2019 is a good year for Metalheads...
LOVING IT
Yup new korn, slipknot, rammstein, lacuna coil.. awesome
@@jmgdarkest9034 Exactly! 4 of my favourite bands out there..
Indeed it is
Lacuna Coil, Skillet, Rammstein, Oomph, Slipknot, ... What a year !
This band literally gets harder and heavier with each album which is so rare these days.... can’t wait for new album
I also get harder with each album ;)
@@wishuhadmyname LMAO!
Yes and its great!!
@@wishuhadmyname tf, haha!!
Downtuned =/= heavy. They were heavier on comalies.
holy shit lacuna coil is heavy af now????
They changed direction with Karmacode.
😅 IKR? I'm so late!!!
Lacuna Coil at their finest. The vocals of both singers are seasoned and powerful at this point. The lyrics are emotional and thoughtful. The band is more polished now but just as genuine as ever.
100
That dude has always been trash.
Andrea's voice just gets better with each album
Since Dark Adrenaline
True that, but Cristina’s voice is pure gold!!!
@Butcher B you mean autotune?
Andrea and Cristina *-*
true
Cristina was my platonic love during my youthfulness... and still is.
Both most of us :D
All of us
You and each fan *-* she is fantastic
THE QUEEN
ahhahahahahahahahahaha
I'm so in love with her voice ...
Hers is one of the best in the genre...It's hard to believe she's been around for twenty years already...
Only her voice? LOL
*his* she has always been on point. HE, FUCKING delivered.
I dreamed of music like this when I was a teenager in the 80,s listening to warlock ,ozzy and megadeth thinking we need to kick it up .
Fuck Yeah bro!!
Finally a song where I can fully appreciate Andrea's vocals. This song's sound is killer
Have to admit, I was never his biggest fan. But he's really good here.
Loving his vocals in this, he really shines on this track.
He is very good, not only in this song, even i do not like him very much!
Yeah, compare his vocals every album. He's learning, he's evolving and I like it.
Same
I swear lacuna coil is like fine wine, they're just getting better with age.
id also like they recent work better than the old one
I think it's time for you to get some new speakers
I mean it sounds great. But sounds very generic. Their old stuff like falling on the EP or to live is to die, comalies, etc. That work was very unique, no sound like it. No it's just generic. It's good, but generic. Bands like Deadlock have had similar sounds for a decade (see/hear awakened by sirens).
Or the world is getting dumber.
Or all of you are gay butt pirates😂😂😂😂
This ones a banger. Feels like they have got heavier as they aged, its usually the reverse with most bands, not that its a bad thing. Great jam here.
I haven't properly heard Lacuna Coil since "Comalies". I am deeply impressed how their sound matured. The achieved a nice balance with both singers (who are actually singing better and with more personality) and even the instrumental section is more interesting, especially the drums. It is good to see how time served them well! Not every band ages so well as Lacuna Coil. Congratulations and kind regards from Brazil!
Well said. This heavier more technical sound is sic imo! They’ve definitely found a formula that generates more power!
Andrea rules this song with his vocals!!!! True love!
For the 1st time in 18 albums
Crushed it.
@@volumedealer2716 He was amazing on Delirium🤔🤔
@@bryanlenihan5012 That's right, but still he keeps improving time and time again. And the performance with this song is nothing short of impressive.
@@volumedealer2716 Hr has always been good, he is just better doing guttural.
They said it was going to be heavy...and they delivered. Love that bass line and drums are heavier than anything else they’ve done.
Which is weird considering the fact that the song sounds like they forgot to record the bass
@@counterweight320 Yeah, i'm not a fan of the low end mixing. It seems like they did a high pass over the whole mix and cut the bottom end out completely then compressed the shit out of it, especially the drums
I'll reserve my judgement until I hear this song on a proper audio player but at the moment it's not the heaviest LC song in terms of both sound or dynamic.
fleshTH agreed. If the studio quality doesn't show a markedly beefier sound than this I will be disappointed. Bear in mind, this is a UA-cam clip so it's gonna be compressed anyway so let's just wait and see.
Delirium?
Andrea really worked on his vocals, he really stands on top of the bar.
I never quite gave Lacuna Coil the listening they deserve.... But better late than never what a band the vocals compliment each other to perfection. Listen..... 🎸
By Lacuna Coil standards, this sounds pretty heavy...love it
It resembles a lot of their early work, and I love it 😍
I like the balance they've struck here,
It's heavy, but not continously,
Making the impactful parts
Seem stronger without breaking the song
Check "Angel's punishment" from Comalies. They always had this heaviness in them. They just preferred to focus on the softer, melodic part of their music (which was always there too) for a few years, but in the last albums the heaviness gradually reappeared and now they have completely unleashed it with this one.
Amazing bass line, good thing that you can hear it and its not hidden
Totally agree. The bass punches through like a Periphery song.
Wish they added some Deftones-ish bass intros
Yes, Marco Coti-Zelati or Maki, is very talented. He's always been responsible for bass, keyboards, album concept covers and occasionally guitars. The latest album was auto-produced by him
Maki is a beast!!🤘
Boy they better put Maki out front..with him being responsible for most of their writing :)
This makes me so Happy. My ex- husband introduced me to Lacuna Coil back in 98' He passed this last April from kidney failure. We talked about the first time we saw Lacuna Coil before he passed.. They opened for Moonspell and it was one of our favorite dates. Wow! Those days were so amazing.
Sorry for your loss. Glad you were both able to share your love for Lacuna Coil
This is what I call aging like fine wine! I love this sound!!!
Can we take some time to appreciate Andrea's voice?
(As well as the rest of the band's performance)
check her voice live mate
@@venomsnake7689 Already did. I absolutely love Cristina's voice, but Andrea and the musicians are often underestimated
Andrea voice live is way far better than studio version, I was so impressed and the band was really impressive as well
@@johntrooper5310 I gotta agree, Christina has always been amazing but Andrea has REALLY improved over the last few albums.
Cristina is always amazing, but I feel like Andrea's really come into his own, and he has been killing it!
LAYERS OF TIME
LAYERS OF TIME
I live the life I left behind
A story born of scars and trifes
My heart is blind and frozen
I'm among snakes
I'm well disguised
Healers and dealers of this time
The poison enters every night
Well disguised
Victims of time
We take our chance again
Our road is paved with pain
The past we can't rewind
Building this life
Still trapped inside
I think I've lost the storyline
Forever hurt and broken
I swear I'll get out alive
Burning the bridges built behind
My life's reloading every night
Out alive
Victims of time
We take our chance again
Our road is paved with pain
The past we can't rewind
Blaze
Twisting
Turning
Through the baptism of fire
Burning angels falling
Through the spiral of time
Through layers of time
We'll live again
Forget the past
We'll be alright
Victims of time
We take our chance again
The road is paved with pain
Keep walking
We'll find the way

