Just took this to the range and wow what a difference. I've been struggling with my driver for a few weeks now and coming outside in on my irons and today, arrow straight drives and a baby draw on the irons (and probably 10% longer to boot!). Anyone who hasn't tried this please do, it's a game changer. Thanks Steve!!!

Appreciate your perspective on the downswing…a lot of times golf instructor’s perspectives can be hard to merge the concept and reality on the course…I have adopted your bunker technique and though not expert, definitely not leaving bunker shots in the bunker anymore…keep it up Steve…realize that no matter how many pros try to teach or explain the same concepts and techniques, the student will relate to some more than others… that’s why I follow your content👍👍👍

Been struggling with my driver for the past two years now. Duck hooks OB etc. It kills my chance of par and my total score. My irons are fine. Ive been a 12 hcp. Tried this tip today first one down the middle. Second one boom. I played each driveable hole on my course for 14 holes in my mind on the range. I would have shot 78. This belt buckle move is what I’ve been looking for ! Thanks Steve! I’m a subscriber for life!

I have tried this on the course and my shots have been solid (most of them) and on target (most of them.) The misses are still in the right neighborhood! This makes the game more fun. Great stuff again Steve! The golf swing, for many, is often better without a ball! "Letting it go" and swinging through the ball....as if it wasn't there(!) is often a great exercise to help better understand that the swing is through.....not hitting at...the ball. Love your honesty....again, about a missed strike! The sound was certainly different😂

I like your magic moves. Please make one video about how long you keep bend left knee at impact and then to extend fully with finish. I noticed I have to stay down longer to go through the ball not to hit fat shot and then extend very late . Most of the high handicapper has this problem to hit fat shot .

Interesting, thanks Steve. I've discovered through a lot of experimentation this year, that going "at" the ball is my biggest problem. For my swing something needs to happen back/behind the ball instead of at it. I've been working on the feeling of throwing the clubhead back/behind but I'll give the head strategy you described in this video a try.

Happy Christmas, Steve! This is a great video and I wish you were closer so I could come for a lesson. I have had a theory about alignment, for a long time, and this video just solidified it for me. It also opened my eyes to how this theory impacts our regular golf swing and how we set up to the target, potentially either left or right of the intended target. I would love to see you test this yourself and let me know what you find. Which eye is your dominant eye? Whichever eye that is, for me it is right, set up for a 12-foot, straight putt...however, in my case being right-eye dominant I would use a left-handed putter. Let me know if you find it any easier to see and set up to the intended line of your put. It may take a bit to get the feel of putting from this side of the ball, but notice if your misses are more online and if it is easier to identify your intended line. What solidified it for me was your tip about turning your head to the right and "looking" behind the ball. Jack Nicklaus did this...I now believe I understand why, too. Could it be that it takes the dominant eye out of the swing? I'd love to know your thoughts.

Hi Steve. How do you tell whether your hips are "sliding/swaying" versus, a perfect hip "bump" and then that hard rotation at the end? I've been working very hard on this lately. I have also been told that the hip "bump" is not supposed to go forward but more "back", so it's the start of the hard rotation?!
    Thoughts?
