Go K/N Air Filter that you wash, re oil, and re use. Do the oil to the breather bypass with the catch can, stop sending that oil to your breather and engine. DK Customs offer these, or you can make your own. At least look into it. I love mine, and it's easily concealed. Only you will know, and no more mess!
Too much oil in the engine ( DOES NOT) cause blow by . Only 1 thing causes blow by >> COMPRESSION leaking by the piston rings to the inside of the engine , in other words the cylinders need bored and/or honed and new piston rings . The other thing is , when the pistons travel up and down the cylinder , on the down stroke it creates a pressure threw the engine , on the up stroke it creates a vacume >> this is normal engine ventilation for any piston engine . Harley chose to use the very low profile head breathers inside the valve covers , the breathers are not tall enough to allow enough room (not tall enough) to allow proper separation of the oil and air before it goes to the air cleaner , now add piston rings leaking to that (actual blow by)and you have a real oily air cleaner problem , its that simple . A donaldson oil bath air filter is a good example of what Im talking about , the air comes threw the oil in the bottom and up threw the tall metal mesh wire where it separates the oil from the air and then the air goes into the intake . You might be surprised how many harleys are running around with leaking cylinders and scuffed/scored cylinders , it only takes about a cheap 10.00 dollar bore scope from ebay that works with a phone and/or lap top , down threw the spark plug holes looking at the front and rear of each cylinder for scuffing/scoring . Or check the compression , anyone having EZ start cams can not check their compression . A oil build up on the Tmap sensor from the above can ruin your engine , it controls the injectors and amount of fuel (rich or lean) along with the temp sensor . Now do what ever you want , you paid for it .........
Only trying to help. I have noticed a lot of people put too much oil in their motors. What happens I believe is the check valve bleeds and then people put more oil in the motor thinking that it's low on oil. A lot of people let their bikes sit for weeks and months on end. And this allows the oil to bleed pass check valve. This give you a false oil dipstick reading. Thank you for watching in your comment. You are right on the money but sometimes, other things that go into the equation. Ride safe and have a great day. Looking to hear from you again.
@@TwoWheelRocco You said ( A lot of people let their bikes sit for weeks and months on end. And this allows the oil to bleed pass check valve. This give you a false oil dipstick reading.) Thats true , my 06 1200C sumps like that all the time , any bike that the oil tank sets up high on it will do that , and your suppose to run the bike some then check the oil , but , that has nothing to do with what I explained earlier , concerning blow by , ventilation of the engine and the head breathers . Like I said before , you might be suprised how many are running around with the rings leaking compression into the engine block , unstable jugs that even distort when torqued down and that includes using torque plates , also running around with oil pump returns not working correctly causing oil sumping in the engine block and causing the engine to run extremely hot and that type of sumping includes bikes like my ultra that has the oil tank on the bottom of the transmission .

@@bikersoncall yes, noticeably better. I used the same product he used in the video. Hesitation and popping 95% gone…I’m thinking a new air filter may fix it completely 👍🏼👍🏼
@@andygalushko2695 Thanks man, I'll try that, and clean the filter as well.

I’ve got a question I hope someone can help me out with
I have a 2011 Dyna street bob that does not idle right
I’ve changed the spark plugs, cleaned out the throttle body, cleaned the filter and checked the throttle wires
Everything seems fine but still sounds like it’s going to boggle out then the rpm’s shoot back up.
Tps maybe?
Thank you in advance
Happy to try to help. What type of pipe are you running on this 2011 Dyna?
@@TwoWheelRocco I highly appreciate the quick response!
I just have Vance and Hines slip ons
@@Jay_Hernandez96 Fuel management system to straighten out your problem. Put the stock slip on pipes back on. See if it runs well. Let us know how it works out.
@@TwoWheelRocco unfortunately I do not have the originals. I bought the bike four years ago with the slip ons already installed. It never gave me a problem until just last week could it maybe be something else?
I just purchased a tps and will install tonight I’m hoping the sensor is the issue
@@Jay_Hernandez96 With that piece of information, that would be the best place to start and probably will resolve your problem. Let us know how it works out.

my 2010 883 sportster runs good, idles good. But, even after riding an hour, I can stop for 15-20 minutes and when I start it up it will idle at 12-1300 rpms for 2-3 minutes before it settles down to normal idle. I have replaced the temperature sensor on the rear head. It shows no error codes. have also cleaned the the throttlebody and IAC.
Happy to help. That will be the IAC sensor clean and re-clean. Common problem which isn't really a big problem like you stated. But can be a little annoying, Any questions just ask. Thank you for watching and your sub Woody. Ride safe and have a great day.

It'd be a good idea to fix your crankcase breather, it's going right into your throttle body.
Happy to help. I'm a big OEM guy. This is the way it was designed. I try not to create problems. If I want something that's high-performance. I'll get into my. GSXR territory. As for my Harley. Run the crankcase breather to a catch can or to the ground so simple air cleaner will be clean forever
Thank you for your insight and all your support Pan Heads forever. Ride safe and have a great day.
That sure is a small air filter for such a big engine! Looks like it could use a bigger air box and filter like maybe a big sucker or something!
Happy to help. I'll leave that up to the engineers at Harley Davidson. I like clean running motorcycles. I'm not one for reinventing the wheel. Been there done that. stressful I just wanna ride. Thank you for watching and your support. Ride safe and have a great day
Go K/N Air Filter that you wash, re oil, and re use. Do the oil to the breather bypass with the catch can, stop sending that oil to your breather and engine. DK Customs offer these, or you can make your own. At least look into it. I love mine, and it's easily concealed. Only you will know, and no more mess!
Thank you for your tip. And all your support. thangknows. Ride safe and have a great day.