thanks for sharing this🤘
The quality of this album is amazing. I feel like this is their best album in years! Cristina and Andrea have blown me away with their vocals, and I hope every album from now on is this good.
Black anima is their best album since comalies 🖤🔥🤘✅💯👏👍
"Black Anima" is one of the best LACUNA COIL albums ever
Most bands go weak sauce with age but NOT Lacuna Coil🤘👊🏻
this is weaksauce
@@tuulenkoti Much like your use of language. Sentences start with a capital letter, cretin.

If this dosen't make you fall in love with this woman, you're a lost cause.
Verily!
It makes me sad but very happy at the same time
Honestly, she’s the best
This woman is a goddess. This band is just always so on point!

Pero Andrea!!!! Andrea mejora cada vez!!! Amo sus guturales 🤘🎤🎶🤘
Increíble lo que canta estos años

my favorite part !
@Riccardo Milliava Metallica Fan?
Right!?! that shit gives me goosebumps😂
First the single, then the live video on Facebook, now the official video; this made my day!
2019. The last normal year.
I'mma be real with ya'll. I've listened to Lacuna Coil on and off for years and didn't really think Andrea added all that much in terms of vocals. He always seemed to be second to Cristina in every song I heard. Here? I genuinely thought they got a new vocalist at first. The improvements he has made are astounding. I feel like on this track both singers offer equal parts and the song wouldn't work without them both together. That's what Lacuna Coil needs to be, and I am so happy to have found this.
did you miss delirium? he was amazing in that
@@trashheap94 I'll check it out, thank you!
Talk about evolution!!! Tone is great, mix is killer, drums sound great, male vocals are beefy, christina is still a goddess that really hasn't changed, I dig it!
Gota agree tone is really good. Haven't listened to the band for years was shocked tbh they sound like they have modernized quite but but held onto themself's really well.
males vocals? Can't even name Andy? nice fan.
@@user-ru9gf7ky2y you're right, I'm not the the biggest LC fan but this is great progress from when I heard them 8-10 years ago. Make friends not enemies dude
@@user-ru9gf7ky2y Why do you feel the need to be hostile towards newer fans showing their appreciation? Cristina herself regularly talks about about love and acceptance, we all know this world needs more of it

