  • This should be the definitive version of this show. Huge thanks to ‪@Wardell_ione‬ for providing me with this upgraded Jacksonville footage. Some new audio was included (as well as a slight upgrade of a few parts), and now we can hear Michael making fun of his brothers and Johnny before It's Your Thing. I have also fixed the setlist from the previous video. We now know that I'll Be There was played after It's Your Thing, and Darling Dear was actually an encore (before the final How Funky Is Your Chicken groove).

Oh Man!!! Thank you SO much for posting this!!! I'm always blown away by how PHENOMENAL these kids were. And thank you for showing footage of Tito and that shot of Marlon. I think I may have watched most of the TV and concert footage on UA-cam , and while I realize this was over 50 years ago, it pisses me off that they were FREQUENTLY left out of the picture, apparently overlooked. Would love to see footage of the LA Forum concert(s) in '70.

"The love you save" was the encore , "Darling dear" was actually after "who's lovin' you" while "How funky is your chicken" was before "Thank you (falettinme be mice elf agin)". Its just that bits of the show were put in the documentary without respecting chronological order.
Thank you for putting the real version. Nice quality.

In that last Darling Dear clip, the audio cuts to How Funky Is Your Chicken (that's what the little "woop" you hear is). The same thing happens between ABC and Feelin' Alright. This is how it is in the raw footage, and this means that it's not out of order. I'm also pretty sure Walk On was played before The Love You Save like in their 1971 Indianapolis concert.

@@edgarferrer8084 you are right about "walk on" & "the love you save" , they exit the stage right after that. However "Darling dear" &"Funky chicken" are not at the right place, it was put at the end in the doc.

@@midnight_the_penguin4347 used work on a project and did alot of reseach on their 70's tours found articles, rehearsal sheet papers etc.
For example this show "there was a time" was after "It's your thing" but along with other songs it didn't end up in the doc

First off, I COMMEND you editing the intro to ABC properly.. I'm not sure if people noticed that but they transitioned from I Want You Back to ABC like the short medley versions.. and in the documentary, the parts are clipped out of order. Awesome!
Also, the crystal clear quality of those songs... man. There's alot of new/fixed audio with this video... you're a saint!!! 👍🏽
