- Of all the matches I played during today's Battle of Alola event, this match easily had me the most on-edge. I didn't bring any legendaries to this so it kind of feels like an uphill battle for me... I'm still winning a pretty fair amount though, so at least it's still fun to play,

I thought your Golisopod set didn't have Sucker Punch at first, but you definitely came back in a great fashion. This was a fun battle to watch, and I am sure it was even more fun to play.
She was constantly using Roost and Calm Mind, which would've tipped my hand too early if I had shown it. On the last turn I was very afraid of her just Roosting to drain me of my Sucker Punches.
I definitely think that was a good play, and makes perfectly logical sense.
I've been watching since the romhack days, so seeing Pokemon on the channel was a nice surprise!

Man, I'm suprised how strong that Sucker Punch was at the end, especially considering most of your other moves didn't do much substantial damage to Lunala. Like, I know how strong Sucker Punch can be, but still :D
Well, it only got hit with special moves before that, which it defended against doubly with Calm Mind. Also its 4 times weak to Sucker Punch. Pretty Sweet comeback there.

Just beat the story last night after playing for like 10 hours. Gonna update my team. Keeping my Incineroar and evolve Pikachu. Gonna sub out Greninja and Snorlax. Mimikyu and Mudsdale are gonna be swapped in and out every now and then. Gonna try and build a full Alolan team that I like.
EDIT: Actually Azura I'm surprised you didn't make your guy's hair white since you can get white and red hair dye after beating the Elite 4.
I'm surprised they did not put a restriction on having legendaries in the team for this event. Because on Battle Tree and the 4 way bout, you're not allowed to have legendaries during that. Though..I'm not sure what the Ultra Beasts would be classified as in terms of these tournaments. I would think they're a legendary like Lunala.

LordDrieg She might have won if she didn't try in vain to beat minor with it though golispod was very weak.. still a poor pick, her strat was nothing but Lunala spam.

Hey Azure, I was wondering what you Minior had any item on it? I understand acrobatics deals more damage without one but why not go with a white herb, get rid of the negative defects from Shell Smash and still get the increase from it and since you used your item in that turn when you use Acrobatics you have used your item so it still doubles the damage.
Battle of Alola doesn't permit the use of items, so Minior went in empty handed. I normally use a White Herb with him.

XxKesano_Killa _xX nothing is banned or restricted and I hate it. I've encountered multiple teams of all ultra beasts😒
XxKesano_Killa _xX u could bring just one special pokemon and also greninja ash....the tapu and ub arent that problematic when u know how to deal with them

XxKesano_Killa _xX actually i could bring all the tapus and pheromosa buzzwhole or kartana in a whole team...but that wasnt a good matchup on coverage ...and i didnt bring solgaleo or lunala either cause i didnt have one with good nature and iv...so i end uo with alolan ninetales, salazzle, mimikyu, bewear, milotic and the only ub i brough was buzzwole...i made i mistake not bringing tapu koko or raichu because of celeestela...but i didnt find it at all in my rivals teams....the 85% of the work was done by salazzle taking out buzzwole and tapus, milotic and ninetales ...result was 10 wins 5 losses...and on every single team they used or lunala or solgaleo xD