Those Lacuna Coil chills are back 😍
Riiiigghhhht? Every time they sing, I feel like crying, screaming, laughing all at the same time, all the while whipping my non-existant long Rockstar hair back and forth, while my hands wave through the air🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
Literally gave me chills!
I don't give a damn what this algorithm thinks is good.
I am human and I know in my heart what is good.
This is it.
This will sound crazy, but has Lacuna Coil finally found it's sound? How many other bands were great for decades then got... better?!
I think you nailed it. I became a huge fan when "Karmacode" came out - couldn't stop listening to it. Now it seems like they took it to another level - and it sounds tremendous.
yup indeed. they're only one step behind their perfection now!
Couldn't agree more!
Linkin Park got better, I'd argue their first album may be their worst, and their third probably their best. RIP Chester!
Personally I think their perfect sound was Comalies but this is quite similar to that
I want to have cristina scabbia singing in my ear all day ❤
William Drakull Cristina, can you sing "Soft Kitty" to me?
I do actually do that sometimes while I'm working. I put on my lacuna coil playlist and just hit repeat for the whole day. It's gotten me through lots of long hard working days.
You will not be disappointed cos Lacuna Coil NEVER disappoints ❤️🖤🤘🏼
I'm disappointed. Now what?
Lacuna Coil stepped it up big here!!
@xREZxTITANx I DO NOT have information that will lead to Hillary Clinton's arrest!
Actually disappointed a lot these recent years, that is until this song came out. Absolutely brilliant! Best thing in metal currently!

This track is absolutely SAVAGE!! Lacuna Coil is even heavier than before but they maintain the melodic elements they always have had! Wow!
Love this song she rocks her voice is amazing.
My god, these drums! I absolutely adore this song
Is it me, or does this song not only hit hard... But in the video itself, the band just looks revitalized and confident AF! Just the small things like like Cristina's hand gestures and Andrea's intensity is so fierce! Freaking loving this song, can't stop listening. 30th time today. >.> Hell yeah!
EDIT: Cristina's facial expressions as well, so intense!
ya its good but how come they dont play this on the mainstrea m radio?
@@sargentle8517 because all they play on mainstream radio is pop-crap. Imo. Radio works on popularity and what gets popular? Music that is catchy, but is lyrically shit.
Agreed it looks as if they know they made a masterpiece!
They keep it real. Its not a wannabe goth band
They are so awesome ,,, gives me chills!!!
They are getting edgier and edgier with every new album and I love it
Been a fan for 12 years now. And i must say, from begining to end this band has been so loyal to their music. I dont think they will ever stop. Niether do i ever want that too!! Hands down a powerful backround on these guys!!
This song is so awesome. Lacuna Coil never disappoint and they are the nicest people!
I've never really been a big fan of Andrea's vocals, but he kicks ass in this. Can't wait to hear the whole album. Lacuna Coli just gets better.
he is sounding BEASTY. So good.
I didn't even think it was the same guy, I had to look it up.
I've never been a fan of metal, but I've been in love with Lacuna Coil since Comalies...so I wouldn't say I'm a fan of growling in music. BUT I think Andrea's shift toward more growling and just going harder in general in their last two albums has really reinvented him as a vocalist and made him a genuine strength. It definitely contrasts perfectly with Cristina's vocals.
Mitchell Cline speak for yourself. Andrea’s is his own and unique, beautiful voice!
Yes, absolutely. Here Andy just sounds fully unleashed. He's not playing second fiddle to Christina.
"twisting, turning, through the baptism of fire, burning angels, falling, through the spiral of time"
Wow.
Seeing this live in November just was everything.
I know Lacuna Coil for 17 years now. They have changed a lot during this time, but I always loved those changes. This does not happen with many bands. :) See you November 23rd!
Can't deny I prefer moody, melancholic and slowy Lacuna Coil (first 3 albums) but I freaking love how they're evolving. Bring this new album on already!
I also love first three albums, especially Comalies. For me this song sounds like it's taken from Delirium. Nothing new but heavier. And why does it have to be so dark?
Unleashed is my favorite but if this is what's to come it might beat it it JUST might
Vinícius Ferrenberg yea I lost interest in them years ago.
It’s not the same band anymore
My preference lies with the earlier material as well but I did really like some aspects of Delirium, even if I wasn't completely on board with some of its ideas. That said, this track does feel like a distillation of what I did like about Delirium, though I'd be hard pressed to say it has yet to have anything on songs like A Current Obsession, Reverie or Entwined in my eyes. It's fine, just not my favorite sound from the band.
@@mioszambicki254 I guess the perspective of what "dark" is varies a lot. To me this song is an up tempo energitc song, but songs like Angel's Punishment and When A Dead Man Walks are perfect exemples of how dark gothic rock/metal has to be
Ma come cazzo è possibile che ad ogni nuova canzone voi miglioriate sempre di più?
Holy shit has this band changed in the 10 years I've happend to forget about them
I remember when I use to listen to Commalies more than 15 years ago, and to think how great Lacuna was. But they surprised us, this is totally like wine, they have gotten really better, I am really addicted to this new album.
Entwined and Heaven's a lie are still good though :)
Well they are Italian, so it’s in the blood.
Wow.. I haven't heard Lacuna Coil since Karmacode. This is a hell of a song to return to.. Looks like I need to get reacquainted.. Haha
Same
Fever Dream Terror same history as you! Gonna get this album!
You have to check out their prior album to this then, Delirium!
Delirium was pretty good too
Me too! I'm surprised they went in this direction
Im super glad they kept the heavyness.of Delirum album!!! Love the riff's and Andrea's type of vocals!!!
Me too!
Yes the heavy element is great for live shows
Wow. Andrea is amazing here...this mixture of his harsh growling with Cristina's beautiful melodies is just...beyond perfect.

