    You are so vibrant and inspiring soul. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with the world 🌎. Some people feel the rain, others just get wet. Just wow! I definitely feel the rain, I almost talk to it. Feel sad when somebody feel that a rainy day is depressing, I hear this alot, specially in England.
    Love from Brazil 🇧🇷 ❤

      Agreed! I didn’t fully appreciate the rain until I got into mushrooms a couple years ago. Here in California we get so little rain that it is a real special occasion for me now! Hiking in the rain is wonderful, and the best part is hardly anyone else is out so you get nature all to yourself!

    Just been out foraging rosehips some for syrup, some for drying and then infusing in oil. It's great for the more mature skin

    Hey you two, how serene to hear that melancholic picking of the guitar. I dislike anyone saying things like 'how lucky you are' to be living in the part of the land you are re the intro but HOW BLOODY LUCKY YO...😂 The Rosehip has been an absolute staple of mines and my daughter's for a couple of years now. We are in the north west of Scotland and seems to be around December/January before they are soft enough to squeeze that goodness right out of the berry. Wonder when the ripe moment is for you down there? The sunrise was everything that cannot be described. Thank you and a very blessed Samhain/Halloween to you and yours 🧡

      The view is of the south downs here in Sussex 😁 Scotland a beautiful place we hope to travel across 9ne day! We pick them the same time as you for more squishyness but for tea we pick them abit earlier just because we can 😁
      Glad your enjoying our channel ✌️🙂

    Just found your channel and have binge watched alot of your videos! What a great channel, i have a 5 acre woodland i planted with native trees 10 years ago, nearly all the plants you have shown on your channel grow on my land in the woodland or around it. I have just purchased your book off the back of watching your videos and i look forward to reading it and making the things you have in your videos, thank you for videos and knowledge!

    In the 1960's school used to have an annual Rosehip picking. We then took them to school. Hedgerows were full of them but don't see them as much now.

      Yes! They only grow on heritage roses, not on hybrids. You will see them turning red at this time of year, especially after the first frost. My rose bush is covered with them!

    What about something without white sugar. I don’t want to cause inflammation with too much sugar in even honey if it eaten exclusively can cause inflammation and potentially creating cancer rogue cells. As sweet things makes us acidic like meat but no cancer cells grow in an alkaline environment.💖
    Thank you for all your interesting knowledge and tales.🤩🥰💞

    • @SaxonRanger94
      @SaxonRanger94 3 місяці тому

      Its fine of you dont boil the hell out of it. He did go over this point in the video, it lowers the nutritional value, doesn’t completely destroy it. Just below boiling temp and longer steeping time is best.
