Great video, finally a guy that don't love to hear himself talk! My 07 superglide is doin the same thing, don't die but if u aint feathering the throttle I think it would, just what I needed TU!
I've got same symptoms on my 07 softail, just bought new sensor after many hours of researching and cleaning IAC valve... Hope I get fixed also with new sensor
Im having that issue now on my wife's 2009 Tri Glide, it doesnt stall out but it will lack power, she could be driving along and have bogged down throttle but doesnt stall. got it home and was throwing code P2135 and some sub codes that all seem to point to the throttle position sensor
Does anyone know what the other plug hanging from the TP sensor plug is?, you can see it in the video... what does that do?... is it the plug for the IAT sensor?... My bike came without it and runs just fine... It has an aftermarket K&N air filter... But I´ve always wondered if I'm doing any long-run harm to my bike...
Curious, did your bike throw a p1356? Mines having same issue as yours as well When you twist throttle for throttle I’ll check engine light will come on and then when I let off it’ll go off
I have a 03 Road King EFI FLHRI with a Thundermax ECM. Im starting to think my TPS is worn or broken. My question is...Do you have to re-calibrate the TPS with the Thundermax.???? Doc Harley seems to think I have to0 but I cannot find anything in the Thundermax software are TPS calibration
Hi, I’m having the same issues with my sporty dying at stops rides fines once it gets going. The only way it won’t die is if the choke is on which I know is not good to ride with. Was this your case? Thanks in advance
Was your bike surging ? Before u swapped the tps ? Like would your bike jerk while accelerating ? I think im having the same issue with my 2002 road king
I just started having the same problem. I cleaned it first, seemed to be okay. Problem came back, idling funny, check engine light came on. I'm gonna swap it out today if I can get one.
I'm having sort of the same problem with my 12 road glide ultra. sputtering, but it hasn't shut off yet and no error codes from what i've seen. replace TPS? reset the tps?
Thank you God bless you Army core of Engieers. Now if Harley Davidson would be that honest.2013 to 2014 ecu module freid internal controls back brakes and secrity if the brakes start fading for get the bull about flushing fluid repace the module before it fries oh yeah the molex plug is why it fried shity wiring
Good video. Short and to the point. I wish all of life worked that way.

No need to calibrate it or anything? I bought a new one and a engine temp sensor and an air intake temp sensor... tired of this stalling issue
How did you get to that second screw? I just did that and the second screw was horrendous to get to
Curious, did your bike throw a p1356? Mines having same issue as yours as well When you twist throttle for throttle I’ll check engine light will come on and then when I let off it’ll go off
Im having same issues on my 01 softail deuce ! Thanks

I can't seem to get to the top screw on mine. Ratchet piece too big. 08 street bob.
Is there a way to test those? Mine doesn't die, just chugs at low throttle and usually just when cold
Was your bike surging ? Before u swapped the tps ? Like would your bike jerk while accelerating ? I think im having the same issue with my 2002 road king
Did you change this part? If so did it work? I am having the same problem with my 02 Road King
I just started having the same problem. I cleaned it first, seemed to be okay. Problem came back, idling funny, check engine light came on. I'm gonna swap it out today if I can get one.
Hello anyone ,same problem with 06 fatboy..is the process just removing and replacing the part or is there more to it? Thanks
I'm currently having the idle and surging issue with my 02 EFI Road King. Did you resolve your issue?

Did the speedometer stop working too? I just went through heavy heavy rain and am having the same issue plus the speedometer issue
Probably fixed by now, but it could also have been your speed sensor that goes into your transmission
Mine does the exact same thing intermittently. Did this fix your problem?

👊🏻😎🏁
I have the same problem on my 2008 Road Glide but I don't have throttle position sensor what can I do
Nobody tells you with those two screws what is easy you have to make a tool😢
you really didnt explain nothing, what about calibration?
smart move . thank you