I'm so glad I've found you many years ago, and still have the privilege to listen to your music
Your music taste is gold gurl
I first saw Lacuna Coil at an all-day Rock Festival (before then, I'd heard their songs on the radio.) Her presence live makes you feel connected to her even if you're way in the back of the crowd. Like she understands how you feel, or she can sense you're a big fan... Or she can somehow feel your outstretched hand even from over there... Mysterious.

Andrea's vocals are like OMG he has really grown. Cristina that amazing haunting beautiful voice of hers is still refreshing. I believe this new album is going to hit hard on the charts.
I'm glad they went in a heavier direction especially for when doing live shows to get the crowd moving
I *really* appreciate a metal band where from time to time the singers let the music lead a track. Incredible stuff!
This is a PERFECT combination of clean vocals and screaming.
Thank you, Lacuna Coil, for going heavier with years (unlike some other colleagues of yours)!
Heaviness does not equal quality.
They have gotten worse. They used to sound like themselves. Now they sound like everybody else
@Strange person, agree. But at least, they're not cheating on their genre.
Of course, there are many power ballads that might not necessarily include heavy guitar riffs but they're quite "heavy" lyrically. And we need those songs too.
@@821lancevance I agree with you. This is starting to become a little formulaic. I really hope their other work will regain the typical melancholy finesse I miss so much. Still, this isn't bad
@Ghost in The shell, to each their own...I personally didn't like "In a Reverie" or "Shallow Life" so much...
But still... even if they sound differently, when I hear Lacuna Coil sing, I can say: "Oh, this is Lacuna Coil", regardless...
A paradise lost vibe, good song.
(°o°) Totally
foojam2002 Paradise Lost...really? Where? It all sounds very “american” (it’s not a critique) IMHO, I don’t hear any “european” and/or British mood in this song...
Their first 3 albums were Paradise Lost worship..
Christina's voice is amazing 😍😍😍
I love how everyone in the band turned their dials to 11 on the Black Anima album.
wow! I was a huge fan back in the early-mid 2000s and kind of fell away. popped back in to see how they're doing and I'm really impressed!
I legit clicked on this video and walked away from my coworkers saying I have to see if this band is doing anything new and exciting but they are probably not. Boy was I wrong!
The same happened to me 3 years ago. I liked them a lot around the Unleashed memories/Comalies era, then I moved on to other styles and groups and lost track of them. When they released Delirium I heard it by chance, loved it and that turned me back to them and explored all the albums I had missed, and to my surprise I found out I liked them all, and eventually went to see them live (they were amazing). Now they are one of my favourite bands.
I'm glad they decided to take a chance and change their style
Same! I actually remembered them about 3 years ago because my friend on Facebook had been liking Cristina's Facebook posts and I was seeing them in my news feed, reminded me and I thought I should see what they are doing, bought Delirium and went to see them live twice :D I hadn't listened since maybe 2005, in fact the last CD I had was Comalies.
I'd honestly recommend you get totally caught up! Because I personally love all their albums and how they've experimented and evolved over time. Karmacode is still one of my albums of theirs. I can recall listening to it on repeat for an entire day on several occasions 😅. But I really love it all. Iove the band as a whole. Everything they've done, from past to present.
idk why but it was kinda adorable seeing Christina twirl at 1:30 lol
Still listening 2023❤❤❤😊
I've literally never heard of this band before seeing it in my recommended. Ashamed at how I'm just hearing this now. Phenomenal song! Truly out fuckin standing!
This blew me away. They keep getting better and better. Busiest band in metal. Greatest band from Italy. OCT 11 2019!!

