I think I'm going to go ahead and make the presumption that this guy went away from the game for a little bit and that their controller was stuck pressing their shield button. xD Those gamepad shoulder buttons are pretty easy to press against something on accident, for example.

The player might have not been paying attention on the game and was busy or something. And they probably left/ or forgotten their controller so it probably was upside down or pressing against something. And, this is nowhere near to taunt parties. I believe the player would have crouched repeatedly,multiple short hops, and of course taunt at the beginning if they were gonna pull a "brawl's taunt" party.
+Wanda Martinez Good point, but I can't differentiate between the For Glory players who do this to be funny, inept, or as you said, left their controller. If someone was busy and needed to leave the match, they could have easily SD'ed twice instead.
