- A walking tour with ambient sound around the famous 'Sverd i Fjell' monument in Stavanger, Norway. More info here: www.lifeinnorway.net/the-swor...
The Swords of Stavanger (Sverd i fjell - Swords in the rocks) is a monument to commemorate the Battle of Hafrsfjord. According to the Icelandic sagas, this took place in the year 872, when King Harald Hårfagre - or Harald Fairhair - gathered Norway under a single crown.
It's a popular tourist destination in Stavanger, but the Møllebukta bay is also a popular spot with locals to relax. Today's video starts with a walk through the park and along the beach before reaching the famous swords. Enjoy the walk.

Nice place to visit. We stopped therre on a cruise stop, walked the town, then being short on time hailed a cab to take us out to the swords to look around and take some pictures. Very nice place to visit.
Looks just like in Elden Ring
Cool! I have not had a chance to see the swords yet, so nice to see them virtually for now 😀
I wish I met you there 5 months ago, since I think I was playing video games right then. I literally live near the three swords, I usually go there for a walk. Most likely if it's beautiful outide.
Thank you
Wonderful, I walked right there one month ago on 19th of August...