Anytime you have a rough day or are in the slumps, listening to LC reminds you that metal is alive and well and great bands like LC continue to produce and perform absolutely amazing music that is unmatched, amidst the times and troubles of 2020 and 2021. Great job LC and keep it up! Hope to catch you for the third time soon!
Damn. This is better than the old stuff and "heaven's a lie" is in my top 10 songs of all time.
Damn this song was so fucking good, I didn’t even know they released a song in July or about the upcoming album. Definitely looking forward to the rest, their last album was superb!!
Cristina's voice is inhuman. I don't know what to do with myself after this.
She almost puts me in tears when she sings....can a guy admit to this in public?
well, how about listen her voice is Ayreon etc projects
daemonka the house of shame is anther good example about it
@@puffnstuff12 Yes he can, and that's how you know you're not dead inside.
@@daemonka
Christina, Simone, Floor, Sharon, Charlotte, Amy Lee all stir me when they sing. James LaBrie of Dream Theater moves me when he sings too.
This is the greatest metal song I’ve heard in a decade
it has a bit of similarity to Lamb of God but without the female
Former co-worker clued me into this band. Don't think I've ever been so musically grateful before. 🥰💀
You've got badass coworkers. Mine would only lead me to even more hillbilly's pop tunes, even thought I work at a musical theater of all places. Then again, I'm just a stage worker and performers are too good to communicate with low end workers like us.
@@exlibrisas He was wearing a tee with a goth band I'd never heard of before. I mentioned The Birthday Massacre, he mentioned Lacuna Coil.
New discoveries are fun. 😁
dam the mix on this was brilliant..love how the synths ran with her vocals and how god dam menacing his vocals were...and right from the opening note..bam..this track just had an amazing presence and who ever mixed this did a brilliant job bringing all the voices here together bass drums guitars humans brilliant mix honestly think they sound better than they ever have and it would seem time has really evolved this band into such amazing musicians...really liked the dark edge this song had and how the drums and bass brought it all together.
Could not agree more. This is the first song I heard of theirs since I think Karmacode, or maybe it was Dark Adrenaline, and they have really kicked the energy up a notch. Have since also listened to their last album, Delirium, too. Really, really digging this darker, more aggressive approach from them. Cristina's vocals have never sounded more confident and powerful.
O M G what's going on? Slipknot, Korn Behemoth etc. etc. released a new video recently.. now Lacuna coil.. keep it coming I'm loving it \m/
Fuck yeah! goin to be a great year for metal, I feel.
@@lonnyray2840 Already is. A lot of great releases this year, if it continues this way,I'll have at least 50-60 candidates for my Top 20 in 2019. Probably more.
Fuck yes it's been a good year for metal!
2019 whats a time to be alive my friend
I can think of ten bands alone in the metal genres coming out with f****** songs this year
Yes I loved them from the beginning
So much symbolism in these lyrics...black and white color tuning...yeah, this is Magick. They're powerful...
By the time the album comes out, I would have listened to this song about 250 times....
So glad Andrea Ferro is finally using those killer screams regularly. He never gave them much love but rare occasions in earlier days, but between Delerium, and now this I'm glad he's finally letting them shine, as he has an awesome scream. Great track.
i was on the fence and the bridge got me played this like 30 times in a row sick song
i'm so grateful that except my pain i have you to listen to, someone is there and understands
Never been a Lacuna Coil fan...guess i am now,i can't stop hearing this song
yeah me too
welcome to the club mate
Me too
It’s amazing how long this band has lasted and continued to evolve their sound so much over the years. I need to see them live again!
Some people are way over the top with bashing Andrea Ferro. Andrea has improved tremendously over the years, and the fact that the band has gained intensity in their recent albums is largely thanks to him.
Lacuna coil took their sound from before and added a dash of Behemoth to it. Hell fucking yes!
Hearing Christina's voice is like listening to angel descending from the heavens shrouded in gold and blinding light 🙌🏽
I still fondly remember the days of Our Truth or Heaven's a Lie
Heavens a Lie is what got me started as well. Great song.
Sometimes Cristina’s voice can run a tingle down your spine, a wonderful mix of both beautiful and haunting.
Been a fan since 2002-2003 in Iraq when I heard heaven is lie song on a metal album over there!!! The remake of Heaven’s a lie is kick ass.
I love it when Andrea does the death metal screams
So badass
Great song Cristina is amazing as usual
