  • These 3 Musketeers bars took awhile to make, not gonna lie, but they were better than the real thing, in my opinion! And everyone at work agreed! They thought they were also better than the homemade Kit Kats (video coming shortly). It was a simple process and only uses 3 ingredients. I would suggest using chocolate melting wafers instead of chocolate chips, though, as they seem not to melt in your hands as easily.

    Here are the other homemade candy bars I've made:

    Homemade Three Musketeer Candy Bars
    Ingredients:
    8 ounce tub of Cool Whip, defrosted
    4 cups chocolate chips (or chocolate melting wafers)
    1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    Directions:
    Melt 2 cups of chocolate chips in a medium sized bowl.
    Pour the melted chocolate into a large bowl and mix for 45 seconds. This will cool down the chocolate and get some air into it.
    Add the tub of Cool Whip and mix for 60 seconds. Batter will get thick.
    Scoop into an 8" x 8" pan lined with parchment paper.
    Freeze for 30 minutes.
    Place onto a cutting board and cut into squares.
    Put squares on a parchment lined cookie sheet.
    Freeze for another 30 minutes.
    Melt remaining 2 cups of chocolate chips.
    Add vegetable oil and mix well.
    Dip bars into chocolate and place back onto cookie sheet or onto another cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
    If bars get soft, put them back into the freezer for about 15 minutes.
    Once bars are all dipped in chocolate, put in freezer for about 20 minutes or until chocolate is hardened.
    Makes about 45 1" squares.
    Store in the refrigerator.
    Enjoy!

    Pour the mixture into ice molds and freeze them then pop them out and cover them with chocolate

    Alternatively, you can use coconut oil. It's a much healthier choice and you won't taste it when the chocolate hardens.

    Hi Jenny, This was interesting to watch because I’ve never seen Three Musketeer bars made before 🤔 They look good but I can see it takes a little time to dip all those little squares! I bet they were delicious though. Thanks for sharing and I’ll see you again soon, Dolores 🥰

    Use cocunut oil since it is a solid at room temperature it wont melt in ur hands. For people looking for healthier verion. Make ur own coolwhip with allose n whipping cream. Way better for u than coolwhip corn syrup

    • @jennyrice2216
      @jennyrice2216  Рік тому

      They will still be somewhat soft after freezing. The insides will be hard enough to be able to coat with chocolate. And in the end, they should be just soft enough to eat. ☺

    How would you store these ? Fridge or counter ? How long do they last.

    • @jennyrice2216
      @jennyrice2216  2 роки тому +2

      I would store them in the refrigerator as the chocolate kind of melted in my hand as I ate them and they will get softer the longer they sit out. And I would say they'd be good for about 2 weeks in the refrigerator - if they last that long! They are delicious and are eaten quickly! You could also put them in the freezer. Thanks for watching!
