Yeah he had what some would call a questionable method of fathering. He was strict and used fear to control those boys. Probably was how he was raised. He didn't know any other way. He kept them in line and away from distractions. They learned discipline and perfected they're craft. They became stars. First group to have 4 straight number 1's off the rip on the Billboard pop charts. They're 5th single got to number 2. It took a toll on them though. The fame, the expectations . I still can't believe they never won a Grammy as group. I guess being considered " Bubble Gum" will get you snubbed.
