Holidays. What is your thoughts on Spit Fire Audio Abbey Road Albion One and BBC Symphony sampling Libraries? Along with Cubase pro11 this my choice aling Waves Mercury plugins ill use to record my albums.
do you want to listen to a great band and a great new song from them? then please do Cold Burn from a band called Culd of Luna, you wont be dissapointed
Not really. Way faster. Maybe the vocals a bit but not the music. This is more like Racer X and other bands. Something between Speed Metal and Power Metal.
Have either of you fellas heard of Means End and their only album, "The Didact"??... If you like Native Construct you'll love Means End... I hear they're working on a new album!

It's so damn good from start to finish.

I would love to see Eternity’s End come to Albuquerque, New Mexico!

I can watch Christian play all day long.
For this album Justin Hombach also joined the band - he makes great UA-cam videos and is an incredible player too!
For those who don’t know, he’s also one of the masterminds behind the solos and riffs in the iconic tech death band Necrophagist.
Eternity's End are the epitome of modern power metal, love that new album so much!!
I just saw this one, I don't know how it slipped through the cracks, loved it ^^/
Same here
You write Dissection in all your reactions....might as well react to the band of same name. Dissection - "Nights Blood" or "Where Dead Angels lie"
I agree, classic shit right there. So is "ceremony of opposites". Cheers.

Please do Dimmu Borgir "Progenies of the Great Apocalypse"
Yes please.

I love Christian. Didn't know he was in this band. Love his alkaloid stuff.
Have to recommend Call of the Valkyries. Best song on Embers of War imo.
Nice! Reminds me of Rhapsody! Awwright!
Hey! Old guys are the best!! I could watch your face as you listen to music for a long, long time
Even if this isn't your style of music - you have to respect this. Damn.
Under Crimson Moonlight from their previous album is great!
I'm just glad they have the bass mixed where you can actually hear it! This kind of power metal can easily get bright and thin sounding but the more prominent bass puts some meat on the bone.
Great to see eternity end here
Please check out "Nevermore - The River Dragon has come"
Loving your channel! I have to suggest you check out the band Alluvial. They put out their first album with vocals a few months ago. 40 Stories is an amazing track I’m sure you’d enjoy. Thanks for all you do!
Now that's what I call power metal, woo-ee!
damn son! I'm not always the one who checks out new stuff but I'm glad you did this one and that I clicked on it! completely nuts! new band to check out! thanks Geebz! aaawright!
Dude, when you get back into listening to bands that were already featured on the channel. Karnivool released their first new song in years!
I don't think I've ever Liked a video so fast and so hard lol... Thanks, Geebz!!
Thanks Geebz
The Warriors - Vital Eyes

Ahhh! I need to slay a dragon now!
Earthless is a great underrated metal jam band, volt rush is a quick 2 minute hit
Sounds like a mixture of 70's metal and math metal. How the fuck he play that bass so fast.... im guessing tapping but still.... Reminds me of Charles Berthoud from UA-cam.

They are both "classical" influenced, from certain composers, hence the similarity
One of the old guitarists for this band, Phil Tougas, also plays in a band called First Fragment that would be great to react to. "Le Veuve et Le Martyr" is probably the best track that sums up the band's overall sound in a pretty concise package. ESPECIALLY if you want some slick bass guitar to nerd out over!
@@joelh870 Dude shreds a fretless bass like it’s nothing! Amazing!
Cool modern take on the classic Iron Maiden heavy/power metal. Not really my go to style of metal, but crazy chops!
Double Barrel Friday request- King Diamond “Abigail” and Mercyful Fate “Desecration of Souls”
Btbam: the proverbial below :)
Do you want to try something different? Try a South African band Just Jinger Shallow Waters! You'll love it!
Perhaps i'm asking to much here...but can you do a reaction on The Stone Roses'.."I wanna be adored"...I know...most young viewers don't know
about the Manchester Scene around the late '80s/early '90s....but this band was actually awesome!!
I second that. Also, for a more metal but equally atmospheric versione, I recommend the one by King Woman
Hey Geebz Happy Holidays.
What is your thoughts on Spit Fire Audio Abbey Road Albion One and BBC Symphony sampling Libraries?
Along with Cubase pro11 this my choice aling Waves Mercury plugins ill use to record my albums.
Please, react as composer to LeeGatto - Broken Idols (on SoundCloud) - so cool IPM guitar!
Is anyone going to introduce Jeebz to Portal? Is he ready yet?
I don't know...... Portal is no entry level listening experience.
Day two of asking geebz to react to ningen isu - heartless scat
React to Fishbone
do you want to listen to a great band and a great new song from them? then please do Cold Burn from a band called Culd of Luna, you wont be dissapointed
This is a little too Dragon Force for me but it is still amazing playing on everyone's part.
Sounds like iron maiden
Not really. Way faster. Maybe the vocals a bit but not the music. This is more like Racer X and other bands. Something between Speed Metal and Power Metal.
Day 8 of asking for Native Construct's Chromatic Aberration
I asked for this for a while, too lol
I 2nd this Native constructs- chromatic aberration!
anyone in this comment thread should also check out Mercury tree- Permutations
Have either of you fellas heard of Means End and their only album, "The Didact"??... If you like Native Construct you'll love Means End... I hear they're working on a new album!
