    Rosehips are the edible fruit of the rose Bush. In this video we talk all about its uses history & how to identify this amazing edible fruit 😁 plus its nutritional values & uses in medicines from traditional Chinese, folk medicines & it's uses today.

      Bell pepper have higher vitamin C than an orange also.

    Hey family i remember learning about how school kids earned money to pick rosehips in war times so they could make the rosehip syrup. I was blown away by the vitamin c content. Fascinating facts. Itchy bums 🤣🤣. We cant wait to make rosehip syrup ready for winter. Thanks for sharing!

      @@homeiswhereourheartis i think they will. I don't know if i told you but we found over 30 apples in the grass, the landlord didnt pick any apples and all the damsons have shrivelled up. Caleb was like how could they not pick everything. So we took the apples and found some pear and we are gonna make the leather sweets and a crumble

    Fantastic video and music at the end. I recently discovered that rosehips grow on trails that I walk every week here in British Columbia. I didn't know what they where until I looked it up online and discovered what I have been missing this whole time. I already see myself using them in desserts and teas.

    I love rose hips would love to have more growing in my hedge
    I have my great grandmother's rose planted out there hope it blooms next year :)
    I moved them in the spring but want to plant more this fall
    Would love to get a wild one growing

      Plant some more bushes. I bought them on line. They arrived looking like twigs 2 years ago. I planted them on my garden in the border. They have really thrived. I've had dozens of rosehips on this bush this summer.

    do you recommend any healing foraging books a and how to make things be nice to read after watching for when the internets down , and i need healing remedies love rosehips ive been gathering all winter looking all over great for sore throats and the skin great videos thankyou for making them so relaxing, and full of ideas recipes knowledge

      Yes but makes sure they've not been covered in chemicals. All different rosehips have different flavours too 🙂

    just a personal assumption:
    The inside of the rosehip fruit is hairy.
    Inside the small intestines are fine hairs that are vital for nutrient absorption.
    Do you know of any other plant that has feathers in it?
    Rosehip can be an excellent food for the small intestines.
    The small intestine is responsible for the absorption of vitamins.
    Rosehip is a high source of vitamin C.
    Rosehip can improve the vitamin absorption of the small intestine.
